I can imagine the interior, almost all hollow, black marble walls filled with the names of the heroes that stood to The Line. A theater at the center, replaying the battle from the start, until the end, then ENTERPRISE arriving and resolving.
@ranosian1135 do you understand the significance of a memorial? There are no shortcuts. They will ship it physically from any and all world's, even the black marble, all the way from Tennessee, Ireland, and France.
I’ll never forget my first command. USS Normandy NCC-7421, she fought at Wolf 359. I had been in command for just over a year after taking the fast track at the academy. We had done quite a bit by that point. Then we got that message to assemble at Wolf 359. We were sent in on the 3rd wave and tried to save the Saratoga. They battered our shields down in no time flat and we failed. On our way out the Borg blasted us hard, we were damaged but still flying when we whirled about and went in torpedo launcher and phasers blazing. It was pointless. They didn’t even waste time with the tractor beam, they just used the cutting beam to shear off our port nacelle, and gut the starboard one. On board the ship all hell broke lose, bulkheads failed and plasma conduits exploded and the bridge turned into a sea of exploding consoles. We were dead in space, on fire in multiple places and powerless when the next Borg volley just about destroyed us. They hit the torpedo launcher and detonated 10 torpedos in the actual launcher. The crew up there died instantly. The explosion on the bridge burned me badly and killed most of the crew. I was pinned by a beam that came down and was suffering from multiple injuries when the energy conduit under my captains chair went off. My XO was about to leave the bridge when he saw I was still breathing. The transporters were inoperable as was most of the ship and the bridge was venting into space when he had to phaser my legs off above the knees to pull me from the wreckage. My face was full of console chunks and my arms were virtually useless from burns. He literally dragged me to an evacuation shuttle. I spent years recovering, then on the eve of the dominion war I found salvation in the reverse engineered Borg components I helped design. I had my arms and legs back after 5 years, I still have those facial scars but I was able to return to duty with a catch. Due to the Borg nanites and those from the Nanite civilization I received for treatment my cells no longer age. I’ll be close to 75 next year and yet chronologically I don’t age past 42, haven’t for a long time. One day I must return to Wolf 359 and honor my comrades lost in a hopeless battle. That will be harder then winning the dominion war. No matter how much they try I still can’t forget that day
I brought the USS Bristol - a distant cousin ship to the famous USS ENTERPRISE of the NCC 1701 and the A model to this memorial in the 24th Century. We had travelled forward in time from the late 20th Century - Admiral Picard who had been at Wolf 359 - and uniquely as Locutus as the Borg Spokesperson - told me of this memorial and I was curious enough to go see it myself. We dropped out of warp some three billion miles short and we approached on Impulse Drive at one third. My first officer was keenly scaning the wrecked starships - he said! " I'm picking up huge rents in hulls, I guess we were lucky enough not to run into the Borg in our era! Steve! " Kemp was my First Officer with qualifications in the Science disciplines " The Federation decided to form this here as a permanent memorial to that battle! One starship survived out of forty. " " Yes! " I murmured loudly " The USS Endeavour, an Ambassador Class I think! " I gave an order to the Helmsman " Commander Austin - drop down to quarter impulse and bring us along the line of these starship memorials.. Reminds you a bit like Pearl Harbour in December 1941, doesn't it?" The Chief Helmsman swallowed nervously - he could see the similarities! We had arrived in 2385 - over 17 years or so - after this tumultuous battle. " Sir?" " Yes? " I responded " a question!" " Wasn't there a second Galaxy Class involved ?" My senior helmsman asked the legitimate question. I paused! " Indeed, there was! " I confirmed " the USS Auriga - she seperated her saucer section and arrived with only the Stardrive battle section from Starbase 74 ! That ship was destroyed completely by the Borg - There wasn't anything much of her after that. The Matter/Anti-Matter reactor blew the ship into dust. Very few remaining components remained of her..." " And to think - that probably spared the crew from assimilation as Borg! " The Navigation Officer piped up " I can't help but think that make me shudder to think of it! " I couldn't blame the navigator, she was one of the relief Navigators - only having been onboard for 6 weeks. I hadn't expected on going on an exchange visit to the 24th Century so soon. But here we are! And running through a very historical sector of space near the Wolf 359 system. New crew found things baffling - and this new navigation officer was no exception! " Bring us to a halt ! " I ordered - I had spotted something " beam main sensors and main viewer on 025 mark 103° degrees to port. " The view screen lit up with the image of a Constitution 2 Class starship with the registration number TS 1371 That starship looked a lot like ours. The only difference was structural. Our warp nacelles were semi-hexconal elongated nacelles, the starship that was very much gutted had nacelles similar to the refitted Enterprise of the 23rd Century - we packed aft phasers and fore and aft torpedo banks as this vessel did.. " She's the USS Republic - looks like she was a Fleet Academy training ship!" My First Officer observed - I was pondering again ! " Republic?!? Republic - oh! I recall, One of the starships that James Kirk was on! I think he was just a junior Lieutenant at the time! In the 2240's I think! " I was pretty sure of that! Then there was an urgent beep from our comm station and the Communications officer said " Urgent message from Starfleet Command! Code 0ne Alpha emergency - Captain! Mars has suffered an rebellion by Androids! Utopia Planitia has been devastated!" " Lieutenant, advise our friends at Starfleet - USS Bristol will respond immediately. How long will it take us to get back to Earth at best speed? " The Navigation Officer was quick with the calculation. " If we go to Warp 9 ! One hour fourteen minutes. Minus 20 if heading for Mars.!!" She responded efficiently. " Helm - reciprocating course - bring us to full impulse now and Warp 9 once clearing the memorial sector of Wolf 359!" " Chris isn't going to like that! " My first officer commented " He hates pushing his beloved children hard!" Our chief engineer could be finicky! And often was! He was soon on - but I ended his tirrade. " Chris - I want you to flog the main engines. Utopia Planitia is under a synth rebellion - we MUST get back to the Solar System as quickly as we can! Warp 9 or better! No debate - just an order! Get shovelling! " The USS Bristol turned radically on her axis and faced a heading where some 17 years earlier, the Enterprise D had chased after the Borg ship. Our race was different but just as urgent. The USS Bristol was no Starfleet vessel but a UNSE Starship - as per our regulations we had to respond in kind and help if we could. " Clear of the immediate area of the memorial!" Commander Austin reported. " Well!?? " I rumbled " don't just sit there! Get shovelling - Warp 9 and flog it!" In one leap - in standard space, The USS Bristol jumped to warp and accelerated back to the Solar System - the rescue mission was on.
This was very nicely done and I liked how you kept the ships in there original damaged/destroyed state after the battle which gives massive emphasis to just how terribly outgunned and out classed the whole fleet at wolf 359 was against just a single Borg cube regardless of whether they had Locutus or not.

40 star ships and a couple Klingon birds of prey fought that day only 1 Federation star ship came back. I'm not really sure witch ship lived but it picked up the few life pods that made it and warped out before the Enterprise D got there.
In the two part episode, "Best of Both Worlds" there are no Klingon ships shown battling the Borg. VAdm J P Hanson had 40 Starfleet ships under his command to try to stop the Borg cube at Wolf 359. Unfortunately, 39 of the ships were completely destroyed. There was one surviving ship. Michael and Denise Okuda produced the Star Trek Omnipedia containing all kinds of information regarding Star Trek up to the time of its last revision. VAdm Hanson mentions they're called the Klingons, but they wouldn't arrive in time. He also says they've even thought of calling out to the Romulans, but they didn't. But there were no Klingons in battle at Worf 359. It was all Starfleet.
Interesting that the ships didn't all explode like what happens on most episodes. I guess the Borg target them in a way to maximize number of crew assimilated.
I’m wondering why they didn’t include the Galaxy class (I think it was the USS Challenger) that was clearly present and destroyed in at least STOs interpretation of the participating ships.
However the Saratoga is at the Fleet Museum. It is the original Saratoga that was disabled by the whale probe, and it was redesigned with the registry of the Saratoga that was destroyed at Wolf 359. Also, my head canon states that Geordi's Great Grandmother on his mother's side was the original Saratoga Captain.

It's odd that there is both unknown classes and ships with non starfleet registration. I guess they just grabbed whatever was available even old training and decommissioned civilianized ships and rushed them to the front. I would have thought there would be at least one galaxy class too.
If you rewatch the emissary (DS9 very first episode) the Saratoga was completely destroyed, along with several other vessels. if I remember correctly there was only a handful of vessels from the original 40 starships that were left behind as wrecks, the majority of the star fleet ships were completely and utterly destroyed. I think the official cannon said there were even several Klingon wrecks at wolf 359 though they were not officially shown or mentioned, Locutus was an absolute beast during this battle.
Far larger for one, and fewer wrecks as we lost a lot of ships in that damn war. I was a Wolf 359 combat wounded survivor and a dominion war veteran. I once had a Starfleet security officer question my commitment to Starfleet. 4 Purple Hearts for lost limbs at wolf 359 and a chest full of decorations for bravery and valor earned during the dominion war ended the discussion. He simply saluted me and walked out.
i actually like that most ships are not too damaged. not a fan of the whole one borg ship took out like 20+ starships but the enterprise not only defeated it but also while alone survived other multiple encounters. picard/locutus targeting specific damage points just to immobilize the majority of the ships seems more realistic.
That was great. Just two suggestions...Should there be some kind of physical tethering system? I can't see it being efficient to have tractor beams holding them in place. Also, as we saw in the pilot for DS9. Survivors of Wolf 359 did survive in escape pods. Any thought of showing empty escape pod bays? In any case thanks for making this!!!
Pretty sure that in canon, the Akira class did not exist at the time of Wolf 359. It was among several classes of ships that were designed in response to the Borg threat.

He simply saluted me and walked out.
Very cool video but so many canon mistakes, I don't know where to begin!
Excellent video of Wolf 359.
can you make a video of a constellation class ship (stargazer style) docking in the mushroom space station please that would be epic!
Do you mean, she has to fly into the Station? 🥰🖖
Wasn't the USS Righteous NCC-42451 alao present at the Bow359?
That's why the video is named 'non canon' 🥰🖖
I THOUGHT THE akira class did not come about during wolf 359 I thought that was a Dominion era ship
That's true, i'm also confused. STO seems to do not like to be canon 🥰🖖
No Galaxy class ships were harmed in this video...
Dear Lord. Someone went up against the Borg in a Connie Refit? that just tells you how desperate the situation was.
Starfleet needs to get ahold of one of The Ware’s repair stations from Dead Stop.
i actually like that most ships are not too damaged. not a fan of the whole one borg ship took out like 20+ starships but the enterprise not only defeated it but also while alone survived other multiple encounters. picard/locutus targeting specific damage points just to immobilize the majority of the ships seems more realistic.
That's true. Picard's knowledge in Locutus has helped the Borg hit the ships in the most sensitive places
these are great
Were the Borg using mud as their primary weapons?
Where is Captain Saavik's USS Alliance? The starship was also on the front lines of the battle in Wolf 359.
That'll all buff out.............
The Tolstoy is a Rigel class ship not a centaur class also there was no centaur class at the battle of wolf 359
Yes, that's why this is a non-canon marked video, with canon ships exposed at the end of the vid 🥰🖖
Why did you not include Oberth class USS Bonestell
T.S. Republic, I sense a reference to Starfleet 1 The War Begins, one of my all time favorite computer games. 😊
Awesome tribute. I didn't see Siskos ship
His ship was blown up bits.
4:38 An Akira class named Kaneda. Hmm...wonder what that's a nod to? 🙄
@2:48 The USS Garrett is a Georgiou-class Battlecruiser, not a Centaur
Nice! I think the USS Ibn Sines is a Parliament Class. It looks like one. 4:27
USS Ahwahnee was not damaged beyond repair, she was part of the 23 ships in TNG "Redemption" set a year later
What about the USS Saratoga that Commander Sisko was on during the battle
Why would any of them be " unknown class " ?
Where are you getting all your info from, did you not check Memory Alpha or Ex Astris Scientia
Pretty sure that in canon, the Akira class did not exist at the time of Wolf 359. It was among several classes of ships that were designed in response to the Borg threat.
That's why i marked it as non-canon
You must have pissed someone off to get posted to an oberth...
Do you think any were refurbished or parts recycled to be used in other ships needed in the Dominion War ?
I don't know. I guess there is no memorial station canonly, but we don't know that 🥰🖖
