First Light! First Signals received on Version II of Homebrew 15-10 Transceiver

Ianis S51DX in Slovenia was the first call sign heard. Some peaking and tweaking remains to be done, but the receiver is working.
Congratulations to Scott KQ4AOP who got his Direct Conversion receiver working yesterday,
And congratulations to Armand WA1UQO who got his regen receiver working. I think all of us are following Farhan's advice and are taking some time to just listen to the receivers we have built ourselves.

And just like that "Robert's your mother's brother!" BTW, the simple junk box diode will be a perfectly good reverse protection device, I was just thinking about the additional voltage drop in case DC power was and issue and then a Schottky would be a better choice. ;-) Keep up the great work Bill. 73 - Dino KLØS

Hi Bill. Here is the receiver for my new 40m project. It uses a QRP LABS Progrock II. The transmitter is going already and now I have a direct conversion ugly build. Eventually it will be a CHANNELISED rig like a CB 😂 for CW SOTA. 73 de VK2AOE George.
