    I’ve learned so much from you. Thanks so much!
    Pipe Fabrication company that I’ve been allowed to come and practice on weekends can not understand how I’ve progressed so much in only three weekends after having never welded open root pipe before.
    They offered me the job to come in and learn more and as I pass the test they’ll bump my pay up on every passed test.

    What is a "buffing wheel" exactly? I doubt you meen a wheel used for polishing? I've been wondering for some time just never bothered asking. Great video as always. Thanks for making these!

      Use a grind wheel, maybe he mean the wheel with metallic wire that polish the surface

    • @X3MTIG
      @X3MTIG  8 месяцев назад

      Hey bud thanks for your comment. I meant wire wheel, but we like to say buffing wheel!

    What’s the best PSI setting for the argon on tig? I’m asking because some guys run it really high or very low PSI.

    Aren’t you supposed to reject pipe with hi-lo especially for x-ray i know it will show on x-ray but can you weld with a technique that it won’t show on the x-ray

    • @X3MTIG
      @X3MTIG  8 месяцев назад

      It all depends how bad hi-lo is, in my case. But in general you have right to refuse if you not happy with fit up.

      A small amount is normal with pipe to fitting welds
