This is almost exactly what I was about to post. I love the Takumi Sen 8 for racing/track work, and I think the Adios is a more comfortable, versatile (albeit fast and minimal) daily trainer. They go well together in my rotation.

I really like the adios 6 that I am currently using for all my workouts. It is slowly reaching it's lifespan so I will be buying 8 as soon as they get discounted. I would love Takumi but I don't really like to do workouts in carbon so Adios 8 seems like a perfect fit. What I love the most in Adios is what you mentioned, that immidiate feedback when your form degrades so you need to constantly remind yourself to run properly.

Those rods aren’t CP but another more flexible substance. Regardless I agree with your point. I want to save my TS8s for my races and with their thin (though evidently quite durable) outsoles, I don’t want to squander the more pricey shoe on training. Though at the frequent sale prices I’ll still opt for the TS!

I haven't been too happy with Nike vaporfly on the marathon. I did my best ones in adios boost 1-4. Maybe the 8 will be good. Other than nike or adios Ive been happy with saucony endorphin speed 2. Im a 2:40-45-runner. On 1/2 marathon the vaporfly is excellent.
Adios 8 and Takumi Sen might look the same but they are in two different price category. Also, the fit and intended use case is different too. It's nice to have options and Adidas offers premium foam at that price range whereas other shoe brands like asics don't even consider using a drop of premium foam on their so called 'speed trainers' (I'm looking at you magic speed). Not to mention they even charge way more than Adidas does which is absolute insanity. I don't know about Boston 12 but Adios 8 is certainly a big hit. The only shoe that can contest the Adios 8 in this price range probably the Liberate Nitro 2 from Puma.
The adios 7 discounts under $50 though. While the current situation is inverted because the adios 8 is just released, I don’t expect it to stay that way.
I use the Adios 7 for speed-work and racing (got a HM PR this year in them), but the one thing I really do not like is how narrow it is in the midfoot. It causes my arches to rub against the plasticy fabric and I get blisters, so now I tape my foot whenever I wear them. I've heard the Adios 8 alleviates these concerns so I'm kinda intrigued. Then again, I got my 7s for $75 thanks to Adidas' random pricing.
@@io-rj6sk for me the adios 8 improves a lot on this and almost no blisters while running on the flat road. However it still has chance to cause blisters near the arch while running the hills. I used runner's knot and not sure if my foot are still not locked in the shoes properly. I've used it for 300+ kms and overall I still enjoy my adios 8 on the flat road.
Like you, I'm a huge fan of the of the Takumi Sen 8 and look forward to picking up the 9 at some point. I also picked up a good as new pair of Adios 6 for a steal on Vinted. The A8 looks to have similar DNA to the 6 and 7. I do a lot of my regular running in the Adios now, maybe it's my age but I don't find it too low to the ground for daily runs, even long runs. I do go up tempo, particularly when I want the training effect without the energy rods of the Takumi Sen and a bit more room in the toe. So I guess it goes to show, there's crossovers for different people in different shoes.
Picked up a pair of these last week and enjoyed the first 800m interval session I did with them. But then I took them out for a 22k training run at marathon pace and they actually felt great throughout the run-sufficient padding to feel comfortable for half marathon distance and the light weight helps prevent my feet from feeling too heavy later in the run. So now I’m actually considering using them for racing my half marathon next month. The only concern was that I already saw noticeable creasing in the foam after just 30km in them, so hope they hold up alright. Maybe it’s because I’m a heavier runner coming in around 88kgs
When I started running I had a couple of pairs of the Adios 3 then a pair of Adios 4s which I enjoyed right up until the point where I discovered shoes with more cushioning and I moved away from Adidas for a while. Nowadays I’m firmly back in the Adidas camp but I do all of my running in the Adios Pro 3 or Prime X’s (I’m not a fast runner but both work for me). It’s good to see that Adidas have kept the Adios 8 true to what it always was (unlike sometimes where a name just gets re-used but the product changes beyond recognition) but my days of running in shoes of it’s like are over
Bought Takumi Sen 9, Adios can stop existing, no regrets, even though I had to pairs of v3 or 4, that I even managed to run a full marathon in. One upside, Adios with boost lasted for wll over 1k miles :)
i have an adios 5 pair and use it this year together with modern shoes and they feel so much that they belong in the past. It was once cool to have a pair of extra light shoes with very thin sole, but these days with all those light supershoes with thick foams and rods, fast running is much more fun and your muscles are very protected. I m glad though that these types of shoes still exist, it could be good to feel the load on your body every now and then. Still, I would not buy them anymore
Despite popular opinion/reviews, the Adios 6/7 (forgot which one I had) never worked for me. Maybe it was the midsole materials, the wedged LSP, the geometry, or the combination of those factors. It felt harsh and clunky and gave me pain physically as well as mentally every time I took them for a run, four times in total. Given the miserable experience, the moment I saw the Adios 8 I knew immediately this is gonna be a major improvement and a shoe I definitely want to try. The midsole looks so much more streamlined and fluid, the forefoot LSP is a whole slab in stead of a wedge, lightstrike 2 has been tuned to be softer, super lightweight upper and the price? Man I'm excited to say the least.
@@io-rj6sk hate to say it but still disappointed. In part due to the outrageous sizing of it. The adios 8 runs very large, combined with the incredibly roomy toe box, my size 9 felt like a 10, even 10.5. When the sizing is off like this my feet simply weren't in the correct position within the shoe so couldn't take full advantage of the LSP. And while the LSP is a full slab here instead of a wedge like in the previous version, it felt better, but still on the firm side. Like, I've been wearing the adios pro 2 and the prime x, the LSP on those felt much better than the adios 8. However for a racing flat kinda shoe I think it's plenty good enough. After all I think the adios 8 should've been a great shoe for me but Adidas's sizing has been all over the place this year. What a missed opportunity. I strongly suggest you try them in store to get the sizing right, especially if you've got skinny feet.
@@Dwyane1st why didnt u return for smaller size? so i dunno if u have these shoes but i have the new balance rebel v3 in US 10 and nb 880v13 in US 10.5 if u think it was a full size/size and a half bigger, could i b a size 9 or 9.5 in the adios?
@@io-rj6sk couldn't be bothered😂 so I also have the rebel v3 and I absolutely love it. I got them in size 9 as well, but they're definitely on the snug side for me and I've got pretty standard feet, not wide, not too skinny. I mean if I put on some 'more cushioned' socks it can get pretty snug, especially in the toe. I'd always reference Nike's sizing cuz they're usually consistent and accurate. I'm a pretty spot on Nike size 9, or 270mm foot length. So if you're trying to get these, I'd say try them on first😂 but if you couldn't, depends on how you feel in the rebels and your foot shape. If you feel very comfortable, not snug in any way, chances are you haven't got very meaty/wide feet, so a 9 probably would be ok for you length wise. If not and you've got wide or meaty feet, a 9 would probably also work for you because of the roomy toe box. A 9.5 would be for extreme cases. With all that said, it's purely based on my personal experience and you should really try them on first, especially when the sizing is all over the place😂
Yep, you nailed it. Using a Comic analogy, in the Adidas "multi-Universe" some of their legacy shoes suddenly "branched out" and morphed into a "variant" or a deviation with some experimental features, etc. The most prominent examples are the "Boston 10" abomination, the SL experimentation, & the Adizero Adios 6 that many of us considered the real "Boston". So to your point, while I loved the new Adizero Adios 6 & 7, once the Takumi came out and fell in love with it, I asked myself the same question: Why Adios when Takumi is awesome & performs/feels much better? Too many confusing choices from the Adidas lineup
the A8 is a throwback to the pre super shoe era. it reminds me of the adios made with boost. i use it for easy-moderate daily miles, despite how the shoe is marketed and positioned, and love the feedback it gives. i'm lanky and lightweight which probably helps. there are not many shoes like the A8 out right now, and if it disappeared, the running shoe market would be lesser for it. (very excited to see there's an adios 9 in the works.)
It exists because it is fking good!! It is the most underrated shoe on the market! Criminally underrated!! Fast and furious!! Comfortable after a few miles... absolute winner!!!!
It may feel the same niche but imho Adios 8 is clearly the TS9 trainer. It has thicker outsole. It has more midsole material delivering a little more stability. It should last much longer then TS9. Seems Adidas thinks performance runners splited at 5k - 10k and 21k or more (Boston and Adios Pro).
It makes sense to me in theory. But I just have a hard time envisioning someone putting both the TS9 and the Adios 8 in the same rotation. Like, how many 400m repeats are you doing that you can’t do your sessions and race 5ks in the same shoe?
Hey @Kofuzi I just did my first run at Boston 12 and... it's another beast from B11 (I have 200k at it). It's Lightstrike 2.0 is much softer then the B11's Lightstrike. I have uses for both of them. I'm heavy, so too soft midsole means max compressing (specially when heel striking), and then a bit firmer midsoles work good to me. And B11 has a bit more structure and stability then B12. I know lots of people hates B10 and B11, but even with softer B12 I'll keep rotating with B11. You should definitely check B12.
5 days later I wonder... will Adidas dare to put Lightstrike 2.0 at Adidas SL (which has a LS Pro in a front foot poket )? That would be something.... Or maybe keep SL harder and as a more brickish memory of B10 and B11 directions .. who knows? 💪🇧🇷😁
Given its price point, and inevitably when it goes on sale, the Adios 8 would be a great shoe to recommend to middle and high school track athletes. It might also work for cross country depending on the type of course.
Couldn’t agree more. I had a long section on how it would be good for younger athletes who are not buying multiple shoes per season (and who are also likely not putting in 40 or 50 mile weeks)
I like the adios 6/7 quite a bit but it is a little over-firm in the rear which is an issue on long strep downhill. It’s pretty comfortable at all paces and I’m not super fast or anything. The Takumi Sen 8 is much less stable and requires more ankle strength to stabilize. I have size 13 feet and the shoe weight can be really significant and scale weirdly at my size. The Boston 10 was 375g for example but an Adios 7 is 266g. A 100g weight swing is huge. Anything over 300g is really a lot less fun to strap on and run in. (But a Boston 10/11 is very stiff which is great for if you have to heal a fractured foot.) My all time favorite road shoe was the Nike Streak 6/7. The Adios 6/7 has been ok but not as versatile as the Streak was. I think the Adios 8 may hit the sweet spot for me - which probably means Adidas will cancel it.
I ran Boston 2019 in the boost version of thr adios and I loved it. I picked up the Adios 6 or 7 on steep discount and hated it. Possibly it was the 6 but it was slappy sounding, the ride just felt off. Like it should feel faster but instead felt clunky. Maybe they've fixed that but I was not a fan of it. I do love thr Adios Pro 3 though!
the adios series is perfect for me because i dont like training in carbon, whether its a plate or rods. a low to the ground, non-carbon shoe i can bring to the track for 200/400m intervals all the way to miles at threshold is perfect. for reference, i've been using the NB 1400v6 for years now
I do have an adizero SL and it's nice to see it would pair well with it. Honestly the only thing the SLs don't do for me is helping in the longer runs, I just got a Invincible run 3 for that so when I need a racing show I'll probably try the Adios 8
Great point on the “sensory data” comment. That is one of the reasons I love this shoe. Such a good training shoe due to that. The Adios 8 becomes such a good complement to the Adios Pro 3 now as well.
Adios 6 was the only shoe that i could buy in my area that kind of fits my super long big toe, so i'm interested again in this version. I would like that you review shoes with foot shape toe box.
Upper and fit is way better than the vaporfly next 2. more comfortable and stable as well. Lower to the ground but the rocker geometry is not aggressive making it feel like you have more stack up front in the last phase of the toe off. Being a high cadence mid/forefoot runner, I don’t mind the low( old school ) stack height.
Hi Ko, waiting for your review on the boston 12! planning to add the boston to my adios pro3 rotation. but not sure if boston 12 can be a good daily trainers
Always itching to buy the Adios, but can't find a spot for them in my rotation. I use the Boston for training, Takumi Sen for Tempo work as well as 5k,10k,21k racing, and Adios P3 for Marathon and ultras. In my opinion the Takumi can do everything that this shoe can?
Adios 6 was great, very comfortable, and a great fit for me (wide). 7&8 are lighter so not as comfortable. 7 is slightly narrower, with a wide option. I’ve stopped using Boston’s as I don’t want that much stack.
The Adios 7 is so much more comfortable and faster then my Adizero SL that it can replace my need to have a Pegasus, Velocity Nitro or like a quicker shoes frombrands like NB or Saucony. The LiteStrike Pro is so much better then other middlesoles that even a low stack Adios 7 is much faster and comfortable then other middlesole compounds with a higher stack height. Can't wait to get my hands on the Adios 8 and would also consider getting in a Black Friday promotion the Takumi Sen 9 later this year .
I worked my way through four pairs of the Adizero Pro, the best shoe I ever ran in, use for everything from the beer mile to 50k, and then they retired the whole line. It's still not clear to me which shoe from the current adidas lineup was supposed to replace it. Now trying the Asics Metaspeed instead.
The shoe is not for me. The back of my left foot feels painful as there is practically no cushioning at all, I can barely take them to run 5k. Not a real racing shoe such as earlier world record breaking adios, I would say it's more of a tempo running shoe. It could make a case with a bit more cushioning.
Great video! You mention the aero glide at the end saying it’s a bit firmer… would you say that is relatively similar to the hyperion max? Another slightly firmer long run shoe?
that's a really good comparison. it doesn't quite have that nitro bounce to it, but I think someone who likes the hyperion max might enjoy the Aeroglide as a long run shoe
I have use adios 7 till 325km, its the lightest and propulsive shoe ever I wear...its make me feel fast tbh...at 325km also, the durability of the outsole make me impressed, only a lil bit of wear and tear tbh
Thanks for this in depth review. Just getting into running to get into shape and maybe pick running up as a hobby. I picked these shoes up at my local adidas outlet for $45. I think I’ll get my money worth from these shoes. What would be your thoughts on a next shoe to move up from these as a novice runner. Thanks, Sean
Great review, I would be sad if the adios racers are no longer made. I have ulitized this silhouette from the adidas line for years and love to train in them. And that's due to my ususal 5 k - 10 k 's. However I am still intrigued to try the takumi sen, and may lean that way for my next pair.
I really just feel like they should switch the name tags for the takumi sen and adios and then eliminate the takumi sen but I suppose if they are selling enough units to justify each, so much the better for runners and the business
Hi, ive been using the asics noosa tri 15 for a while now and am looking for an alternative speedy shoe for 5ks. Would you recommend this shoe for it? Thanks
I already have the boston 12, does jt make sense to buy this also since im seeing it for sale. Planning to get it as a race day shoe for 5k to 10k events. Ill appreciate a reply
The shoe is a great shoe for fast training sessions but the net on the shoes breaks too quickly. I had the Adizero 8 and Takumi Sen 9/10 and the net broke relatively quickly on both of them. Any1 got the same Problem?
Could be interesting with an video on, how your current rotation right now would look, if you didnt have to review new shoes. So imagine you got 3 months of training, what would your rotation look like, e.g. a recovery and or slow, a tempo, a race, and at least one trail shoe.

Thought for sure I would get these, but now the Takumi Sen 8s are even cheaper and widely available. Probably smartest to let the price on these drop first.
I think if they wanted to be a daily trainer and be different enough should have a bit of boost to be more forgiving and because it isn't a race wouldn't be that bad having a bit more of weight
really love the old adios 4 boost, and like the adios 7...but the upper was trash, it only lasted 300km. Really don´t know if i will trust again in those uppers, same with the boston 11.
Adios is too much of a compromise now. The shoe still looks great and is often found at great prices, but unless my only goal is to save money then I can always find a better (softer and/or faster) shoe out there for my needs.
I think the shoe doesn't make sense if the shoe doesn't immediately jump out at you as being exactly what you need. there's a very small number of those people showing up in the comments, but most people seem to think of this shoe as a compromise shoe
It's easy, not everyone can afford a takumi sen or an adios pro, additionally there is a market for more minimalist shoes, there are some who do not tolerate height or cannot use them,

I actually keep the Adios⁴ and use them for off-road Park Runs and forest shorts.
I don't like them, I ❤ Adios
Man I'm excited to say the least.
howd it go?
@@Dwyane1st why didnt u return for smaller size?
so i dunno if u have these shoes but i have the new balance rebel v3 in US 10 and nb 880v13 in US 10.5
if u think it was a full size/size and a half bigger, could i b a size 9 or 9.5 in the adios?
I like the multiverse reference here
the A8 is a throwback to the pre super shoe era. it reminds me of the adios made with boost. i use it for easy-moderate daily miles, despite how the shoe is marketed and positioned, and love the feedback it gives. i'm lanky and lightweight which probably helps. there are not many shoes like the A8 out right now, and if it disappeared, the running shoe market would be lesser for it. (very excited to see there's an adios 9 in the works.)
you wouldn't go for a takumi sen if the Adios went away?
A8s i use for daily miles but doing that in the takumis would shatter my feet @@kofuzi haha! i am unfortunately not the takumis cinderella.
But I cut the section out for brevity.
(But a Boston 10/11 is very stiff which is great for if you have to heal a fractured foot.)
My all time favorite road shoe was the Nike Streak 6/7. The Adios 6/7 has been ok but not as versatile as the Streak was. I think the Adios 8 may hit the sweet spot for me - which probably means Adidas will cancel it.
howd the adios 8's go?
I ran Boston 2019 in the boost version of thr adios and I loved it. I picked up the Adios 6 or 7 on steep discount and hated it. Possibly it was the 6 but it was slappy sounding, the ride just felt off. Like it should feel faster but instead felt clunky. Maybe they've fixed that but I was not a fan of it. I do love thr Adios Pro 3 though!
I run the Adios in its wide version because the Takumi Sen is too narrow for my foot.
nice
the adios series is perfect for me because i dont like training in carbon, whether its a plate or rods. a low to the ground, non-carbon shoe i can bring to the track for 200/400m intervals all the way to miles at threshold is perfect. for reference, i've been using the NB 1400v6 for years now
Takumi Sen is the best shoe I've ever run in. I use the Adios for treadmill in the winter.
110% this. The Adios 6 has proven to be my best treadmill trainer shoe.
I do have an adizero SL and it's nice to see it would pair well with it. Honestly the only thing the SLs don't do for me is helping in the longer runs, I just got a Invincible run 3 for that so when I need a racing show I'll probably try the Adios 8
Is a review of the Nike Pegasus 40 planned?
Yes
Really loved the intro Michael. Great content as always! ❤
Thanks!
I think people who can run in an Adios as a daily trainer are built different. Or maybe they are sprinters
Hi kofuzi ; I am leaning towards the new adidas Boston 12 as a trainer for the adios pro 3 (soon to be a 4?) , will you be reviewing that one ?
not sure, but it is likely
If they slapped the outsole from the Speed Ultra on this shoe it’d be one of the best trail shoes of all time
I worked my way through four pairs of the Adizero Pro, the best shoe I ever ran in, use for everything from the beer mile to 50k, and then they retired the whole line. It's still not clear to me which shoe from the current adidas lineup was supposed to replace it. Now trying the Asics Metaspeed instead.
The Adizero Pro had the most confusing product name. And it was announced around the same time as the Adizero Adios Pro
@kofuzi Oh, for sure, but it was a great shoe that could do it all (at least for me).
The shoe is not for me. The back of my left foot feels painful as there is practically no cushioning at all, I can barely take them to run 5k. Not a real racing shoe such as earlier world record breaking adios, I would say it's more of a tempo running shoe. It could make a case with a bit more cushioning.
i have mix feelings about that chicken wire upper, does it allow small debris/dirt to enter the shoe?
No
I'm looking forward to trying the Adios 8 as I'm battling to race in carbon plated shoes. I find carbon plated shoes don't suit my biomechanics.
I just review Adidas RC 5, kinda confius when seing this Adios. As usual, great review Kofuzi
That is a shoe that is even more difficult for me to understand
Great video! You mention the aero glide at the end saying it’s a bit firmer… would you say that is relatively similar to the hyperion max? Another slightly firmer long run shoe?
that's a really good comparison. it doesn't quite have that nitro bounce to it, but I think someone who likes the hyperion max might enjoy the Aeroglide as a long run shoe
I have use adios 7 till 325km, its the lightest and propulsive shoe ever I wear...its make me feel fast tbh...at 325km also, the durability of the outsole make me impressed, only a lil bit of wear and tear tbh
I just picked this shoe up at sale for $54USD. Excited to take them for a spin during my 10K pb attempt this weekend
Very interesting
What's a good option for heavy runner, walk/run +- 7km slow pace per workout. Wide feet. Neutral shoe. Just started to run again
How about 1080v12? I believe it comes in a wide.
I actually have the combo of salomon aero glide and adidas adios 6 from last year and use them in the exact same way. Great review.
nice!
I think this series replaces the old Boston range (9 and below), which were one of my favourites.
I keep hoping that the Boston (12) will replace the Boston (9 and below)
I tried the Adios 8. It lack bounce and the sole felt very rigid. It made me feel flat footed. So settled for the Boston 12 instead. 😊
glad you found something that works for you!
Thanks,
Sean
Someone mentioned the Ascis Hyperspeed as an alternative to the Adios 8. I would be interested to see a comparison if you’ve tried it
I’ve not tried the hyperspeed
Great review, I would be sad if the adios racers are no longer made. I have ulitized this silhouette from the adidas line for years and love to train in them. And that's due to my ususal 5 k - 10 k 's. However I am still intrigued to try the takumi sen, and may lean that way for my next pair.
I really just feel like they should switch the name tags for the takumi sen and adios and then eliminate the takumi sen
but I suppose if they are selling enough units to justify each, so much the better for runners and the business
hoping this is just a slightly softer adios 6...just from looks it kinda seems like they reduced the amount of ls pro?
I don't have the Adios 6 anymore to compare directly
@@kofuzi thats cool your review made me optimistic anyways
I love that Adidas still makes a workout shoe for those who don’t always want carbon in their shoes
definitely a consideration.
but the Takumi Sen doesn't have carbon in it. (it has Energy Rods that are not carbon fiber)
Hi, ive been using the asics noosa tri 15 for a while now and am looking for an alternative speedy shoe for 5ks. Would you recommend this shoe for it? Thanks
Crazy Eddy clip was awesome. Prices are insane!!
and the commercials are the least incredible part of his life story
@@kofuzi couldn’t agree more. NYC metro kids from the 80s will know.
I already have the boston 12, does jt make sense to buy this also since im seeing it for sale. Planning to get it as a race day shoe for 5k to 10k events. Ill appreciate a reply
yes
Adios 8 or Asics speed 3 ?? Which one would you choose for a fast parkrun everyone?
@kofuzi what would you say that the successor to the Adidas Boston 9 would be? (doesn't have to be an adidas shoe)
It’s a great question. The Boston 9 may have reached legend status where no shoe can really continue the legacy
The shoe is a great shoe for fast training sessions but the net on the shoes breaks too quickly. I had the Adizero 8 and Takumi Sen 9/10 and the net broke relatively quickly on both of them. Any1 got the same Problem?
Would this be a good shoe for someone who has a wider foot and is a heavier set Individual?
after running in the adios 8, would you think that the boston 12 could work now with a similar lightstrike 2.0 update?
I haven’t tried the 12
How would you compare this to the 7?
Could be interesting with an video on, how your current rotation right now would look, if you didnt have to review new shoes. So imagine you got 3 months of training, what would your rotation look like, e.g. a recovery and or slow, a tempo, a race, and at least one trail shoe.
Take the top of each of these

Do you intend to try Boston 12? Want to know your opinion about it and compare with Sen 9
it is on my list. I don't plan on getting to it immediately, however
when it comes to speed and comfort, is this one better than the nike peg? and isn't version 9 out now?
A1. Speed and comfort are typically opposite ends of the spectrum so it’s difficult to answer this question as it combines the two categories.
A2. No
@ so which one feels faster, this shoe or the last peg u reviewed? And one could be faster while the other could be more comfortable
Hey, I d like to know the best shoes (for under 100-120€) for daily running. I have wide, high arch and underpronation (supination) feet. What would u recommend ? I ve seen That the 1080v12 or 860v13 would be à good choice.

Does the Adios 8 compete with the Puma Liberate Nitro 2? Any plans to review that one?
Love your editing.
A1. Yes
A2. No
On another note: Nice Katt Williams hairdo 😁👍🏻
It was up in a bun all day and then I took it out for the video. It was unruly
Thought for sure I would get these, but now the Takumi Sen 8s are even cheaper and widely available. Probably smartest to let the price on these drop first.
really like your explanation on runner demography in minutes 7. your talk just feel very real it seems that u are the one on Adidas BusDev Team 😂
Thank you
what are your daily runners? thoughts on Nike Pegasus 40
Review coming shortly
May I ask what kind of camera you are using while running?
GoPro
i'm heavy, should i use those lightweight tempo shoe (adios 8, rebel v3, streakfly, etc)
I think you could probably answer that better than I could
What you would reccomend for a when it raining only shoe?
The more important question is what kind of run is it. Then, only if the relevant shoe is contraindicated would I change.
Are you testing the boston 12?
I think eventually. I didn't want to, but there have been many requests
I think if they wanted to be a daily trainer and be different enough should have a bit of boost to be more forgiving and because it isn't a race wouldn't be that bad having a bit more of weight
It had boost years ago. People complained
really love the old adios 4 boost, and like the adios 7...but the upper was trash, it only lasted 300km. Really don´t know if i will trust again in those uppers, same with the boston 11.
Nice video Ko
Another comparison... kinvara?
My new adios7 for 2-3months, both shoes ripped near my thumb area 😢
I'm not sure I understand this comment
Non adios related, what green tee is that your wearing in the vid?looks cool, wldnt mind getting me one!😎

Hey Mike, I have a 10K coming up: My choices: Adios 8, Cyclone 2, Takumi Sen 7, NB RC Elite v1. Thoughts? Thank you
tbh, all of those would be fun. dealers choice
@@kofuzi Thx Mike, as always. :-)
Is the insole glued down?
@@user-mx5pq1xo8j thank you :)
looking at the outsoles, I'd say the Takumi Sen will last half the time of the adios.
Hey do you think it’s a better shoe than Brooks Hyperion max ?
Is this applicable for daily training shoes?
I think maybe for sprinters
Adios is too much of a compromise now. The shoe still looks great and is often found at great prices, but unless my only goal is to save money then I can always find a better (softer and/or faster) shoe out there for my needs.
I think the shoe doesn't make sense if the shoe doesn't immediately jump out at you as being exactly what you need. there's a very small number of those people showing up in the comments, but most people seem to think of this shoe as a compromise shoe
With the TS 9 discounted, its a no brainer to me. TS all the way.
I mean, that’s how I see it
We need more low stack shoes. A good alternative is the Strikefly
SICK editing on that intro
Thank you 🙏
It's easy, not everyone can afford a takumi sen or an adios pro, additionally there is a market for more minimalist shoes, there are some who do not tolerate height or cannot use them,
But the Takumi Sen is cheaper right now
Somebody answer me,what difference between takumi sen, adios, adios pro and boston?
to oversimplify:
takumi sen: 5k/10 racing
adios pro: marathon racing
Boston: workouts
none of them are supposed to be used as an every day shoe
@@kofuzi thanks
