This closet would help sell the house if you ever decide to move. Is there a second closet for your husband? Those finishing details do take a long time but you're right about a more professional result. Hopefully, you and the family have gotten to do some fun things before the kids head back to school.
I recently discovered your channel at the beginning of this project. I’m trying to be patient for the final reveal!! This has been a wonderful DIY series. - Julie
This has been my favorite of all your projects. I love seeing the step by step and adjustments and fitting all the pieces of the puzzle together. Smart move on the adjustable shelves for the shoes. I myself LOVE to caulk but HATE to sand. Lol I look forward to the finished product!
It's so nice that you read our comments and open to advise. You'll be glad you added adjustable shelves in the shoe area and light color for the paint. You can always do a feature wall later on. Maybe the wall with no shelving, beadboard on the bottom and pegs to hang things; could do wall paper on the top, or the darker color in that smaller area. It's looking good! Is there another closet in this room for your husband?
That looks so good Kelsey! The trim work and caulking just help finish it off so everything looks seamless. Definitely agree on the lighter paint colour - dark paint inside a closet would make it look so much smaller too. Can't wait to see how it looks with paint next week. Thanks for sharing.
What beautiful work…. Everything you have created just keeps getting better and better. Love your style and how you go about getting it done. Your videos give me hope that I, too, can do work like this! Thank you
Great job! Not sure if you know but you can get finish plugs for pocket holes , they only need a little sanding and will save you plenty of time next time 🖤
It's going great. A laminate or washable carpet for the floors would be much nicer. Are you thinking of a hanger or any ideas for the empty wall on the left?
You always do a great job. Closet looks good. Prep and finishing parts make the project. I was just wondering why you left the carpet in the closet. Trying to remember if it matches the bedroom.
I completely agree, prepping for paint is paramount. Otherwise it will always bother you and it will cost you more time and money redoing it. 'One-&-Done' makes more sense to me. By mid August you will be able to have your new custom designed closet completed and your clothing, shoes, purses, hats and jewelry organized and accessible and that will make Kelsey very happy!
Your closet is looking like those expensive ones rich people can afford. I have to say that you always look beautiful, even when you are covered with saw dust :)
Great job, as always! I don't understand why you don't have more followers? Your work is fantastic!
She has over 41k but yes it should be over a million
Thank you so much 😀
Kelsey your eye for detail is astonishing and I am enjoying the process. Anxiously awaiting the finished project 🤗🤗🙏🏾

Yes my husband has his own closet off of the bathroom. I’m sure I’ll get around to doing his one day.
You always do such a good job Kelsey. Oh good....a light paint color!
Thank you!
Another beautiful project. This closet alone would sell me your house. Great job Kelsey! Excited for the reveal.
Looking great!! Although I might have chosen to get rid of the carpet.
I’m sure we will eventually. We will replace all of the carpet upstairs.

I read every comment. You guys have great ideas. My husband has another closet that’s off of the bathroom.

Looks good! Enjoy your summer, no need to apologize for shorter videos.

I remembered that AFTER I filled them. I actually have some in my garage 🤦🏼♀️
The finishing makes a huge difference! Between custom look & cheap wanna be closet !!
So true!
Excellent work! The attention to detail is wonderful. :)
Your workmanship is amazing! This is why your projects are professional quality. 👏 🙆🏻♀️🤗
Thank you! 😊
It's coming together so beautifully!!! ❤❤❤
Excellent work and great ideas as always!
Looking good👍
It's going great. A laminate or washable carpet for the floors would be much nicer. Are you thinking of a hanger or any ideas for the empty wall on the left?
Yes definitely going to be hanging things there. Probably all of my hats
Your closet is looking more and more amazing! I can't wait to see it all come together!
Me too!!
Looking great you want to do mine lol lol lol good luck can’t wait to see the final result 👏👏👏
You always do a great job. Closet looks good. Prep and finishing parts make the project. I was just wondering why you left the carpet in the closet. Trying to remember if it matches the bedroom.
I have carpet in my closet because it's soft on bare feet. Most people now do LVP.
Yes the carpet matches the bedroom. My husband really prefers carpet in bedrooms.
So do I.
you are so good at caulking mine never goes like that
Some tips-
Less is more. You can add layers.
Dip your finger in water before smoothing if your caulk is bumpy.
Very professional!!
Great job Kelsey, it is really looking very professional, but of course! Kelsey does it the best!🙌
Thanks so much!

That’s the dream! I’m currently just pulling clothes out of a pile on the floor. Can’t wait to organize everything
Great job! Always appreciate your sharing.
Caulk is our friend😂😂 as usual your work is awesome and we all appreciate your videos.
Yes!!! Especially when your walls are NOT straight
You have done such a great job. I can’t wait to see the finished project!
Thank you so much!
I just bought the bondo wood filler today at Lowe’s. Hope I have success with it too. Closet looking good!
It’s a really great product. I love how fast it dries. I just had to learn to mix in small batches
Great job Kelsey as usual. Can wait to see the finished result !!❤
I am wondering about the good-sized space behind the dresser. What will it be used for? A secret hiding spot?
🤣 that’s a great idea. Seems like a good spot for Christmas presents.
Great job as usual..Hope all is well in your personal life.😊
All good- just had a lot going on lately pulling me away from projects.
Love it so far, can't wait to see the finished product!!!
Your closet is looking like those expensive ones rich people can afford. I have to say that you always look beautiful, even when you are covered with saw dust :)
Thank you! Good to know as I’m usually covered with saw dust 🤣
Looks great!
Excellent video.
Great job can’t wait to see it finished
I love it. Beautiful
It looks so good! Great job.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤can't wait
I'd have taken the carpet out and just painted the floor and put down an interesting rug. That carpet is there forever.
No it can be cut out if I decide to change the flooring
How did you drill the holes for the adjustable shelving on the part closest to wall? Did you have to dismantle the cabinet to drill those?
No the jig flips around and butts up against the wall.
How did you learn to do all this?
Todo perfecto pero tenía que haber quitado la moqueta. Ha reformado todo el suelo de la casa, no entiendo porque no has retirado esos 2 m. cuadrados
The bedroom still has carpet
❤❤❤❤❤
👍🏻
I still want to know why you left the carpet?
Why should she get rid of the carpet? Just curious. I have carpet in all of my bedrooms and closets.
The bedroom is carpet. When we eventually change the flooring in the bedroom, I will change out the closet flooring too
👏👏💕
Amazing work as usual …..also you look great you have lost a lot of weight
