Been doing a lot of research on detailing as I'm in the process of a garage makeover and adding a detailing station for home DIY use. Chemicals are like tools, pick a brand and run with it. I have chosen KOCHCHEMIE because of their wide selection of products.

This is one of the best no bullshrimp videos I’ve ever watched. I really enjoyed your style of presentation and content! Im a P&S user thats been contemplating the same changes you’ve made.
Btw, i was based in Charlotte when i flew for American Airlines. Now retired and detailing in Northern California sierras
Ps. I wont be going to the PW though, i charge quite a bit more than most & want to offer a product with better longevity such as Defender
Also i hear plastic star is better on exterior plastics than TG due to its ability to spread better at lower usage

Nice video. People are sleeping on Pol Star. It also works on fabric, I use it to spot treat headliners and seats. Also, when you run out of protector wax try out their newest sealant S0.03 lasts a couple months from what I’ve seen.

PS was mainly intended for fabrics, leather and alcantara. Plastic cleaning is a nice off label perk that works great. Don't put too much money on the protection side of it. For that you have TS (top star) that is damn good at hydrating and protecting the interior plastics.
If you can I suggest using PW on darker cars and S0.03 on lighter cars. PW brings out the darker colors and S0.03 makes the lighter cars shine better. Both last a reasonable time for spray on and rinse products. I had daily drivers sealed with PW returning after 2 months that still sheeted water like crazy after a GSF wash.

And trucks and cars as a up sale and this stuff is amazing is Bilthamber Atom mac as it is a corrosion inhibitor . But for my interior supplies koche chemie , except glass cleaner , as Bilthamber trace- less is by far the best product I have ever used on glass. Give Dark Fury by Superior Products a try for your wheel and tire cleaner. Its alkaline so no real risk of damage to rims if it sits for a bit.
You can order it through oreilly for like $25 for a gallon, or from their website for about $17 a gallon.
It dilutes 4:1, and is honest to god a contactless wheel cleaner. Used it on a friends car that they've had since 2013 without ever getting a detail on their tires outside of the bs roll through washes give. She had grime all through the inner wheel, and all through the face and crevices. I heard others say its basically contactless so i just let it sit for 1 minute (just covered each wheel and rinsed them in the same order right after) and with my pressure washer with a 35 degree nozzle it was cleaner than the day she bought it minus some minor agitation on the studs.
If you want something similar (honestly i think its the same formula/lab that made it) grab sudslab zero acid wheel cleaner from walmart at 16 bucks for 32oz can be diluted 4:1 or used straight and use it to see if its a product you can rock with. Better performance and cheaper than KC and brake buster.

Usually on older cars you should avoid using GS above 1:20. I do a lot of old cars (90s and early 00s) on a regular basis and that's (IMO) the sweet spot on plastics. Also have a water damp towel to wipe the GS residue, before hitting it with a clean dry towel. It's one more step but saves you a lot of headaches.

Used koch chemie for quite a while, the pw if you add 2 capfulls to 500ml in your foamer your sweet, i also like to have a spray bottle mixed up works out even cheaper 30ml to 1 litre, don't mix a big batch it don't store well, mix as needed...cheers for the review ... never tried the acid wheel cleaner, gs with a agitation at 10.1 usually sorts it

Confused. Are you using GS and PO or just PO on doors and leathers. GS is an APC. I’ve used PO once last week. Great result on alcantara dirt
