    As I've established in earlier video comments, this van is badass. The dealership had no badass vans on the lot last time I was there. I talked to the sales manager and expressed my desire to order a badass van, but he just looked at me and blinked for an uncomfortable period of time. Keep on truckin..... Or Vannin', I should say

    Much needed information to apply to my '49 Packard Hearse.
    Got to go back and watch the 2 previous videos. I have been out of pocket for awhile. Oscar was sound asleep, so I was not going to bother him.
    Your voice is very recognizable, especially to Oscar. He stirred and then plopped into my lap and started rubbing the phone. Oscar doesn't pay you much attention, but he sure likes your 2 companions. He and I back up the video, over and over. At least I learn alot, Oscar is just socializing.

    Another great save of a vehicle that is totally worth fixing, I like the fact that your not ordering quarters for yet another 69 Camaro build. I think people get mad when a cool old van gets more attention on the street than their muscle car, that they dumped way too much money into. I'm working on a 23 Durant Star coupe the mechanical part is not a problem, but making the body is, after watching your channel I got a set of hammers and dollies and feel much better about getting after it. Thanks

    • @CarterAutoRestyling
      @CarterAutoRestyling  2 года назад +5

      The idea is that these techniques can be applied to any old vehicle, so it's not meant to be about fixing a van, it's about fixing rust. A '23 Durant Star is a seriously cool project! Best of luck to you on that one!

    I like the tip about grinding down the tacks before doing the main welding. I will do that going forward. Those arches sure came out looking good! Oh -- and I like the snippets with your cats. They are tough competitors. You will need to work hard to beat them out.

    Fantastic work. Nice to see body work done properly. Thirty years ago, I was struggling with stove pipe, pop rivets, filler and fibreglass.
