Super video, fakat ti nije dosadno na poslu! Odlicno ti to sve objasnis, dobro si svlado svu njihovu terminologiju.Ti da se vratis kuci bi bio najtrazeniji lik nesumnjivo. 😆Pozdrav iz Zagreba👍🏻
One question when you do the laywire technique do you need to move the wire with four fingers to feed the puddle or you just don't? It would be nice a video of different ways or tips to move the wire i'm having provlems with that
@@X3MTIG biggest I got to do was 12” on this job I’m currently on. It was awesome. Hottest I’ve ever been able to run just feeding some wire lol. I’d like to shoot you an email if that’s cool, I dig the new hood btw bro, and the stickers. If you ever wanna sell them I’ll def scoop a couple for the lunchbox lol

Can remember ,my first vassel like pipe in 2g 😅.my routined college "dont be a scared welder". Put up your amps ,hit that root ,fill with the thickest wire you have ❤
I like to check purge with stainless 2mm plate, I put the plate directly on the gap and hold the arc for some time and if the opposite side of the plate is without oxides and is clean and shiny then purge is Good!
Hey bud, gap shrinks, and it’s not perfectly even, so I’m taking rod out of the puddle to make sure I got good penetration, and also I prefer to dip rod on narrow sections instead of keeping rod in the puddle or lay wire technique.
Is that flip up Sellstrom adaptor on your welding mask good enough? I am currently in search of good flip up passive lens mask. I am in Europe and use Evermatic mask which is not bad but has some issues
Where working at? I’m at genesse you’re the best 488 welder can you make a rice paper demo if you ever get a chance? Do welders like a little land on carbon for tig for my fit up and prep
Thanks bud for your comment! Good suggestion tho, I’ll try when I get a chance, and for the land, I like feather edge on carbon, and little bit land on stainless.
That’s some good work nice job bud. Quick question on some of your arc shots are you using glasses with a camera or you have someone with a camera doing them?

Honestly, i like how you don't talk down about anyone else.

Nice nice Job
Terima kasih banyak saudaraku.
Saya belajar banyak hal tentang TIG dari channel anda 👍
Semoga lebih sukses dan sehat selalu ❤️
Congratulations on the very careful and attentive work. Question: why did you use a reverse protection with inert gas on carbon steel? Oxidation?
Hey bud, thanks for your comment. I was purging pipe because it is chrome 5 material.
@@X3MTIG What is that piping for? Good job man
Very Nice . So how passes in total to complete ?
Thanks buddy, around 10 passes to complete.

You always have to feed wire trough your fingers!
How often do you come across a big pipe job like this? I can’t ever get on one
Not very often bud, but when I do I really enjoy doing it.

Excellent work
Do you still continue purging on the hot pass till cover pass?
No, I usually shut it off after first pass of fill.

Good tip!
Question….. for your dogs, what material do you use? Im curious.. same material as the chrome 5 pipe or carbon steel dogs?
Carbon material, welded overlays with chrome tig wire at the bottom part, to have enough meat, and they were PMI tested before use.
Good job teacher...❤❤❤

It’s really good, I like it personally, and you can always replace them with pipeliner helmets.

Wow this is crazy, right now we’re on a job doing a 24” 36” and 42” pipe. It’s all prepped and cut, now we are fitting it up. Very sketchy
What a monster pipe
