Thank you! I borrowed my daughters BLGM and didn’t have clear instructions from her and looked on Utube and here you are!! Great instructions! My dining room chair seats look awesome!!
Now this is my kind of tutorial, short, informative, and right to the point! Because of those things, I've liked and subscribed to your channel. I recently purchased one of these and written instructions are often confusing. Seeing your video makes it so easy for me to get right to cleaning. Thank you very much.
@@crystalrain89 It works! The trick is to not use too much water. You want to do spraying just enough to get it wet, and a lot of scrubbing and sucking. The thing works! If you can feel water in the padding when you stand on it, you need to suck up more water. Also helps to point a fan at the wet area. *Edit:* Also you want the handle to pretty much be parallel to the floor. I think if you try to angle it more upward, like a hand held vacuum, you don't get the full suction. I think that's how mine ended up so wet the first time. I was scrubbing but not really sucking.
Agreed! I'm not a fan of reading the instructions so I went straight to RUclips and look for a vid < 5 minutes. This was perfect (I was hoping to see the spots after it dried, though(.
Thanks! It's been over a year since I pulled this out of the closet and I forgot what to do! This was super helpful. I did my entire rug and it looks brand new!
A friend gave me hers about 12 years ago. I never used it. Now my precious kitty is randomly peeing on furniture! I was mortified, but remembered my Bissell pet vac. If I'd known how easy this seems, I would have had this madtered long ago!. Going to tackle the spots right after my morning Joe! I'm SO glad I kept this!! 👏👏👏👍❤️ Almost gave it up at my yard sale 😳
Sorry to hear about your kitty, hopefully they’re ok! We use our bissell for all types of stains but it comes in handy when our cat has accidents as well.
Mine isn’t collecting any dirty water. I’ve made sure everything is in place and latched correctly, there doesn’t seem to be a suction issue as I can feel it suctioning. Am I not using enough water? Idk what I’m doing wrong but I’m doing everything you’re doing
Appreciate you for this video. We have carpet now so I've been looking for a decent little machine to clean those spots for us. Thank you so much, hope to see more from you.
How do you clean all the crap out that gets clogged in the nozzle head? Around the sides of where the dirty water is sucked through? After using it for really dirty areas or areas with put fur it really needs to be rinsed out straight away, otherwise the dirt sets in there like concret.
You’re right that it’s best to rinse right after use. I did a follow up video going over trouble shooting and cleaning the machine as well. I basically use the spray nozzle in the sink and there’s an attachment you can use to clean the hose.
I love how concise this video is..everything I need to know. I just got one of these as a Christmas gift and my cat decided to pee on the couch...perfect test lol.
Do you guys have a pin hole in the cap of the tube that goes into bottom of the water container? I’m not sure if this is normal or mine is damaged. I just pulled it out for the first time this weekend when I fill it with water and then tip it downwards to put it into the machine. Water comes out of the little pinhole in a stream. The pinhole is on the black cap exactly where the straw like tube goes into the tank
Hope this one is better than the original. The rotating brush cartridge on mine broke and I had to order a new cartridge. Then the next time I used it, the spray trigger wouldn't stop spraying and the suction sucked.
I saw a screw in the parts list but i dont have one and dont know what its for. Oh a 4th design flaw is that you cant remove the cover to get out the lint or hair or pieces if upholstery. You cant get it out with your fingers either
So I don't recall receiving a screw with mine. The cover doesn't come off and I believe that's to create an air tight seal to suck up more water. I use a pipe cleaner and it works pretty good. Thanks for the comments! you make some good points.
Not sure if my suction isn't strong enough or what - is the area still supposed to be wet after you suction it? I feel like mine just doesn't work well at all.
It’s usually a little damp after. You can try a suction test to see how fast it sucks up the water: Bissell Green Machine No Suction Test ruclips.net/video/T0poV_Lqz0c/видео.html

Hi Charlotte, that’s a good question. It’s to clean the hose. I did another video about cleaning and maintenance. You can find the video in my videos list or I put a link to it in the description of this video. Thanks!
It’s to clean the hose. You remove the brush head by pressing the button on the top of the handle. You can then put that piece on and pull the trigger to run clean water back through the hose. I should have explained that in the video! Thanks.
Thanks for the great review. I want to buy a cleaner for my sofas. I have robot vacuums for my floors. Does this vacuum AND cleans with water? I am looking for a machine that does both for my sofas since I have pets
This machine has a brush and sprays water. It allows you to spray an area and scrub it clean. Then you can vacuum up the excess water. I've never used it like you're talking about so I don't know how it would work. If it's just hair I imagine it will work ok but It could get clogged if there's too much hair.
It's an attachment to clean the hose of the Machine. When you attach it to the end of the hose it allows you to run water through the hose to clean out any dirt or debris. I go over it in a video here: ruclips.net/video/dE7-XTw0sOA/видео.html

Thank you going step by step with how to use the little green machine. It does a fantastic job at getting those tough stains out the carpet.

I can't find anywhere in the book where that little attachment that you have on the hose, with the little clear thing with holes in it, is for? It was clipped on your hose at the beginning of the video
Hi Charlotte, that’s a good question. It’s to clean the hose. I did another video about cleaning and maintenance. You can find the video in my videos list or I put a link to it in the description of this video. Thanks!
What is that small attachment connected to the hose that you left off? I’ve been trying to figure out that that’s for.
It’s to clean the hose. You remove the brush head by pressing the button on the top of the handle. You can then put that piece on and pull the trigger to run clean water back through the hose. I should have explained that in the video! Thanks.
Thanks for the video. Do you not have to go back and rinse it with just water?
I missed where you put the soap. Did you say?
