Snagged one for $43! Totally worth! At first it may seem to not work, but try unplugging from the gas pedal and replugging. Just be sure not to disconnect the control pad from the cable box while the engine is running/only unplug it only if you are removing the mod entirely. You will get temporary error codes about the parking brake and stability control malfunctioning. (Cause the computer sees the throttle signal getting disrupted?)
The way I got the deal was to just browse listings and add stuff to my watchlists and a seller gave me an offer.

It’s funny how many people are so misinformed about how throttle controllers work. It doesn’t trick the throttle to think the pedal is further down than it actually is, it makes the throttle valve open faster than stock. Most stock drive by wire set ups make the throttle open slowly and that’s where the response lag happens. This thing makes it so the throttle responds quicker to the pedal input. So instead of you putting your foot down 50% and then the throttle valve going like 10-20-30-40-50% over a couple seconds, a throttle controller will tell it to open much faster depending on which mode you choose

Ya these work great got one on my A4 it's nice you can fine tune them to feel exactly how you want I started out in race and it would spin all four wheels off of every stop so I fine tuned it on sport feels awesome now like how it should have felt to begin with , I'm assuming all Audi's are similar but there was a big delay in my stock pedal even in dynamic , Sport on tranny and Apr tuned the Apr tune sharpened up the throttle a bit but not as much as I would have liked

I bought one and keep it on auto most of the time. He is not exaggerating at all, it wakes the car up, hard not to speed alot the first couple of days cause the car is just so grunty and wild all of a sudden. The PP mode or racing mode he has it in is really not fun to drive when just cruising, the pedal is SUPER sensitive. It will perform essentially the same in all performance modes including Auto but just at varying degrees. Auto mode on the controller + S mode is PERFECT. I tried economy mode at a high level just to try it and the car immediately went into limp mode so I wouldn't recommend that. Also never change the settings while driving!

Just got one and, wow, it works. Just the first mode makes a difference. The other modes seem to be too much. You have to get use to it or you will spin the tires very easy.

Do you have a dsg tune and if NOT, do you think there would be a problem with having both or do you not need the dsg tune?
i got the same car as you the a5 and i’ve noticed it lags when launching i will definitely have to get this when they go back in stock

It’s a better one called the sprint booster v3 I got it in my Audi A6 c7 and I get 3.9 0-60 in a stage 1 apr really helps especially roll races
I got a 2019 A7 and this video is gonna fuck a lot of people up, he is making it sound like it's just a little plug and play tool but this is a stage 1 for that model... He is gonna void the warranty of many people... Smh.

You absolute moron. These controllers don’t reprogram or change anything in your ECU. If you unplug them before taking your vehicle to the shop they can not in any way tell it was hooked up. I have one on my new truck and took it in for something and my friend was the mechanic that did the warranty work and he told me he specifically scanned for codes and evidence that something was modded and he said there was nothing. So maybe next time before you speak on something and try to give advice, you could do a few minutes of reading. It’s really not hard to understand how they work.
I've been debating one of these to go with a stage 2+ dual pulley tune + tcu. Does it do away with the pause(breathe in and gear down)before the throttle kicks in, or just less pedal needed to trigger it?
I think a bushing mount on the trans should help with that I just got one

Is this like when you put it into S mode?
Wait does s mode do anything? This increases the throttle response so like 50% throttle feels like 100% I could be wrong
@@cacapeepeepoopoohead1632 S mode definitely makes the throttle feel more responsive and the transmission shifts more aggressively.
S mode makes the transmission hold higher revs, this electronically makes the gas pedal shorter
Now is it actually faster, or does it just feel faster?
Does it add HP no , you get to use your power right away instead of the gradual build up due to the delay of the valve opening

@@17sylargino It's not a tune, it opens the throttle body, & improves the pedal feel of the vehicle & in no way connects to the ECU..
@@17sylargino lol what?? It doesn't modify your ECU, it only tricks it by sending different signals from the pedal. You could easily remove it and Audi would be none the wise.
