    are the non velocore versions just garbage? i know the stealth uses them as their default but i tried a velocore venuts and it felt WAY better

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  6 месяцев назад

      The materials used in the Velocore version are much more stable. The base quality of the stock versions has certainly improved and there are players that the non-Velocore version actually suits more but structurally they are pretty different

      my fitter didnt even consider the non velocore versions as he said they are crap and their shop doesnt even use them with their fittings. is this valid?

    fujikura speeder nx red vs Ventus TR Red 5 FW .... 2 of the shafts for the stealth2....which is better and what are the differences ? thx

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  Год назад +2

      The Speeder NX is the slightly lighter and softer shaft for a higher launch, the Ventus TR is a more stable butt and lower flight, however the stock shafts are not the same as the aftermarket versions and are a very much watered down offering with different materials and structures to the aftermarket shafts.
      The flight differences retain (hence the Speeder NX is the one as standard in the HD model) but ultimately the better weight for you will give greater consistency

    Great video thank you. Would it be possible to review ( or provide similar feedback) for the blue 6s vs 7s velocore

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  10 месяцев назад +1

      If you mean the Velocore in both weights then we may not compare that in a video as the main difference is the weight as the profiles and design are essentially identical but if I have misunderstood the question please let me know

    • @billm100
      @billm100 10 месяцев назад

      Thank you for your reply. I just really wanted to understand the difference with velocore blue 6s vs 7s. So what would normally be the main difference. Many thanks

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@billm100 just weight and in principle the heavier model being marginally lower launch (this is only due to more materials not change in profile). Otherwise nothing changes

    Are The Fairway Shaft cut down Driver Shafts or are they made specifically to a Fairway length.

  • @tuckleberryfin75
    @tuckleberryfin75 Год назад

    Which one would you or do you play? My swing and speed is very similar to yours and similar numbers with driver. I currently game the standard hzrdus black gen4 in my tsr3 but contemplating looking into some ventus model and I’m curious what you would choose to game based on the similarities in our swings. Thanks!

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  Год назад +1

      Even though our swing data can be the same the delivery pattern and how much we pull on the club can be different, meaning where the balance point in the shaft needs to be can be different. The Hzrdus Black Gen4 is not a tip weighted shaft so if that swings well for you then one of the Ventus TR shafts is likely to time better but if you tend to lose the feel for the head with your Hzrdus then that “standard” Ventus models will swing better.
      For me the Ventus model that worked best was the Ventus Black 6 S as I have always preferred a slightly stiffer feel and more tip balanced shaft, however please test them first before you buy one as that is the only way to be certain.

    I’m torn between the velocore blue 5 and the TR blue 5
    Would the TR blue be aimed at someone with higher club head speed ?

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  5 месяцев назад

      In theory it yes as the firmer butt section can withstand a stronger load profile but the change in balance point means that ultimately one will find better than the other so I would prioritise that over the slightly different stiffness

    • @craigsampson4602
      @craigsampson4602 5 месяцев назад

      @@Precision_Golf the only reason I ask is that my club head speed average is 90mph and I’m torn between the two ,I’ve used a ventus blue 5 regular in a sim 2 the last 2-3 years but know have a stealth 2 plus and want a velocore shaft

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  5 месяцев назад

      @@craigsampson4602 the best way now is to hit them side by side and see which swings best but if the original blue 5 worked well then it is likely (but not guaranteed) that this will still be the case

    How do they compare with the AV Xlink white and blue?

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  6 месяцев назад +1

      The AV white is more similar to Ventus TR in their but both Ventus shafts will be lower spin in principle than the AV Blue as the Ventus Blue and TR blue have very stiff tip sections. The AV Blue should be more responsive feeling and give a bit more kick through the middle so a little higher launch too
