There is a detail that I noticed that I don't think is mentioned, which is when Peter is floating in space and dying, the music is the same as when Yondu died doing the same thing.

31:10 My favourite part that really touched me for Nebula's arc was when Rocket wakes up and says "Where's Nebula?"
I don’t think that Sean Gunn does not get enough credit for doing the motion capture of Rocket. Yes, Bradley Cooper is amazing as the voice of Rocket, but all of Rocket’s movement and emotional comes from Sean. Sean also said in a interview that he based a lot of Rocket’s movements and emotions off James because he saw a lot of James in Rocket.
There's a moment i really like when Rocket woke up and asked where Nebula was. Now that was likely due to him noticing her comms on the ship, but i like the idea that he views Nebula as a sister especially considering they only had each other for 5 years after Infinity War. You can even see Nebula's brief but emotional reaction to hearing Rocket's voice

Toward the change of heart of Adam. 2 factors that delayed the alignment of his character.
1. He still runs an immature personality and might have needed a bit of time to understand what he saw.
2. The planet was exploding but the direct blame of it was not linked to the High Evolutionary as of those moments.
Remember, his mental growth was stunted by his early release/escape from the cocoon.

Even if James Gunn did a project and decided to put his wife in the main role........Whats the big deal? James Gunn is a writer/director so if he was writing a script he would already be thinking of people he knows to do the roles

I like the theory that Rocket's intelligence is the result of him eating one of Ego's seedlings that he spread on Earth. That would make the bond between Rocket, Quill and Mantis even more special.
My favorite Guardian in the MCU is absolutely Rocket. I've gained new favorites in GotG Vol.3 too. Those new favorites are Lylla and Cosmo.
5 actors in this were in Peacemaker and The Suicide Squad. Danielle Melchior, Stallone, his brother, his wife, and High Evolutionary. Nobody complains about the brother in everything though.

James Gunn was going to kill off Gamora in vol 2, but was talked out of it by Kevin Feige. So he wasn't really handed "lemons" per se.

I noticed that guy from the New Rockstars video you guys reacted to wasn't really right about a couple things. He brought up something about Rocket and Lylla being really good friends, but no more than that. Lylla and Rocket were shown that they were lovers too.
Also, he said about there being a greater power or Rocket's conscience in terms of something Lylla said. It's neither of those things. Lylla was actually talking to Rocket in her spiritual form. I'd definitely like to see Lylla appear more like Yondu did as a spirit in the future.
there was nothing to show that they were lovers, they were still incredibly young when Rocket Escaped and they also couldn't physically touch much cause they were in different cages mate :|

They are not lovers in the movie, just close friends. In the comics they were lovers, in the movie there was no mention of them being lovers.

If it were bigger roles and/or she did a terrible job, I would agree with you. She’s a talented actress and has had good performances in the films she’s been in but I understand your point.

No one says she's not a good actress or that she wouldn't have gotten the roles anyway after a fair audition... but the point is, she's not really made to audition, She's just given the role. Which, I see as unfair to any actor or actress who might have had the role if not for the husband wife dynamic.
@Andy it's not something I need to get over. It's just a point of fairness. Just because something is the way it is, that doesn't mean it shouldn't change.
@Andy ps... I liken it to any other workplace scenario. If you worked with the bosses wife and you were just as talented at your job as she was, maybe even more so. But she got the promotion you both wanted, not because she was the better choice, but because she's your bosses wife, that would be unfair. Yes, she'll do the job well, but that's not the point, is it.
So, If he's directing and she wants a role. she should audition as normal, he should recuse himself from selecting the actress for that character and trust in his team to make the right choice, and if she happens to be the choice...that's fair.
She's taking small rolls from small time actors.

@@Awwad02 Quantumania, now this. First Marvel that's went way over the top Disney cartoon for me, won't chill it stinks. Marvel was always popcorn flicks, but still really looked forward to them. Now everything's return of the jedi with cute cute little critters they can sell toys of. Rocket and Groot were always kind of in that lane but it's getting yeesh.
@@gwildordipkin6504 Bruh Marvel always have cute characters. Especially in the comics! If you want hardcore action of Marvel, try reading the ultimate universe. It has great writing. Especially 2002 the ultimates. It's feels like Zack Synder wrote his version of the avengers.
