I am not a professional welder ,I do not weld pipe or anything thick enough to require more than 1 pass. BUT, I have learnt so much from watching this channel, every video is packed with information and tips on how to do it. My welding has improved significantly. Thank you.
This is the best chanel on yt..Thank you for sharing your knowledge and keep going! Can you make some video and explane some side stuff like why use biger tungsteen, some tips with gas flow and machine setup and stuff like that..for us with little knowledge every new thing is plus
Man, as always, that root looks beautiful. I busted a test yesterday using a dinky little 150 torch, lack of fusion on one pass from running too cold. They let me retest and I used my Heavy Hitter rig. Ran her hot and passed no problems second time around.
Lil late getting to this video, but I had a weld like this in Oklahoma, they switched bolt ups to weld ins, man I loved it. Got to run 250 filling just shoving wire into the puddle. Very good experience man, not much changes in my opinion, just gotta burn hotter to burn that valve side. Great video Marko 🤙🏼 hope that rig is still treating you well brother and the lens too
Hey mate, I was just curious about what amps you were using for the root run. Trying to back feed but also having a pretty solid pipe to suck the heat out. Would I be right in saying about 125?
Beautiful weld and simple Technics ❤ man u class one question in this root do you move the wire side to inside the root 6 o'clock ? As in do u feed side to side or ur wire is in the middle
Bro, saya sangat menyukai setiap konten gtaw yang kamu unggah, dan saya sering belajar dari videomu. Tapi bisakah saya meminta kamu untuk membuat sebuah video pengelasan root pass material P91 dengan teknik walking the cup?
That’s one the worst fit of jobs I’ve ever seen. Glad you and your fitter were able to adapt and overcome. Are you TSSA or Alberta certified welder? In my time Ontario pipe welders were TSSA but we always had to test out at hydro or Petro Canada.
The only one who does real life welding and explains everything in the details! I love your videos brother! 💪🏽
Thanks brother 👊
Man i love seeing a new video posted from you. Ive watched all the others like 10x

120-125 would be good starting point.
Can you put a 2 or 3” pipe schedule 40 position so I can see how you do it?
Hi friend, can you please tell how many liters per minute you have you argon flow on the tig torch for the root pass?
Around 15-20 lpm
👍

Keep it in the middle
How are you sharpening your tungsten’s??
I like to use diamond wheel if available if not I use what I can…

I use to love welding. But here in Trinidad it’s awful.
Why?
the sides of my stainless welds are sagging, pipe too hot? or should i try and turn my amps down.
yes
Try to turn the amps down.
