Aside from being an adidas fanboy, i must admit that running have change my life 180. 5 years ago, my life was under super darkhole and i thought no one could help me and nothing could be positive in my life anymore. Until one day it was raining and i suddenly started to run hoping that no one could probably see me crying and screaming. Without knowing ive been running non stop for almost an hour and suprisingly the tiredness from that running suddenly making me smile again. Since then, ive been running everyday with the same shoes

20 years ago I was told I’d not run again following a knee op which was upsetting as I was sub 3 hour marathon at the time. During lockdown I saw people running in London and realised how much I missed it so restarted, slowly on a treadmill but after 4 months did a half marathon albeit not just as fast. Since then I have just worked harder and more often and will next year be 60 and plan to do a full marathon and Duathlon because I can……..Tech now is just so much more advanced than when I got injured and will allow me to do what the the doctors said was not possible, please let me try and prove them wrong again in a new pair of Adidas shoes 😊

I would definitely use Adizero Boston 10 to run Chicago marathon in October as I feel free and light running with those. I confess it is my second pair, and with no regrets! Absolutely great support for my long run while keeping your feet fresh. 💯% recommended❗️

I've been running for 8 years, so not a novice, but learning new things every day. The wiggle/ Adidas video was very helpfull. I've never ran in Adidas before, but now need a pair in my life. I will be looking for a new pair, ready for London marathon, as soon as pay day comes around.. keep up the good info 🤘

I’ve been running very casually for years, doing a few 5k runs per month. But I really got into it this year, actually following through with a New Years resolution and running my first half marathon in May. I loved race day, the atmosphere, the crowds, the excitement. But what I enjoyed even more was the journey, following a training plan, upping the mileage and pushing my limits each week. Noticing how I got fitter, that satisfying feeling when I realised my long run of the week was actually the longest I’d ever run, learning I could still have a good run even if I felt like crap at the start. All this made me fall in love with the sport, join a running club, do a couple more races and just keep on running. And, of course, I signed up for my first marathon at the end of November. I’ll be running it in San Sebastián in Spain and I think the Adios Pro 3 would be a very fitting shoe for the race. So I could say “adios” to all the competitors I leave behind. Like a pro 🤪

I am 19 years old and I started running about a year and a half ago. Before then I was heavily overweight and could barely run, without having a rest mid way. I then decided to change things up, so began to train and eventually fall in love with it. From this I lost 3 stone and got fitter and fitter. After lots of steady training I entered my first race, a hilly half marathon. As it transpired I won the race in a time of 1:13. Since then I have been running even more and entered lots of races over the last year. That’s why I would love to win the Adidas prime x, as I hope it can boost my performances further.

Been slowly building my running up and it’s really helps me start my day right with some fresh air and head space and likewise in the evenings or weekends I love getting out and forgetting about everything and just running to the sound of nature. Really helps calm my mind and bring peace after a busy day. Running I have is great for the social aspect meeting lots of like minded people all on different stages of their running journey.

I would definitely be going for the Adizero Adios 7's. The combination of training and race day performance makes this shoe the perfect all rounder for me. Trying to fit training and pleasure runs while studying medicine proves quite a squeeze but something I like to ensure I do to take my mind of studies. As such having a shoe that will perform while out on a short but tough training run while also giving a slight edge in parkruns is all I could ask for out of shoe. The Adizero Adios 7 is the epitome of this.

I’m 43 male and an average runner for keeping fit and competing in Triathlons throughout the year. For the last 10-15 years I have always gone towards buying Brooke’s (Neutral) but recently suffering from injuries with Calf and Achilles problems.
Maybe time for a change and get into a pair of “Glides”. I like the idea behind the support in this area and feel I could benefit.
    Best Regards Mark

Thanks for the comprehensive review, it was interesting and very useful to hear about all the shoes in the range. I have been running in the Adizero Boston for years now and have two pairs of the ones you reviewed, which I love and that I use for all my training and racing. I am unfortunately not in a position to buy a pair of the top end ones for race day as they are just too much of a luxury when I have a family to support and prioritise but a pair of the Adios Pro 3 or the Prime X would be amazing and I am sure they would give me that elusive PB I am after!

Thank you for a comprehensive intro to the full range of Adidas running shoes! I love to run, and have finished 2 marathons so far, that's despite having 17 fractures in my legs, from motorcycle accidents - Doctors said I may never walk again, hence I'm very grateful for every run! My choice from the range would be the Adios Pro 3, as it is the most stable of the super shoes, and my injured legs need all the cushion they can get and the help of the rods. Fingers crossed 🤞

I started long distance running with Adidas in the year 2010. Later switched over to Nike for comfort and light weight. For last two years doing lots of road running alternatively with Nike, ASICS and Brooks regularly. Have recommended to many amateur runners Asics and Brooks. I was unaware of the comfortness, responsiveness and lightweight shoes in Adidas. I will try for my spouse the Ultraboost 22, who is planning to start running again after a gap of one year. Nicely explained the features of all 5 shoes, wanted to have one for me and one for my spouse.

I would choose a pair of Adistar & Ultra boost. Lockdown prevented my original plans to celebrate my 60tj birthday. I decided to start running, completed my first ever half marathon at 60 years of age. Diagnosed with Addisons in 2018 I run to promote my mental health, to feel in touch with the outdoors and to inspire others. I run with friends and anyone else who wishes to join us. So difficult to decide especially for new race running folks, this overview was a professional overview of the line for running from Adidas with the only commission being the Takumi which seems to fall somewhere between the Pro and the Adios and is also Adizero Lightstrike. I currently have the ADIOS 7 and will say it's stack height is quite good for getting into a cadence for PB pace. The Boston has changed design to meet with the Lightstrike lineup and I had previous version and it was quite a nice go-to choice for the training and confidence in the stride and road feeling. The RC has almost no cushion to speak of but provided stability for sure. I'm not sure I'm at the level necessary for the Pro ride, though I think I would be willing to try it out for myself. The X is the stratosphere of shoe technology, and it doesn't sound like the right one for most runners except for the very elite athletic experienced amateur competitive level running

I've been running for almost 12 months and like many have fallen in love with RUNNING! I've travelled from Obese to healthy weight and run 5K, 10K, Trails, half Marathons and entered my first two marathons this October! But enough about me... I recently raised money for charity running the Great North Run (I paid for my own entry) in memory of my younger brother Glynn who died suddenly at age 46 of a Cardiac Arrest - just before the first UK Covid lockdown... I've also been chatting with friends and posting updates on Facebook about my running progress - it's had a positive effect on many of them, I'm always being told what an inspiration I am (although I find that hard to believe). I know a few of them have started running cause I'm always getting asked questions about kit, training, running form, injuries - (you would think I'd been running for years)... I'd absolutely love to own a pair of Adidas road running shoes to help me smash some of the PB's I've achieved this year - unfortunately I hardly ever win anything but if I could win a pair, it would be the Boston... Fingers crossed...

This year I helped a friend run their first half marathon (Great North Run) at aged 61. The original plan was to run last year (2021) in the 40th anniversary race in her 60th year, but COVID got her 6 weeks out and she had to abandon all plans as even 5k would have been a struggle. Well not to be deterred, over winter she got some strength back and was able to squeeze out a 5km or two, before I took her out again in the spring time.
I'm no running coach nor a serious runner but I can drag people along knowing on good day I can just about manage a sub-2hr half marathon. So 5km became 8km, then 10k till it was every Sunday morning being 10km plus. On the shorter runs I really pushed her pace wise were she felt we'd put in real effort. Come ran day she started way back as she expected to come in at the 2:30 mark and was average time for a female beginner over 60. Unfortunately her legs didn't get the memo as she ran the race at our normal tough training day causing to bemoan all these slower runners as she weaved her way through the crowd.
After putting in a sprint finish, no joke she threw herself into the last 200m, hoping for a time under 2:30 was absolutely elated to find out her official time was just over 2:02. With that time it put her amongst the elite for her age group in fact in the top 75 for that GNR. As you can imagine she's all in on the running now so not only do I need to raise my game as I'm going to be holding her back pace wise soon, and I'm nearly a decade younger, I have no choice but to use every bit of kit that can keep me one step ahead. For me those Solar Boost might just be enough to help me keep marginally quicker on those longer runs for a little while longer. They may actually be my only hope....

I've been eyeing off the Adios 7 for a bit now as I really need a tempo shoe that can also be used for track and intervals. Money is tight (was laid off a few months ago) so this would be huge as running has literally saved my mental health! 👍

AdiZero Prime X. I was supposed to run a 100 mile ultra marathon but fractured my shoulder 2 weeks before the race. These shoes would help me with my new goal to smash my marathon PR as soon as I’m healed. I’ve never run in carbon shoes so I’m sure these are just what I need to accomplish that goal.

Love to win any of the pairs of shoes. Ive been running for 10 years now as my main form of fitness (gym goer and kick boxer before that). I got started when I started working for a geological firm in Leeds and Ive not looked back. Running has saved me over the various lock downs and working from home, both mentally and physically. Ive done just over half marathon distance in a race and am looking to push further. I pronate slightly but have always struggled to find shoes that fit well. The Solarglide look the ones for me. Running also saved my dad. We turned him from a 50 year old smoker to a multiple marathon runner, still going strong at 76. Running over 300 park runs.

I’m relatively new to running and had some big challenges already this year doing a duathlon and triathlon. I’m doing oulton park half marathon in November and would be great to try out these trainers to hopefully give me a fighting chance of surviving the run 😂🥵

I was a smoker until 6 years ago, also asthmatic. I started a new journey this February, when my friend asked if I fancied doing a half marathon. My 1st run lasted 1.5miles! Since then I have done 2 half marathons. My recent one, the ABP Humber Coastal 1hr 48mins. I’m 52, so I was chuffed to bits. My asthma is nearly non existent now. I ran in the adidas solar glide 3. My next pair will be the ultra boost range.

I need to win those Adistars because I'm heavy and slow 😆 Feel like they'll be perfect to get me through my first Marathon distance run - the virtual NY at the end of October. Either way, thanks for breaking down the range for all of us 👍👌

I'm not that new to running, as I've completed a few half marathons and my first marathon last year. Unfortunately I broke my toe after last Xmas so haven't been able to run for months. I would love to get back into it as it is what I found helped with my mental health. The ultraboost would be the perfect shoes to win for me. Start off slowly poddling and get back into my 'meditation' 💖

That's a great roundup, I'm a triathlon / runner who has used Adidas for years as I don't tend to have any problems with them. Would love a pair of the Adizero adios Pros (assuming they have enough stability) as I could never really justify buying them otherwise!

The Ultra boost 22. This time last year I would never have imagined I’d become a runner. I’m now running regular 5kms. The Ultra Boost 22 sounds like it’s designed for me personally! Looks casual, but is actually a runner, female focused, not a beginner but by no means professional. Would love to pull my socks (aka ultra boost 22s) up, stick on Paulo Nutini’s New Shows and get an awesome PB

I started out running in Adidas Comfort, then Duramo. When I decided to start training for a marathon, I switched to Hoka Arahis and spent two years plagued with calf injuries. They completely changed the shoe this year so I switched again to Saucony Guide. Now the calf issues have been replaced by constant achilles soreness. So I still haven’t managed to get up to marathon distance after 3 years of trying! I would love to bin them but don’t want to waste the money I’ve spent so it would be great to win and switch back to an Adidas shoe. I need something supportive and well cushioned for long training runs on uneven pavements so I’d be interested in trying the Solar Glide or Adizero Boston. Maybe then, I would actually make it to a marathon:)

Adios pro for me! I’m an intermediate runner looking to knock some seconds off my pbs but primarily have heavier support shoes currently. Would love to try something a bit lighter with a high energy return, and it seems slightly less stacked that the prime x 😅. Thank you, keep smashing it everyone 😀
