I ordered and purchased a 2015 GT -Performance Pack 401A package when it was introduced in mid 2014. My sticker was just a little over $41,000. Prices have gotten out of hand now!!!!!!
Thanks for the video. 301a is a bit more than just dual climate control and XM radio. Is it worth the extra money? Not sure, but for some, heated seats, mycolor, and a power seat may be deal breakers.

Just so you guys know, the Base GT does have front brembos. If you get the performance pack you get front and rear brembos and also are able to option either black, red, or grabber blue colors.
Aren't they 4 piston brembos stock and then the performance gets 6 piston brembos front and 4 piston rear?

@@ValkenDnB No, i believe the base only has front 4 piston Brembos. The rear are just regular floating calipers
yeah the performance brembos are freaking huge. i just ordered one and saw a automatic on the lot ( i want 6 speed), rotors are like 17-18 inches big. video doesn't do it justice.@@ValkenDnB

My 2021 Mustang with15k miles , loaded premium 401 with the 20 inch wheels, the digital dashboard and the optional 3:55 gears was the literally the same price... it's loaded and I love it, Ford is forcing me to pay crazy money for my next vehicle which now cannot be a Mustang.. I'm not going to pay $60,000 for the equivalent car that I have ,I'll pay 67k for a C8 Corvette... and for the first time ever I've got two dealerships and Ford Motor Credit telling me I am pre-approved come get my car.. LOL and is not going to happen...
You might want to pay off that 2021 first. you kids today are never going to be able to retire the way you trade in cars.

I agree…I wouldn’t pay over 40 for this. 38 would be nice…I sold my 2021 WB scatpack shaker six speed manual last July. I barely drove it. But I miss it lol. I looking for a replacement. Something V8 with a manual. Just don’t want to break the bank. But in 1-2 years. Is this can be had for 38 grand. I’d get one. Yellow splash color

I agree with your comments on the base being such a good value but you do need the Premium for the Recaros and for the Magnaride.

Premium are in my area around 55k-61k before taxes and add ons. Found 2 base models around with discounts 38k-40k. Exhaust sucks on them. Needs to have deeper and pops.
I have the base model I wished I could get an LX emblem to replace the GT on the rear of the car
Man I don’t like the idea of giving up on design styling in order to accommodate computer screens. Give me natural gauges or even electronic tach but leave the better design in tact. Not a fan at all of these new interior design especially when you picture keeping a mustang for years to come to someday become a classic maybe. But these new mustangs will definitely not be anything near to classics.

Nice video, not a lot of people show the base. From the pictures I didn’t like the base wheels but they look okay in the video. However you made a mistake. The base does have 4 piston Brembo brakes.

really dont think its any more quiet than the active exhaust track mode. sounds the same to me
the fact that it doesn’t even come with quad exhaust anymore is kinda ass, you gotta upgrade this and that just to get what the S550 came with already. The two screen split was another ridiculous decision

Agreed. I've had an 18 and 19 Bullitt with MT82's. Ford can shove them up their ass.
I was hoping for some high rpm shifts to see if the mt82 still has lockout issues.

@@LebanonFordInc Damn! The only reason i'm looking at the dark horse is for the tremec. Is the mt82 a remote mount shifter like the 3650 in the 3v's? I've never had 1-2 issues even completely stock with my 06, but 2-3 was an issue until i got poly motor mounts and che torque limiters. now i never miss a shift.

Way to expensive for a heavier car that's almost identical to the S550 I owned a 2012 and 2016 modified both cars and they were awesome cars but I can't justify paying 44000 $ for a base mustang gt that is almost the same car as the last Gen
s550 was the same especially last few years if you wanted a base 2023 you would be paying over 40 and you don't get near as much for a base s550 than a s650

I mean honestly I thought the same thing until I drove one, it feels like a completely different car. I was in the market for a S550 trakpack, but all of those were over priced, so I got the S650! I’m the first owner so atleast I know it hasn’t been molested.

Unfortunately new cars are doing the same thing. Check BMW and Mercedes. Even the $2.7M Mercedes AMG 1 has dual screens like ipads lol.

Got 301A, 19” wheels, and active exhaust for $42k at Ourisman Ford Manassas. Base is listed at $38k with trade-in incentive. Definitely recommend them.

Honestly - no car is worth 44K. It's just Bidenomics. Price that car out in gold and it's still $480.00 face value. They keep devaluing the funny fiat money. The same car with a slightly less capable engine and a better dashboard and exterior was 28K just 8-9 years ago. Before that, it was 25K 18 years ago. From a 3 K jump in 10 years, to a 16+K jump in 8 years. Hell the 2015-16 could still be had new for 28K at the time if you shopped. So 16K jump in 7 years. Better pay off your assets as fast as you can before we hit Weimar-flation.
What a stupid ass comment. Making it political is a brain dead thing to do. Manufacturers are price gouging more every model year, parts made overseas are 2-3x as expensive as 5 years ago because of LEDs and safety tech and manufacturers are making insane profits on those. Dealerships are charging $200+ an hour for labor. The ability to scan and calibrate things in cars is being monopolized.
For example, in the area where I work (insurance adjuster), the local VW dealership charges $399 for an alignment because they HAVE to calibrate the distance sensors with every alignment. Audi quoted $8k for 2 wheels, 3 tires and 3 struts.
All the cute vehicle names and logos on windshields, headlamps and all are absolutely not design only. It’s intentional to force people to have to buy OEM because it makes cheaper aftermarket parts visibly different.
It’s universal corporate greed. Not even remotely political or “bidenomics.” That’s such a weird place to go in response to this video

I thought the dash was one piece but in this car it looks like two tablets
