Anyone who doesn't recognize this for the greatness that it is does not know great 80's music! I've seen him 6 times live, and he never fails to deliver. He was the very first to go out and interact with his crowd, Garth Brooks took a cue from him. JCM's show never ever failed to deliver, and his music gives comfort and joy to people who ever heard him perform, no matter what year it is.

You see the home of heaven, and in your ear, you hear its'sound, and when the breath of your Creator whispers into your heart, you know Him. You can understand with your soul where you belong, and your soul can dance in the light of endless creativity, and you know who you are. You can be in complete peace knowing where your home is. I already knew that about you because of the music that comes from your heart. There's no need to wonder if you are appreciated. You have had mercy and compassion and grace by just one wink for a long time. Kudos

I pissed off my Mom with this song; I pissed off my teachers with this song; JCM embodied penny loafers, with just authority, & got me to appreciate grassroots rock.
This is someone who I can speak highly of.
God Bless You, John Cougar Mellencamp.
