Adidas Adistar has arrived and it is your new lang distance trainer of 2022. Check out our review of the Adidas Adistar in the video above.
The Adidas Adistar has a cage fit in the upper, and two types of foam in the midsole. Repetitor and Repetitor+. One is softer than the other, and it makes for a very good running experience. It has a max cushioned running sensation.
If you don't know what Adidas running sneaker to go for then this video will help you out.
The Adistar is one of the best cushioned running shoes from Adidas and will be great for heavy runners who want something for their daily miles. If you are in search of a long-distance trainer, then this is also a great option, even if you are a lighter runner.

Thank you for this video. Good analysis!
Great information. Thanks for the review!
Thank you ! Will u review the Takumi Sen 8?
Hey,
We will definitely be reviewing the Takumi Sen 8., We can't wait!
Lars
I was hoping this shoe would have the lightstrike midesole... The upper and outsole look great!
Im looking forward to giving this shoe a try. Its good to see Adidas coming up with some new foams (lightstrike, lightstrike pro and now this) and getting away from boost although I do love the softness of it. Id be curious how this shoe compares to the solar boost.
I would be interested in this comparison too (or compare to the Solar Glide). I've really enjoyed the Solar Glide 19 for my daily runs and long runs. I just retired a pair that had over 750 miles in them! The boost material is very good IMO.
Hey Andreas.
The adistar will have more foam and be taller. You will feel closer to the ground in the Solar boost. And then it is the Adistars rocker shape that also makes it have a different running experience.

@@RunningXpert The only complaint Ive had against the Solar Boost line has been that for a cushioned shoe the forefoot feels a bit thin. So maybe the Adistar is the say to go? Thanks
How do these feel as a casual shoe or just for walking? Thanks for the review!
Would you go with this Adistar instead the Ultraboost 22 for long and slow runs ?
Hey,
That is a matter of opinion. They both work great, but I would personally select the Adistar for longer distance runs as it is specifically designed for it.
Tine
How do those fit ? True to size ? Or should I size down a half size ??
Hey Joey.
We have experienced it to be TTS, but have only had two people try it so far at our HQ.
Lars
At least the larger versions 10+ are quite small and rather narrow.
It's a Hokadas !!
That is a clever play on words!
Tina White shocks? Which brand?
Hey,
Plain white no-show socks :D
Tine
@@RunningXpert in the video you have higher socks with bubbles on the back part of the sock.
@@i.p2088 Hey,

Adios 6 or Adistar?
Hey,
This is the Adistar, but the Adios 6 would be a great companion if you would like a faster shoe.
Lars
Hard to believe that no reviewers of this shoe will tell you the truth about how bad these shoes are . They are literally hard enough to knock nails into wood. Amazingly bad shoe . Useless 🤔
