Girl, STOP IT! You have such an amazing talent!! That large buffet is so incredible. LOVE the green wine decanter. I only caught the ears of the kitty but yes, a cat always enhances any room!! Cant wait to see what you do with the kitchen. But I doubt anything can beat the living room. One of the best I've ever seen.❤
I honestly can’t believe how well this room came together! The results are amazing. That buffet cleaned up so well! All of the wood is looking so good and I love the pattern on those chairs. The gallery wall, too, it’s just all so good!
Looks very nice, one thing though… those stained glass stickers would look better on the top windows. That’s typically where you see that if it was real, on the top part of the window
Thanks so much! I thought about that! When we open the windows, which is often, they are on top.. so we felt like having the versatility was nice, just because having them on the lower windows gives us some privacy from people at the front door.
LK- you have a gift of working with plaids/checks. The dining chair covers really compliment the classic olive green rug underneath the table well! This is a refreshing change to the white minimalist look! 😊
fabulous job!! i relate SO much, my house is of the same era and style. i love the new dr chandelier, with the shades. exactly the same happened here, 6 over 6 paned windows and 23 of them on one floor. they were broken beyond repair and we got very similar new vinyl. although the old went with the house, the convenience of the new and the air tightness and no rattling took precedence. the mirror looks great, ingenious idea. love the dish towel fabric, i’ve also used large napkins, and for pillows as well. your gallery wall is a beautiful statement. i also have a huge arch between the living room and dining room and have been dying to put my sofa in the same position as yours, i think i will try it. i especially loved seeing you use the restoring products and was so pleased that you did not assault the furniture as i’ve seen so many do! it should not be perfect when it’s almost 100 years old! i’ll be buying some feed and wax, they should sponsor you!!
😍Thank you so much!! I agree its been so much better to have these newer windows as they're 100x easier to open and close and let in the fresh air! And YES no assaulting of vintage furniture please! hahah and it would be a dream if they did sponsor 😉
So many tips you gave us! Everything turned out beautifully! The gallery wall is so interesting and the dining room table and chairs are wonderful with their original wood finish! Thank you for sharing this!
WOAW !!! I LOOOOVE IT !! that's the look i want to do for my kitchen. I've been thrifting & collecting pieces for it , hopefully it will be ready before Christmas.
Just to had to come on here and comment. Your taste is impeccable and you just delivered that stunning makeover with every single choice adding to a cohesive whole, keeping to your theme, making it fresh yet authentic and so quintessentially your own through your colour choices and accents. Your hacks are approachable and so inspiring! Thanks!
So beautiful! Everything looks like it was collected and put together over many years. Great idea on the chair covers. The DYI tips on the stained glass windows, art hanging, and wood refreshing are excellent. I was worried about you pairing a 1950s table with a 1930s sideboard and chairs but it actually looks very nice together. Great work!
Great job, everything looks perfect together, rich and a interesting blend of eras and styles. The gallery wall technique was a great hack that would have saved me alot of pain, and the windows turned out surprisingly well. Mat and lights look awesome too.
Obsessed! Love the eclectic feeling the chair cushions and the rug give and the gallery wall is fabulous!! Also, what you did with the windows make such a great statement.
Beautiful. Much brown…I would recover chairs in a cooler color. Your gallery wall looks fab. I might add some painted furn in here or table cloth/runner to break up the wood and soften. Curtains on windows maybe to soften…
It turned out really good! I love how your gallery wall looks - I really like where the clock is in the mix. The window decal looks really nice. The chair cushions turned out really nice and fits the vibe - I really like them! Good job!
LK!!!!! Everything came together beautifully and the mirror is a stunning one of a kind piece! I'm looking forward to seeing a bedroom makeover in your home.
I know I'm 6m after you did this makeover but still wanted to tell you that everything looks great! If you haven't tried to cut the mirror you could buy some very thin moulding to attach to the grooved out picture spot so it closes the gap and stain it to match the frame. Loved the tea towels! The rug actually looked really great with the colors & grid pattern. The colors all play very well off of each other!! Great job!
The dining room set is beautiful. I love your aesthetic. Old furtuniture is sooo beautiful, well-made and affordable. It's beyond me why anyone buys the cheap mass-produced stuff available these days.
I agree! It's a bit hard to look for.. trying to find items that are in good condition and affordable, etc. but when I do, it's like I'm preaching to everyone "I'm never buying new stuff again!" haha
Great job! Inspired me to recover my vintage dining room chairs & refinish the table. Only thing I’d change is the rug. It doesn’t seem large enough to go under the table, plus love the clean look of your chairs on a wood floor.
I’m just barely seeing this video because I’m a new subscriber. Your dining room came out gorgeous! I love how the mirror turned out and the chairs! Love love love that fabric. I love your “outside the box” thinking too. You’re so clever and have a great designers eye. 🥰
What an awesome vibe. Absolutely love, love, love that chandelier as is. I was thinking I’d like it better without the glass shades, but after seeing everything together I think they’re perfect! Beautiful nod to yesterday with an edgy modern twist. Can I tell you how obsessed I am with those window decals??! 🤯😂 who knew? Loved everything about your makeover ♥️
You are so talented!! I love your creative process! I watched your LR makeover the other day & I happened to notice the cushions on the DR chairs in one of the shots & I thought they were gorgeous! And, girrrl! I never in a million yrs would have guessed that you diy'd them let alone that the textile is an Ikea dish cloth!!!! lol!! The room looks incredible! Those stained glass stickers with the addition of the lines look awesome! I think u may have to replace the blinds w/a linen roman shade or something as a final touch? I'm sure u would pick out the perfect thing! I thoroughly enjoyed watching it all come together!
Beautiful transition! I really liked how you used Restore a Finish and Feed and Wax to clean up the furniture. So often you only see this kind of revision if the furniture has been sanded sanded sanded (repeated x3 on purpose, no typo.). At this point I am not willing to do that kind of work but would like to think I could do what you did here. Nice! Love the gallery wall. I also love seeing the cat walking around and making sure everyone knows he's a household member. Lol
Wow! What a difference! I love everything, but I especially like the new upholstery on the chairs and your gallery wall. I just became a subscriber, because I love what you do!
Oh & PS - the photo of your grandparents at the Chateau Marmont....now that's not something your going to see in other people's dining rooms or homes for that matter!! How cool is that?!!?
Years ago, maybe 2007?, I redid my dining and wanted a white chandelier. No one sold them and online was way too expensive. I painted mine and took the globes off. So, YES, the chandelier looks great without the globes.
I just found you this morning! So glad I did! Now I’m gonna binge watch alllllll the videos!! 🎉. But, omg, you look SO much like Drew Barrymore!! Wow! 😊 Loving your channel!
Another Lovely room, just watched your LR video, they work so well together. I really like your style, the DIY's and your nack for thrifting. The furniture is so pretty. I had a buffet similar to yours; bought it at a yard sale; had it for many years. No place for it in my current house so had to let it go. When I see one like mine, it makes me miss it. Nicely done, look forward to the remainder of the rooms and outside areas. P.S. love those doors with the windows and great idea for faux stained glass.
Vintage, eclectic, modern, you're hitting all the right notes and your editing is outstanding!
Thank you kindly!
I'm obsessed with this dining room makeover! Makes me so happy to see antique furniture getting some TLC and it's so worth it!
thanks so much Joy!!
We love the chandelier without the glass!! We love your channel ❤
Thank you 🤗
ITS SO GOOD!!! it’s shocking you don’t even need paint or wallpaper and it looks sooo much different. good work🎉
Right?! Thank you!!

haha she loves to be on camera!! thank you so much 😍
I love it all, the rug, chair fabric, stain window ....
Thank you so much!! ☺
Love the way the dining room turned out!! It complements the living room but still has it's own vibe 👏
Thank you!

Thank you so much!
Wow that is beautiful. You’ve got a gift.
🥹🥹thank you so much!!
LK- you have a gift of working with plaids/checks. The dining chair covers really compliment the classic olive green rug underneath the table well! This is a refreshing change to the white minimalist look! 😊
Thank you! I’m just loving the squares recently haha!
Love the picture of your grandparents! Perfect.
Ceiling light - beautiful with the globes
You made a lovely job of your dining room.
I hope you and your family and friends continue to be blessed as you enjoy it!!
This is such a sweet comment, thank you!
Light much better than fan over dining table! I like the glass on or off too
I love the chairs with the rug. With one it didn't quite look right but once you added more in definitely looked way better.

Your dining room looks so beautiful. You really nailed it
😍☺Thank you!!
Brilliant! You gave it not only a warm cozy vibe with your color choices (warm colors), but you kept to the period of the home.
Thank you!!😍
Those chairs make the whole room. Love this.❤

wow thank you truly for these kind words! it really means a lot 😍😍🥰🥰

Excellent! I love how you own a piece without changing it up too much. Your work is phenomenal.
Yula, South Africa
Thank you so much! So cool! South Africa is so pretty 😍
Great job, everything looks perfect together, rich and a interesting blend of eras and styles. The gallery wall technique was a great hack that would have saved me alot of pain, and the windows turned out surprisingly well. Mat and lights look awesome too.
thank you so much! truly the gallery wall hack is worth the time instead of drilling in ten holes to get it straight hahah
Obsessed! Love the eclectic feeling the chair cushions and the rug give and the gallery wall is fabulous!! Also, what you did with the windows make such a great statement.
Thanks so much!!
You made brown, beige, used, and old look phenomenal
