  • In this one I take a look at the wheel arch, probably one i have been not keen on doing at the same time really wanted to get stuck into it and test myself. Really happy with the results on this one ,

go for it mate , I suggest you sculpt it before you fit it as this is my technique it has to be close enough before you cut the original out but if you don’t get it the first time round you’ll know more on the second. all the best 🤙🏻

thanks Peter I was hoping to get a better fit closer on the rear side as I welded the front section first , really pulled it forward but came out alright in the end ,🤙🏻

Nice work mate, wheel arches being done on my Statesman at the moment. You need skill and patience to do what you guys do!

thanks man yeah they definitely are a challenge, and I really didn’t want to square cut these out either, the other option to do . keeping it roughly same shape as the arch turned out good as far as tension across the wider parts of the panel ( even pull on the spot welding)

Since you replace so much of the wheel arch you should made them wider room for bigger boots.

i certainly could have done this but it would have changed the outside of the car. shorter diff tub the inside then the bigger wheels go in . going a total different way though thanks for the comment

hah I honestly think I have very little , I find being comfortable with stuffing up a panel , plus not having any timeframe on things helps .

Mirror finish on the hammers. Seems a shame to belt now.
Clear them and put em on display. 😆

that would be a mint coffee table display of hammers under glass top .. cheers man , very easy technique that last a long time .
