Wow! This was such a great workout! I can't tell you how I look forward to working out each day to your videos - has completely transformed how I though about exercise and about myself! No obstacles or excuses for not exercising anymore. I don't have to drive somewhere in bad weather, I don't have to wear anything special, and I have all the hand weights needed for all you have done so far. Thanks for keeping or getting at least 100,000 of us healthier and stronger!

This 61 year old, who has been working out for years, really struggled. My lightest weights are also 2 lbs. Definitely going to do more from this channel. I need to be challenged like this.

I really love your videos. I'm 50, and have had some health issues which have slowed me down. These videos have encouraged me so much. You're relatable, and I specifically love the no talking videos, and the variety you provide. I was so dead set thinking I needed a gym membership to get back at it, but that is not the case! I'm hoping to lose a few pounds, and get some endurance back. ❤❤❤

Another challenge accepted. I don't have any one pound weights so I figured I'd try the 2 pound ones for this. While I could not do all the workout with them, I did use them in and out throughout the entire workouts. I was a puddle of sweat by the end but was energized for the rest of the day! Thank you Jules. 😊

I still keep returning to this one because I love combined cardio/ toning. It is such an efficient way to raise the heart rate and I feel that you do it better than most. The speed of the music is perfect and appropriate for any level of fitness. Please post more like this ❤
Thanks for your great feedback, Robyn. If you go to my playlists, I create 'all-in-one' workouts where I incorporate cardio, strength, balance & flexibility into each workout. You can find the all-in-ones under each level (gentle, beginner and intermediate levels). Each one is a bit different since I change up the combination of cardio and strength.

This is just what I’m looking for warm-up cool down and intense working out. I used 2 pound hand weights, and as I get stronger in my arms I’m gonna move it up to five. Thank you again. @@ImprovedHealth Hi Jules~ This is one of my FAVS and I thought I would share a P.S. comment that might be helpful for other viewers. I use Velcro wrist weights when doing your handheld weight workouts. Less stress on my hands than holding dumbbells, affordable, and available in a variety of weight choices. Maybe, just maybe, that option will encourage someone else. 😊

I love your workouts. I like them to them sitting, (still have pains from being hit by a car last June). I did the workout using 5 lbs weights but I did what I could and did some without weights. They were heavy!
Wow! 5 lbs weights would be tough for a standing workout! I can see why you would have needed to put them down at times. I'm very glad to read that you're enjoying the workouts and modifying them as needed.

After a week of with covid, I've worked out every day so today took...well I thought..easier one but wow my arms ache, but really enjoyed this a lot. Really felt shoulders ache..fantastic

Hey Jules! Thanks so much for this one. Im just coming back from covid, a heart attack, and complications resulting in 2 surgeries. This helps me to rebuild much needed strength and just get moving again. Thanks.
Oh wow, Bonnie! You've had it tough lately. Kudos to you for restarting exercise and for taking care of yourself. Please ensure you watch your heart rate to ensure you're in a safe zone during exercise.
@ImprovedHealth Thanks for the encouragement. Not sure how to check my heart rate, except I pay attention to how I feel and if I can still talk while working out.
@@berandall I find a lot of people have Fitbits or Apple watches, etc., but if you don't, going by how you feel and whether you can talk is a great way to measure how hard you're working out.

Since we used light weights in this one, you can still do a strength workout today/tomorrow (depends on when you actually did this).

Absolutely loved this workout using weights. It was a great all around body workout. Will have to look through all of your playlists for more like this one. Is there another stretch to do for the triceps where I don’t have to raise my arms like you did in this video? See you tomorrow Jules in another one of your many other videos .
Thanks for your feedback, Ann. I do have a few more like this one using light weights. For stretching the triceps, you can also do the same stretch by bringing your bent arm across in front (with your hand/wrist over your shoulder).
