You did a wonderful job. My friend lives in a home that was built in the 70’s and her house already came with most of these built ins. It’s amazing the nice cabinets homes used to have before builders got cheap on us and cut corners.
This is the first time I see your Chanel and the im blown away by your home improvements and how well you present them. You gave me so many great ideas. Thanks for showing us your projects. And keep going, you’re a natural!
All your storages solutions are great. The LR built-ins for sure a winner. I like how all the storage you added, not only add tons of storage, but look like they've always been there. You've done a great job to add so much storage. Nicely done!
Might sound weird but I love your voice!!! So soothing and soft spoken !!! English is my second language and I can actually understand you. I’m so tired of people talking with the grasp voice, they all sound the same and some do it so deep that I can’t barely understand what they are saying.
We just took our children’s closet doors off completely. Makes their smaller rooms feel more open and prevents them from just throwing things in the closet and shutting the door on the mess.
I'll never be as handy as you, but sooo many great ideas here. So often we accept things the way they are and it doesn't even occur to us to think creatively to make things function better for us. I'm going to go walk around my house now to look for places to improve lol. ❤
Her family is very fortunate! I'm living in a small rental, so I am not the demographic for this video at all. However, i couldn't look away because of all the value this video provides. The inner closet in the daught's room at 11:46 *chef's kiss*
I would love it if you added links to the videos for the projects you mentioned. I’m newer to your channel and would love to see how you switched the sliding doors to French doors.
👏BRAVO👏👏 First time to your channel and I find your visionary qualities and ability to follow-through on those ideas with your talent to build is absolutely AMAZING. I see in your future, Kelsey, as you continue building your channel, tutorials to further monetize your time and efforts. That would certainly help women like me to learn what tools are necessary and all the how-to's to make it happen for our personal dead spaces. Right now, every single room in my small 1500/sf home decries "make me functional too." Your idea to convert a vanity without drawers into a vanity with drawers far more functional. That was the best idea for me in this video because I have always wished I had drawers not realizing that was even possible. I thought I would have to replace the vanity in its entirety just to have a drawer or two. Thank you for sharing!💝💖 Much love to you from Texas.
Great ideas! You are so clever. I love all these ideas to make our homes function efficiently. I’ve always wanted power tools but just haven’t taken the time or energy to learn how to build things myself. You inspire me to keep that dream alive. Thank you!
I did a gut renovation of my bathroom, and had two hidden cabinets with shallow shelves built into the paneling. I also had a shelf made of the scrap marble and installed on brackets between the medicine cabinet and sink. It looks gorgeous, but more importantly I can store my hairspray, makeup brushes, lipgloss, etc there… things I reach for all the time.
Seriously... My favorite channel. Empowering, creative, calm, encouraging, and educational! Thank you for all you do! You have helped me so much to do DIYs in my home!!!❤❤❤
I am so impressed with your skills that if you lived near me, I would become your apprentice! Man I wish I could do all this building and woodworking stuff. *sigh*
So tickled to hear you bought the Mongolian Cashmere Blanket. That is the very best. Have you ever checked out the Story regarding that. How the Sheepherders were not doing well. And 4 guys from America came in and helped them out. Got rid of the middleman and put the profits in the pockets of the families. Great story!
Hi Kelsey. I’ve only just found your videos. I love the way your home looks, and I’m in awe of your ability to make and build things! I like to do some crafts and design in my own home, but as I live in London my home is much smaller, however the ideas you have are really inspiring. I will be moving soon, so will have a blank canvas to put some of your ideas to work. Thank you. Jooles in London 🇬🇧
Just found your channel and I am SO impressed with your carpentry skills! I have subscribed so I can check out your previous videos for inspiration for our home.
Wow! That’s impressive! I wish I can do the same thing like you did. Our house lack storage and I mean a lot of storage. Thank you for sharing your projects! This is very inspirational! ❤❤❤
Hi Kelsey, I think I have watched each and every one of these videos and watched you transform each of these rooms into one beautiful home! Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming! TFS
My first time watching one of your videos, and wow! You are amazing at building things! Every project you shared is so beautiful! Great job! New subscriber 😊🙌
You are so amazingly creative. Love the work u done to your living room. Appreciate if you can tell me what’s the brand of the electric fire place u installed. Hope to hear from u soon.
Beautiful colors and wow, the cabinets look so professional!! What are the pain colors? Don’t have a video on making the cabinets and shelves? You make it look so easy, wow!! So impressive!
Great ideas! Swapping out our little kids wardrobes is so time consuming so when I do it I go all in for a whole day. I'll prep boxes labeled for each new upcoming size. Even if a box is practically empty, I still have it and label it so it's ready to be filled. When they grow out of the current size, the next is washed and ready to be hung up. It becomes a chore only every six months instead of every other month!
Can I share a storage place that almost no one uses but many do have in their homes? The space inside closets above the door. I added 6” long peg rack that extend past the door frame. We use it for everything like gift wrap rolls, caps, walking sticks, rifles, tied lace sneakers, cowboy hat, etc, etc, etc.
Oh my goodness Kelsey! What can you not do?! I watch all Your videos and am Always impressed but gosh seeing what you’ve done to improve your home all At once is AMAZING!
I got attacked by a neighborhood pitbull last year and I still have hand, elbow, shoulder, and neck issues. I like the idea of the retractable hose and think it would help me daily as I atruggle to re-hand the hose and drag it with one arm. And yes, I am a fan of build-ins but they need to be planned as u say
What great ideas! And what a big impact too! Your living room looks amazing, very pretty and comfortable 😊 And your garage is a huge wow!! You can find everything, I have garage envy 😜 The laundry room is absolutely beautiful, that cabinet color is so nice!! And what a sweet mom 🥰 You have definitely made everything look so good and work better for your family. I am making mental notes already 😁
i absolutely love all of your projects! i think you are incredibly talented and id love to attempt woodworking, but i have zero clue where to start. birdhouses? a simple shelf? how did you start?
All great things. I want to go back and watch some of the older videos since I think I started following you when you redid the upstairs hallway. A couple of additional suggestions are pull-out trays in the lower kitchen cabinets. And a between the wall studs pantry as a way to find space. My dad did the pantry for me and it seriously is the best thing ever. I actually prefer it over a walk-in pantry for food storage.
Hi Kelsey! I’m new to your channel with this video and it’s perfect! So relatable to see a beautiful and normal home and how you’ve maximized it for your family. We have 5 kids in 1900 sq feet and function is always top priority!
21:04 You asked what the marble thing was called you put one of the wooden shelves. It’s called a mortar and pestle. They’re used to mash/grind herbs, fruit peels, etc to bring out the essential oils, and flavor essences of herbs, fruit peelings (sometimes used in certain bar drinks too) and spices, in a natural way.
You're amazing Kelsey, would you share where I can purchase the parts to build the bathroom drawers you made from just a cabinet with removal of the center piece to two drawers? starting at 6:ll on your video.
GREAT! projects and ideas! Do you have more in depth tutorials of these and supplies you used? I want to duplicate so many of them! Thank you for sharing!!
I'm curious, how long have you had the retractable hose and is it holding up well? Anything you would change about it? Thanks so much for your video! I gleaned a few ideas I hope to put in place soon, such as the shelves in the closet! Thanks again! Blessings!
I somehow completely missed your video with the shelves in your daughter’s closet. That’s a great use of that dead space and simple to do! I will almost certainly do the same in one of my closets (once I get done with my whole entire bookshelves in my front room I have been working on for months 😂).
Hello Kelsey. Hope you can make a video on basic tools to have and their functions/purpose for one to be able to make simple DIY projects. Thank you :)
@ Understand completely, but got to laugh at what life throws our way. Finally at age, really just laugh after turn off(water)or put out(fire from sawdust) what ever gets throw my way. Survivor
I’m in awe of your ability to visualize a solution and then build it.
I can’t believe how great you are at building things! The bathroom drawers was my favorite diy.

Your familiarity and adeptness with power tools is amazing. Good for you!
Thanks so much!

I wish I was like this...I can't even measure correctly and I don't own a saw if I over measured. I feel useless...:(. Gonna try tho ❤

i absolutely love all of your projects! i think you are incredibly talented and id love to attempt woodworking, but i have zero clue where to start. birdhouses? a simple shelf?
how did you start?
Thank you so much! That’s exactly where I started- smaller craft type projects. If I messed up, it wasn’t a big deal and I could try again.
Awesome tips!!!
I thought I was pretty handy until I just found your channel, you are very talented, thanks for sharing.xx
You are so talented to be able to make all those things from scratch. Everything looked great.
Hi Kelsey! I’m new to your channel with this video and it’s perfect! So relatable to see a beautiful and normal home and how you’ve maximized it for your family. We have 5 kids in 1900 sq feet and function is always top priority!

So many great projects and ideas! 😊❤😊
You are a rock star. I need to get brave and get a saw.😅
The fridge storage was my favorite
You're clearly not just a pretty face! Thanks for being so inspiring for a fellow mom like myself.
I'm curious, how long have you had the retractable hose and is it holding up well? Anything you would change about it? Thanks so much for your video! I gleaned a few ideas I hope to put in place soon, such as the shelves in the closet! Thanks again! Blessings!
It's amazing how you have changed your house, it's so beautiful!!
Thank you!! 😊
I NEEDED this video today!!! Do you have details about how to build some of these projects in other videos? I just subscribed!! 😊
Absolutely! You can go to my channel page and search for whatever project you’re interested in.
I just happened upon your video and I really enjoyed it! Did you have construction/reno experience bc it seems that you can build almost ANYTHING!
would love to see the sink counter transformation in the bathroom
Great video, how did you learn to do the diy’s?
Girrrl, you are amazing! 👏👏👏
These shelves are exactly what I need in my office closet
I somehow completely missed your video with the shelves in your daughter’s closet. That’s a great use of that dead space and simple to do! Just found your channel. Love it!
Welcome!!
Super, but where have you this pieces bought from? Can I find something like this in Ikea ? Please more videos of this Topic. Keep going on 🍀👍🏼
Absolutely you can find products at IKEA. All of the cabinets in my living room are from ikea.
Lots of good ideas! Thanks!

Hi. What size is your bed, and what size is your duvet?
In USA you have different messurement than we do in Norway😅
Kelsey, I am brand new to your channel. Do you make all the cabinets by yourself?
First time viewer. Would love to see how you transformed sliding closet doors.
Just watch her. She added hinges to the outside and pull out doorknobs. I have the same kind in my house.
