    • @Billkwando
      @Billkwando Месяц назад +1

      @@crystalrain89 It works! The trick is to not use too much water. You want to do spraying just enough to get it wet, and a lot of scrubbing and sucking. The thing works! If you can feel water in the padding when you stand on it, you need to suck up more water. Also helps to point a fan at the wet area.
      *Edit:* Also you want the handle to pretty much be parallel to the floor. I think if you try to angle it more upward, like a hand held vacuum, you don't get the full suction. I think that's how mine ended up so wet the first time. I was scrubbing but not really sucking.

    How do you clean all the crap out that gets clogged in the nozzle head? Around the sides of where the dirty water is sucked through? After using it for really dirty areas or areas with put fur it really needs to be rinsed out straight away, otherwise the dirt sets in there like concret.

    • @MyProjectWeekend
      @MyProjectWeekend  2 года назад +4

      You’re right that it’s best to rinse right after use. I did a follow up video going over trouble shooting and cleaning the machine as well. I basically use the spray nozzle in the sink and there’s an attachment you can use to clean the hose.

I think it’s a good idea to start with the recommended amount and adjust it as needed based on your experience. After a while you’ll start to get the hang of it and adjust as needed. Do you keep the trigger on during scrubbing? I think it works better but also wasting more solution

    • @MyProjectWeekend
      @MyProjectWeekend  2 года назад

      Yes. It depends on how dirty the area is but typically I’ll have the water spray while I scrub for a little bit.

    I can't find anywhere in the book where that little attachment that you have on the hose, with the little clear thing with holes in it, is for? It was clipped on your hose at the beginning of the video

    • @MyProjectWeekend
      @MyProjectWeekend  2 года назад +2

      Hi Charlotte, that’s a good question. It’s to clean the hose. I did another video about cleaning and maintenance. You can find the video in my videos list or I put a link to it in the description of this video. Thanks!

  • @EatLotsOfCurry

    What is that small attachment connected to the hose that you left off? I’ve been trying to figure out that that’s for.

    • @MyProjectWeekend
      @MyProjectWeekend  2 года назад +8

      It’s to clean the hose. You remove the brush head by pressing the button on the top of the handle. You can then put that piece on and pull the trigger to run clean water back through the hose. I should have explained that in the video! Thanks.

      The soap goes in the clean water reservoir. Between 1-2 ounces.

    After cleaning with the solution should you redo with a water-only rinse cycle?

    • @MyProjectWeekend
      @MyProjectWeekend  2 года назад

      Typically no, unless you used to much solution and you think it needs to be.

    Thanks for the great review. I want to buy a cleaner for my sofas. I have robot vacuums for my floors. Does this vacuum AND cleans with water? I am looking for a machine that does both for my sofas since I have pets

    • @MyProjectWeekend
      @MyProjectWeekend  Год назад

      This machine has a brush and sprays water. It allows you to spray an area and scrub it clean. Then you can vacuum up the excess water. I've never used it like you're talking about so I don't know how it would work. If it's just hair I imagine it will work ok but It could get clogged if there's too much hair.

    What is the little clear bottle attached to the hose?

    • @MyProjectWeekend
      @MyProjectWeekend  Год назад +1

      It's an attachment to clean the hose of the Machine. When you attach it to the end of the hose it allows you to run water through the hose to clean out any dirt or debris. I go over it in a video here: ruclips.net/video/dE7-XTw0sOA/видео.html

    so is there any steam with a steam cleaner?

    • @MyProjectWeekend
      @MyProjectWeekend  24 дня назад

      No this model is not a stem cleaner. It’s a portable carpet cleaner that just uses water and cleaning solution. They do have a newer model that does offers steam. I did a video about it you can see here: How to Use the Bissell HydroSteam Carpet Cleaner
