It's really beautiful. I like its eclectic vibe. Also..the filming of the house, especially towards the end, is so professional. Best I've seen so far. Good job.
Hi there - I appreciate your channel so much. Your tips about couch/coffee table height are the little details that sometimes just feel off and pointing these out and how you went about remedying the situation makes this channel stand out. Thanks!
I recently came across your channel and like how relatable your style feels. I smiled when I saw your midcentury crab ashtray.🦀 I have the same one that I thrifted years ago and it's also on a stack of books. Love it! 🌻✨️
You have decorated it so beautifully! All of your things look so lovely in the space. I see that your cat has found a new bird watching spot on the white table. What is their name? I can't wait to see how you decorate the rest of your home.
Just found your channel recently and I’ve been slowly but surely going through your videos. While my style is more English cottage than mid-century, I’m really enjoying your channel. Thanks for sharing these posts. Keep up the good work! BTW, European coffee tables are a few inches taller/higher than what we are used to in the US. Since you live in a Spanish-style house, the taller/higher coffee table fits in perfectly ❤😊👍🏼
Oh my goodness, I just found your channel and I’m so glad I did! The style of your home is so different from my own, but I am so enjoying the way you style and repurpose other items to go with your Spanish type decor.
This is just stunning! If I lived in San Diego I would probably spend all my time going places hoping to run into Richard Dreyfuss bc I'm a huge fan and in the meantime, I would seriously copy what you've done here. Everything is just divine! Love your taste.❤❤♥️
I also like the somewhat eclectic vibe of your esthetic also, but as much as I like eclectic it still seems to have to have a lean towards either one important true (& more structured ) style or another (just my pov) so I suppose that in your case this would be the Spanish appeal for you maybe . You might enjoy Lone Fox channel he is redoing a Spanish casa 😁& doing an amazing job honestly
Yes! Coffee table is beautiful! Could it have been a chess table originally? That would explain the height. I like a higher coffee table, anyway. I’d be tempted to look for vintage chess pieces or at least some big ones in ceramic, stone, or even glass. Even synthetic materials, like acrylic, would work if they’re big and heavy enough. I’d arrange a few on that table for fun and move them from time to time. If anyone wanted to play chess, you could clear the table and put out the pieces. Nice , big checkers would work too.
Just found your channel and subscribed love 💕 how it turned out and that ashtray is so unique I don’t smoke but I collect ash tray because of how beautiful they are 😊
Just found your channel and am loving catching up on you videos!! Love the living room. I know I'm late in commenting, but I think turning the shelf so the it is more so it's in the corner and not flat against the wall would be nice. It would be a nice focal point when you walk in the door and the wall it's on feels a little 'heavy' with so many things lined up... boom, boom, boom. Maybe it wouldn't work but might at least be worth a try? ❤
thank you! I decided to keep the bigger one! it felt nice to have a giant rug and it’s protecting the floors, but I am now thinking we might want one a bit more high pile that’s minimal or geometric.. idk!
I would place the fiddle leaf tree by the window on the opposite side and move the furniture to the center of the back of the cough. The other plant is too much for that space. My 2 cents worth.
I thought about that! I did end up moving the rubber tree I think it needs to be repotted anyways lol I might get three out of that one plant! However I thought the fiddle leaf might get crisped by the sun near that window. It’s so fickle!
The fiddle leaf and the rubber tree don't need to be separate. Do a nice grouping with them together. (Where you have the fiddle leaf) instead of on opposite sides of the cabinets.

Looks really nice. A complimentary runner might look nice in front of your mod white table.
It's a lovely room. It's nice that your furniture works so well in the new space. You have very nice pieces and good thrifting skills!
Love the eclectic vibe of the room. Everything works so well together.
I love the eclectic style you have.

I would've just cut 2" off the coffee table height.

thank you! I decided to keep the bigger one! it felt nice to have a giant rug and it’s protecting the floors, but I am now thinking we might want one a bit more high pile that’s minimal or geometric.. idk!
