⁴ᴷ MTA NYCT Queens Buses: Short Action of Various Queens Bus Loans around Queens

Due to the 2022-2023 Nova Bus LFS SmartBus fleet being constantly pulled and put back in service due to mechanical issues involving their doors, buses from around the city had to loan some buses that might be a bit unusual to see in the areas of Queens that these bus depots serve. In the midst of the regular fleet, buses from The Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn and even Staten Island were traded off to Queens in order to serve regular service in the depot that they were assigned to, temporarily. These buses included being from depots such as Gun Hill, Kingsbridge, Michael J. Quill, Flatbush, Fresh Pond, East New York, Castleton, Charleston and Yukon. Some other Queens depots also loaned to their neighboring depots as well, like Queens Village loaning to Casey Stengel, Casey Stengel loaning to Jamaica, and so on so forth. Many of these loans and changes caused for unusual sightings around hotspots like Jamaica and Main Street where there is an abundance of bus service from the depots that might have been affected by the changes. Not to mention, a few of the depots that had loaned were even in need of their own loans due to their own shortages because of this. A few of these unusual and interesting loans from both Main Street and Jamaica are seen servicing routes from the depots they had been loaned to, in a short compilation of clips recorded between 2 individual days, one for both areas. #mtabus

yo Emperor, if you see Queens Village buses on the Q20 and the Q31 and the Q76, all of these are the school trippers, and if you see Casey Stengel buses running on the Q17, that’s also a school tripper, so it’s not really a transfer, just a school loaner, also 8574 and 8702 that were on the Q17 were the school trippers done by Casey Stengel because 8574 and 8702 were loaned to Casey Stengel
