What kind of stain did you use? Gel? Also - do you sand in between second and third coats of poly if you wanted three coats?

I can’t stand this thing makes and leaves a big mess stinks and I have to mop after trying to use it. Cleaning it in the tray is a joke. Don’t think it was made to use on tile. Waste of money for me.

The Bissell Pet Spot and Stain or Bissell Professional OXY Spot and Stain formula is used straight from the bottle according to pages 3 and 4 of the manual. Filled up to the max formula mark on the Formula Tank. I think it could l be watered down for slightly soiled spots or for rinsing.

Thanks for this- mine was really stubborn. After 2 minutes with the bucket i finally had to hold down the trigger and suck the solution out of the nozzle like a straw, but it got it working. Suggestion- use clean water when doing this :)
