Always learn something when watching this man’s videos. He taught me more through a screen than someone standing next to me trying to show me something. I’ve been challenging myself with big gaps. .250-.500 gaps with .062 wire. The root looks heavy on the outside but the inside always perfect. Nothing a grinder can’t fix if it’s heavy or turn up the amps a little hotter than usual for the hot pass.
I agree!! Do you know how much you would need to pay for any tig welding course in the USA? At least 14 -15 k!! He is doing it for free and teaching us all! That’s why you should all be supporting his channel way more by buying his merch or buying thanks on his channel! This man deserves it!!!
Mostly a stick pipe welder but have done enough tig. Love the videos. One thing that strikes me is the heat. You weld in general much hotter and slower than I do - I have to rethink and work on my stuff. Keep up the good work - inspiring.

when you have a hard time finding good fitters you will see this often at least 3/16- 1/4. the worst thing are tapered gaps, tight at the bottom and big at top.
