This is a phenomenal workout to build up sweat, flexibility, strength, balance all at a good pace. I enjoyed the no talking setting with lovely music, clear written instructions and timer. The stretching bit is wonderful to loosen up the tired muscles. Thank you Jules.
This exercise was great. It worked every muscle in my body which you don’t find in most fitness programs. With some modifications I was able to keep up. I am definitely going to add this workout as one of my favorite routine workouts. Thank you for showing us seasoned citizens how to become strong by moving daily.❤
Whew! This was a real challenge for me and I’m amazed I could do it (with some slowing down and modifications along the way). I could have never imagined I would work out like this at 74!! Thank you Jules-
I have to say, I am amazed at all of the fit seniors I have on my channel. Two years ago I would never have imagined creating these for seniors but I get so many comments/messages from seniors like you who CAN do it. I always get a smile on my face when I think of seniors taking care of their bodies and staying strong. So many seniors just stop moving and that's the problem. Kudos to you for taking care of yourself and for continuing to move. If all seniors did the same, we'd have far more healthy seniors enjoying life more, and continuing to live independently. I'll keep doing what I'm doing and hope to reach more seniors!

Wowzer! I am 69 and so amazed at how I am progressing with your workouts. I did modify a bit with this one as you suggested.. gonna keep on going. Thank you!!❤
Progress is so satisfying. I’m getting stronger! The last time I did this workout a few months ago, I had a difficult time keeping the pace while using the 2 lb weights. Much easier this time around!!! Stay consistent, don’t give up, and compare yourself to no one else.
What a great way to spend some time in the morning before the sun comes up, when I might otherwise run the risk of being bored (I don't watch TV, consume regular social media, etc) or read and not get limber for my day. Instead, dial up your channel and spend time with YOU and anyone else who might be virtually present in my awareness, then the great enthusiasm you share via your smile and body language... so motivating. Now that I've finished and feel envigorated and alive instead of waiting for the sun to come up and feeling sluggish, I'm ready for my day, hot diggity dawg! Mil grazie, Jules!
Oh, I LOVE your comment and feedback. Thank you SO much. I'm so glad to read that you start your day off with exercise and that you're enjoying the workouts I create.❤️
This is a wonderful low impact multi-discipline workout. At 72 with a history of physical fitness stymied by a disc bulges caused by an osteophyte complex stopped my running programs. I combine stretching with TRF to maintain weight, but cardio fitness is a problem. HIIT in the low impact walk zone is just the thing. Thank you Jules😊

I had torn my rotator cup and had gone through therapy, but still needed surgery and I started working out these workouts and 10 days away from my surgery. I started feeling so much better very little pain and believe me it’s so nice not to have the surgery. I will continue doing these exercises for a very long time. The doctor told me not to work out anymore until surgery. I’m glad I didn’t listen to him.
I too was impressed I stuck it out. There were moments that my arms were rebelling but I talked them into continuing. This is definitely being added to my favorites! Thanks Jules
Thanks Carrie! I'm glad to read you could manage the workout without having to put the weights down (but, by all means, if it's needed that is okay, too!).
I am a fit 57 year old and was looking for a new walking workout for myself. You are fantastic!! I love all the variety on your channel. I am so glad I found you. And I love the fact you don't talk and you give the ques on the screen and listen to your wonderful music.

Woohoo! I find the small weight difference makes a massive difference in how much harder the workout feels. Kudos to you for working hard and being able to move up to 2 lbs!
Just finished doing this workout and enjoyed every bit of it. The most important thing is that you enjoy it doing dancing or singing along. That is why it does not seem like a workout. Time flies away just like that. Moreover it was a fantastic coordination lesson too while doing those different moves. Thanks for that. You are brilliant at making all those wonderful workout videos. Thanks again for making me more energetic as the days go by. Stay blessed Jules❤️
It was too hot in South Alabama to get all of my laps outside, so I looked up a walking with weights videos, and there you were. Thank you. Great finish before I get my housework going.

Hi Jules! After a succession of joint replacement operations over the last 4 years, I was really unfit and at the age of 68, not ready to vegetate. I found your channel 6 weeks ago and although I started with the shorter disco/ 60’s routines, I’ve since transitioned to your longer 30+ minute routines and I’ve begun incorporating weights several times a week. Your videos are excellent, with the minimum of chatter and I love the music which gets me moving. Thanks in part to you, I’ve lost 5lbs in weight and am feeling much fitter too. Keep up the great work 👍🏻xxxx
Oh yay!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know about your progress and that you're enjoying the variety of workouts. I'm very excited for you to be seeing improvements in your strength and fitness and I look forward to reading about your progress again in the future (if you wish to share it).💪
This was a fantastic workout! Physical activity has always been a big part of my life; and being 63 is all the more reason to keep at it. I really enjoy incorporating light dumbbell workouts into my exercise routine; and this workout provided that and so much more! Easy to follow, nice music, and fun! Thanks so much for providing this safe, practical workout! I'll definitely be checking out your other videos!
Thank you! Just so you know, I create gentle, beginner and intermediate level workouts (both seated and standing). I categorize the workouts in the playlists and also on my website (www.improvedhealthforseniors.com). I hope you enjoy more of the workouts as you try them out. Welcome to my channel!
Yeah! Almost 76 end of the month, even with knee problems and a left shoulder that should be replaced....aches and pains.... I did the whole shabang except for a few modifications on the left arm....I have built myself some positive endorfine! Thank you so much, like this personal trainer a lot!
Thank you for your wonderful comment. I'd like to wish you an early happy birthday and all the best for your 76th year! Kudos to you for continuing to exercise to stay strong, healthy and very mobile!
What a great workout! Since I retired a little over a year ago I've been doing many of the workout videos on youtube and I must say I'm tired of them! Many times I turn off the sound because I get tired of the chatter. This workout was like a breath of fresh air and certainly a new challenge! The music was perfect and I'm still cooling down. I know my arms will thank me!
Oh yay! That makes me happy! I have lots of no-talking workouts since a lot of people feel the same way as you do. I try to offer both talking and no-talking since there are others who prefer I explain the exercises. You can find more of my no-talking videos under my playlists:) I hope you enjoy more of them as you get through them. 💖
Loved this workout Jules. Using the lighter weights was awesome. I feel great, and I 'm so thankful that I have you to workout with. You make it so much fun.... the music is also amazing, I can't get enough. THANK-YOU!!
We did this one this morning. We picked up our 2 lb weights, but put our 1 lb ones nearby, in case we couldn’t make it all the way through with the bigger ones. There were a couple of times I wasn’t sure I’d make it, but I did. What a great workout!!

Loved this one again today! It has become my go-to workout when I’m short on time and want a great all-in-one! Thanks Jules! You’ve inspired so many to care for and appreciate the beautiful body they’ve been given!
Thank you so much for this workout. I had quite a day at the office. Not as active as I used to be and I missed running. Been months!!! This truly helped me de-stress.
Thanks Monika! I likely shared it with you already, but just so you know I create 3 levels (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all in the playlists. If you liked this one, you can find more like it in the 'intermediate level' playlists.
Hi Jules! I had forgotten that I started with 3lb weights last time and then switched to 1 lb. I haven't been able to find 2 lb weights. So this time I did 3 lb weights all the way through and it really challenged me but I did it! I like this workout a lot and appreciated all of the arm stretching throughout and the actual arm stretching at the end felt incredible....thank you!
I was thinking about my arms and shoulders today and decided to do this workpot. It isuch a good arm workout (cardio too!) and I am happy to say it was much more doable for me today. That makes me happy because my arms are often a struggle. Thanks for making this video, Jules!
Another wee hidden gem. I went through your channel looking for walk with weight....this is so great on a day when time isnt on your side and u still get your strength in. Few great ab exercises here that I've not seen before. Its great finding these... Absolute magic❤❤❤❤❤
I keep saying that every new workout I try is my favorite. But this is THE one! I used 3 pounds in each hand and it was a challenging workout. I usually complete 3 workouts of yours each day. Thank you so much for helping us become/stay healthy and active.
Thanks so much for your feedback, Pat. I definitely appreciate knowing that you're enjoying the workouts (and feel honoured that you do 3 of mine a day!).
I'm recovering from a heart ablation and I didn't use the weights as much. I really enjoy how you don't talk and the 30 second change in movement. Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for your feedback, Judi. I categorize the no-talking workouts together in the playlists and also on my website which will make it easier for you to find them. My website is www.improvedhealthforseniors.com
I made this morning. I had my doubts I would finish. I had to stop a few times before 30 seconds was up from muscle failure in the latter part of the workout to put the weights down, but I did it. And I was able to go do the gardens for a couple hours with more arm work this afternoon. One thing that has disappeared since doing your workouts Jules is the so called Bat Wings jiggle. Triceps, Biceps. Thanks for this challenging workout.
Yay to the improvement on the arms! Congrats on focusing on the moves each time to gain the benefits from the movements. A gorgeous day to work on the gardens:)
What a wonderful workout Jules. I love... absolutely love...that you don't rush through the stretching exercises. I love the opportunity to just melt. ❤️ Have a wonderful evening 🌆
I do not remember if I have done this one before but I loved it, the music, the moves and thankful for you and the time you put into these great workouts! Thanks Jules🥰
Another short but so intense. I had to modify a few which just gives me room for improvement and a challenge. Used my "3" but want to get to using my 4# weights. Thanks so much.
Jules, I thought I had responded to this workout. I absolutely 💯%, love it. It's what I'm needing right now, with all my medical issues. I'm only a bit, above middle age, but arthritis in both knees, rotator cuff; tear, along with a couple other medical; issues, have set me back, a bit. I needed this, this week. Have done it three days, out in the sun in 85+ degree weather. Getting my vitamin D, sun tan and my exercise, all in at once. Staying plenty; hydrated and not over doing it. Thanks for all you do.👍🙏
Wow! You obviously love the warm weather to be doing this outdoors in 85 degree temperatures! I’m glad you are enjoying it and staying well hydrated, too. Thanks for letting me know you’re enjoying it enough to do it 3 days in a row:) 😀
I enjoy all your workouts but this one was especially appealing. I am rebuilding arm strength after breaking a wrist (hiking, I tripped) and this workout felt good.
I loved this routine! Some of the arm movements were a bit challenging but it really was fun! The very hardest part was coordinating my arms and legs! Thanks, Jules
WOW! Jules, that was so very awesome as usual. I really loved that your workouts are never routine. They are just so full of versatility. I wanted to work my arms but not heavy as I worked them heavy a couple of days ago. This was the perfect workout! Thank you Jules again! Keep these awesome workouts coming...PLEASE!!!
Hi Jules! I tried this workout with 3 lb. weights and got through the first 10 minutes before switching back to 1 lb. ones. I guess I need to get some 2 lb. weights. But either way, I SO enjoy this one! It's great for my arms, the music is so good and it's very energizing. Thank you!
It's amazing how much harder a workout can be going from 1 to 3 lbs. It's great that you tried it, though and now know you can likely move up to 2 lbs from the 1 lb. Progress:)
Fun moves to strengthen/tone arms without standing to count reps. Used 2kg weights. My arms were weary with 7 minutes to go but kept with it. I concentrated on my core when my arms were up and during balance - helps me keep my balance. Thank you for the great variety of videos and movements - never bored.
More like these please. I know in the interval workouts I don’t have to actually jog but somehow I can’t keep myself from doing it. So this all walking workout please is great for me! Thank you. 💃
A great workout with weights I started with 2kg dumbbells and switched to 1kg ankle weights cos I find the 2kg a bit challenging since I just started strength training ... Hope that I can move on to 2kg in the future
Tough! Cognitive vs physical…gotta work on this for sure. Felt like all my movements were under water, but, it is 80 degrees (F) here in Missouri with 75 % humidity at 9 a.m. Thanks for this challenge!
Lovely workout. After 20 minutes I felt to lower my arms to get the blood back into my hands. Background music is often irritating but not here, also ample time for the cooling down.
Afternoon Jules just Did this work out i did most of the waits work out didn't put my waits down just did other exercises with them i must say when i put the waits down my arms felt light as a feather ha ha loved it thank you 💞 xx
I repeated this. Can't 'like' more than once, but I oftentimes repeat your workouts. Eventually I will work my way through the intermediate on active days and gentle on recovery/lazy days. Thank you.
Hi Larryn (unique name, I love it). Welcome to my channel! I hope you continue to enjoy the various workouts as you try some of the other ones. That was great! Found it quite tough. Had a week away moving our daughter into her new house and then went to a wedding. Loved the use of the light weights. Great workout. As for my coordination ......non existent
This is a phenomenal workout to build up sweat, flexibility, strength, balance all at a good pace. I enjoyed the no talking setting with lovely music, clear written instructions and timer. The stretching bit is wonderful to loosen up the tired muscles. Thank you Jules.

I thought this would be easy with 2 lb weights, but boy was I wrong. Loved it! Thanks so much.
2 lb weights in a walking workout is definitely more challenging than it appears!
No way to give up, I said to myself. I turned on the air conditoner 🥵and I did it.
Thanks a lot, dear Jules🌍🙏⚘⚘🌞🇮🇱
Great attitude, Ofra!
I am visualizing myself wearing sleeveless tops this summer and my arms looking great! Doing workouts like this will surely help. Thank you Jules!💕

This is my fovorite from your list I keep going back to it every other day. Thank you for this
Hi Agnes, thanks so much for letting me know that.❤️
When I was thinking about my routine for the day I decided I wanted walking with weights. Then I received this notification. Perfect! Thank you.
Lol, that was convenient:) I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you so much.
It was a great workout. Been looking at some since a couple of weeks. Yours is the one that I love the most
Thanks Monika! I likely shared it with you already, but just so you know I create 3 levels (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all in the playlists. If you liked this one, you can find more like it in the 'intermediate level' playlists.
Enjoyed doing your style, thanks and God bless
Thank you!
Wow! That's impressive, Valerie! Thanks for letting me know that you enjoyed this one.
I was thinking about my arms and shoulders today and decided to do this workpot. It isuch a good arm workout (cardio too!) and I am happy to say it was much more doable for me today. That makes me happy because my arms are often a struggle. Thanks for making this video, Jules!
Getting stronger!
Another wee hidden gem. I went through your channel looking for walk with weight....this is so great on a day when time isnt on your side and u still get your strength in. Few great ab exercises here that I've not seen before. Its great finding these... Absolute magic❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much for always taking the time to comment, Allyson. I appreciate you!
3286 steps, thank you, Loved this workout. Very straightforward.
Thank you for letting me know that you enjoyed it.
I kept waiting for the aerobics to kick in! Wow! All arms, and with weights! I managed most of it, although a little wobbly!
Congrats for finishing it!
Great workout as always, your videos are really helping me on my way back to fitness. Thanks Jules❤
I'm so glad to read that. Thanks Lesley.
Thank you for the great workout! When I couldn't lift the weights I dropped them for a bit. Thanks for another wonderful way to move my body!
Thank you! Using the weights when you can and putting them down as needed is a perfect way to keep building on what you can do.
Thanks, Jules. It's a great workout. I'm a bit out of shape again so some parts I do without weight.
I'm glad you modified the moves that needed to be modified:)
Love all of your exercises that you do,thank you.
Great workout
Jules, your beautiful smile and energy help me to keep on going 😍 I love working out with you! Thank you so much for all you do!! ❤️ Take care 😘
Thank you for your incredibly meaningful
comment, Helena.🫂
Thanks so much, Mala. 🤗
@@ImprovedHealth thank you for your creating your channel. It's a serious God send. 🕊️
I do not remember if I have done this one before but I loved it, the music, the moves and thankful for you and the time you put into these great workouts! Thanks Jules🥰
Aw, thank you!
Another short but so intense. I had to modify a few which just gives me room for improvement and a challenge. Used my "3" but want to get to using my 4# weights. Thanks so much.
I'm glad to read that you modified exercises as needed (and have future goals, too).❤️
Jules, I thought I had responded to this workout.
Sorry to hear about your wrist, but I am glad you are recovering and working to rebuild strength:)
I loved this routine! Some of the arm movements were a bit challenging but it really was fun! The very hardest part was coordinating my arms and legs! Thanks, Jules
As you could see, I had time coordinating my arms and legs, too! ❤️
My favorite workout of yours, but I think they're all great!
Thanks for letting me know you enjoy this one, Fern.
You always make me smile. Thank you, Vani.
Progress:)
Oh Jules! Your routines are getting better & better! I want to include this one 3 times a week. These arms of mine need this workout! 😊💛🤣
Thanks so much, Missy. I definitely appreciate your comment. ❤️
Another fabulous and challenging workout. Many thanks Jules.
Thanks so much, Margaret:)
Thanks so much for your feedback, Barbara. Made my heart sing when you said, ‘never bored’.❤️
I think this is my favorite workout now. Thank you.
Thanks so much for that feedback.
More like these please. I know in the interval workouts I don’t have to actually jog but somehow I can’t keep myself from doing it. So this all walking workout please is great for me! Thank you. 💃
Thanks for the request:)
A great workout with weights I started with 2kg dumbbells and switched to 1kg ankle weights cos I find the 2kg a bit challenging since I just started strength training ... Hope that I can move on to 2kg in the future
Definitely a good idea to start light and move up over time when you're ready:)
Whew, this one really kicked my bum! Super effective. Great combo of all the things.
Love this workout, puts a step in my stepper 😀and makes me feel good . Thank you for inspiring so many of us!
Thanks Jackie...especially loved, 'puts a step in my stepper'. 😊
I've come back to this one a couple times, its a good one, thanks.
I like switching up my weights, bigger sweat.
p.
Glad to read that you enjoy using weights:)
Tough! Cognitive vs physical…gotta work on this for sure. Felt like all my movements were under water, but, it is 80 degrees (F) here in Missouri with 75 % humidity at 9 a.m. Thanks for this challenge!
It was a cognitive challenge for me, too! It's hot here today, too and incredibly humid. Thank goodness for a/c so workouts are still manageable:)
Lovely workout. After 20 minutes I felt to lower my arms to get the blood back into my hands. Background music is often irritating but not here, also ample time for the cooling down.
Thank you so much for your feedback, Ella.
Afternoon Jules just Did this work out i did most of the waits work out didn't put my waits down just did other exercises with them i must say when i put the waits down my arms felt light as a feather ha ha loved it thank you 💞 xx
Sounds like it was definitely an effective workout! Congrats for choosing weights that challenged you!
AWESOME WORKOUT JULES!!! LOVE THE ENCOURAGEMENT!!! BLESSINGS...MAMA G 💝
Thank you!!!❤️
Enjoyed another great workout Jules! Thank you !
Thanks so much, Lesa. ❤️
I repeated this. Can't 'like' more than once, but I oftentimes repeat your workouts. Eventually I will work my way through the intermediate on active days and gentle on recovery/lazy days. Thank you.
I’m so glad that both levels work well for you. Thanks for that info.
Thank you for another wonderful workout. You are doing such a service for all of us who exercise along with you.
Aww, thank you, Marcia. I appreciate your comment.
Thank you for this video! First time working out with you, and it challenged me. I'll be exercising with you again.
Hi Larryn (unique name, I love it). Welcome to my channel! I hope you continue to enjoy the various workouts as you try some of the other ones. If you go to my playlists, you'll be able to find the workouts that suit you best. If you liked this one, I'd recommend trying my other intermediate standing workouts. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
That was great! Found it quite tough. Had a week away moving our daughter into her new house and then went to a wedding. Loved the use of the light weights. Great workout. As for my coordination ......non existent
Wow, that's a busy week for you and I'm sure the moving was a huge workout in itself! Welcome back!
I hate we only got one workout in yesterday, but we’ll try again today.
This one was a great one to begin our day!!
This is a great choice of a workout to make up for yesterday:)
