I’m a heavy runner for my height coming from a weightlifting background and love my squats. I’ve bottomed out infinity 2s twice at 250 and 300 miles respectively for most of my miles. I’ve been eyeballing these shoes due to how appalling they look but also the rigidity in the heel and their guidance. Long and slow runs is my middle name and need something to last

This was very helpful! Your review answered my questions. I bought the shoe and so far it works well for me. Rocker, firm heel, soft forefoot = nice recovery and long run shoe for me. Sets me up nicely for the peppy and light wt. speedwork and race day shoes.

Good review. Looking to buy this. Will look great as casual wear too. So, for the price, the value is terrific, for training as well as lifestyle use.

Now I'm not sure if I get the Adistar or the New Balance Vongo V5 .
I loved the 1080v11 but I wish it has a bit better stability or better heel rubber to survive my overpronationing.
But I hope this Adistar don't have the middlesole in the heel harder then what is in my Adios 6.
    Great video.

I am training using the Maffetone method for 2022 , it works very well for me. Very strong outsole and nice rocker. Bit tight in the toes but overall like very much (hate the look though). I don't heel strike much but when I do its the extreme outside of my feet (this will eat a corner of a softer shoe maxroad5's were down to the foam at the back corners after 130_ miles)

Have you seen the women’s colors? They look much better. If you like hot pink/orange red with pale blue stripes, it’s sweet- check it out.

So the hard heel/soft forefoot propulsion rocker not a workable concept?

I'd be interested if this shoe was the size of Noosa Tri 13 or similar
