@@Shanepex hmmm ok, I'll give you that. To be fair he was going to but Okoye showed him that some Korean civilians were recording. I'm not sure what international law would have said about that... but maybe that's why.
In order for the scene to work they had to because if they left it in people would say that he's just there in the room with alot of hate and resentment for tchalla who would go against him

Some of us already knew he was pissed off that T'challa didn't kill Claw immediately or bring him back to Wakanda, to facd Wakandan Laws. He wanted revenge just like T'challa wanted revenge on Bucky Barnes, when he believed that he murdered his father in Captain America Civil War movie. It wasn't a secret you just had to pay attention while watching the movie.
If the CIA wasn’t present when T’Challa got Claw, he would’ve bring him to Wakanda but since they were there, he had to respect some laws. Just like with Bucky, he was ready to end him in that tunnel, but was stopped by German police. As his bestfriend Wakabi should’ve understand that but no he was to weak for that.
I never said that i agreed with Wakabi, i said some of us who watch the movie know why Wakabi betrayed T'challa, even without the Power Point Presentation. In Captain Civil War The Black Panther didn't stop trying to kill Bucky Barnes till he found that Bucky was innocent and it was actually Zemo who killed T'challa pops. Then he forgave Zemo because he didn't want to end up miserable like Zemo.
It’s not the same thing. T’Challa was literally sworn in as King back then. He was just a prince, though next in line but still not officially. And most importantly when T’Challa went after Barnes, he didn’t put any wakandan life in danger, he didn’t betray anyone’s trust. Hell had you polled the entire population and asked if they’d wanted revenge for their king they would’ve said yes probably. All that is very different than infiltrating a serial murderer who clearly and open admitted having no interest in the good of wakanda, it’s very different than betraying your king as a member of the fcking BORDER TRIBE, like they meant to be that last ones to betray the throne. Not only did he betray the king, he betrayed his own wife and would’ve captured and possibly killed her had they won. T’Challa did none of this and when he got an opportunity to kill the real killer, he didn’t and spared him. So no, T’Challa would not understand him just because they both wanted revenge. He would actually have a hard time coming to terms with putting the entire nation at risk for his own selfish reasons
He wanted revenge and put the whole nation at risk for it. Went to war against his own people and took many lives. He betrayed the throne he was supposed to be loyal to and betrayed his wife also. Had he won that battle and captured his wife he would’ve killed her because killmonger would want it too. He definitely is bad. When T’Challa went after Barnes thinking he was the one who killed his father, he didn’t bring Barnes to wakanda and made him king, he went out there and fought Barnes over there, no wakandan lives were lost and there were still plenty of Heart-Shaped herb to go around for many generations of kings to come. That’s what you do when you want revenge but you still are able to be mature enough to think about who your actions might affect. Had killmonger given him back his parents in exchange for the betrayal, that I can understand at least. But for a dead body? Why not just be satisfied the guy you wanted dead is dead and tell killmonger to fck off
Unfortunately every leader has it's shortcomings. No wonder in Black Panther 2, Killmonger told Shuri when she entered the ancestral plain that "TChalla was too noble, he didn't have the cajones"
Not every person has suffered the way he did so it's not so easy to understand his pain. He wanted revenge and we can understand that but in the end we also know that revenge doesn't solve anything.
It's not about solving anything. It's making sure that person can't hurt anyone else the same way. Resolution solves conflict, Vengeance is an effect of someone's actions.
as a king or any kind of leader, you have to weigh these things out. And W'kobi did not understand that. but if he'd did klaw right there it would have been no movie... maybe the argument of how the Wakandans think they are above the law
@@justinpigg1694 uh, yes. Wtf is the world gonna do about it??? Wakanda was and arguably still is the worlds most powerful technologically advanced nation. Besides, he was dealing with someone who had committed terroristic acts onto HIS people. What the rest of the world feels about it is irrelevant. That’s like assuming the rest of the world should have a problem if a country puts a foreign terrorist to death. A 30-year grudge can poison the soul and corrupt the moral judgement of even the most honorable warrior. That's always the problem living in an isolationist society, you fail to recognize the enemies from within your own borders some of which you have a hand in creating. Both the Wakandan and Inhuman societies suffered the consequences of their isolationist mentality, a mixture of life-threatening and even world ending consequences.
The betrayal is definitely understandable - they should've left that in. T'Challa might've been an awesome human being but even then, they still have flaws - still make mistakes.
They had to take that shit out. Dude was 1000% on point. It tipped the balance of the narrative too much in favor of a different one. Acting was great. He was a border tribesman of royal blood. Maybe he shoulda got the nod?
If this explained anything to you that you did not already understand from watching the movie, you probably have trouble believing that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west but still exists at night.
No, he's just hungry for revenge. As long as Klaue is dead it really shouldn't matter where he meets his end. W'kabi wants to basically do it himself though, and that really isn't any real reason to bring him back over what T'Challa did. It also doesn't make him less of a leader in any way. Imagine throwing your friend, king, and country under a bus because you can't see past your own vengeance.
