Yea.... about that mob... you owe me for the catering and port-o-pottys. On a completely unrelated note... Last week I had my first experience with a modern mig welder and thanks to your videos it all went very well, for a beginner. I followed your teachings by first tossing every tool I own on the floor and mixing them toughly with the garbage. I had my doubts but I got excellent results. Cheers from the Shed

I live in a rusty state. Every five year old truck has rust somewhere. I started rust repair in the '70s on Japanese cars I flipped. Those were all handmade patches , pop riveted in with fiberglass filler over everything. Some of those cars are still around amd look pretty good! Now with the patch panels for everything this work is much more fun and easy, (well for my shop). You can get a nice car with rust pretty cheap, get one and try it out!!!

Now could it be that the massive amount of metal used to create solid structure in said pinkup disrupted the space time continuem and caused it to be a bit brezzy in ND? Dont know fer certainly but....

You did what you knew how at the time when there was no RUclips.
Me and a friend had a body shop right out of high school. We were just young kid's 18, 19 year's old putting car's back together the way we knew how no training. At the end of the work the owner's were happy. Until we got older and more experienced then we started to put car's back together the right way replacing metal.

I forgot the question and the cryptic answer choices. Seems like not very many people would notice the amateur welding job nor the rest of the newbe metal finishing. Was that the question?! The cats are acting as though they are running out of cat nip by the way so there is that too. Looks good... weld done.

Do your best and fill the rest. I feel the same way about wasps. I was stung by one when I was four and I'm still looking for it's relatives sixty years later.

Dude as someone that has no idea but also no choice but to weld his own floor pan in a van or wait 4 months for someone else to do it ,thanks for the advice and wish me luck. Oh should I take the gas tank out before welding above it 😂

I feel for your mixed emotion between making progress on the truck and supporting video content for your channel. I find that ten minutes of video takes about half an hour of filming and editing. You've mentioned in the past that the filming really slows you down. I will add that I appreciate your efforts to provide entertaining content for your channel. I always enjoy watching.. even the cats. 😊

I think it would be easier to master time travel Kyle, find that truck 40 yrs ago and bring it back to the present day--but where would be the fun (and rust) in that!😆
