Gameboy Advance HDMI Kit - Play your Gameboy on a TV!
In this episode of my random repairs series i add capability for my Gameboy Advance to be played on pretty much any TV with a HDMI connection. Well okay, its a HDMI mini mod but if you have a HDMI mini to HDMI adapter then you are all set! This particular kit that i am installing is known as the two wire HDMI kit and its surprisingly compatible with alot of IPS kits and even the original gameboy screen.

Excellent vid!!! What are the specs of the wires you used to connect SO1 and SO2? Are they made of copper?? Are they 26 AWG or less??

The TV incompatibility could be the result of the output framerate matching the GBA, assuming that’s the case.

Do you think it would be possible to repurpose/mod a Gamecube link cable to house the mini hdmi cable for a more secure connection?

So it is normal to have audio still coming out of the gba? I was wondering if I did something wrong.

mine comes out of the GBA speaker aswell as the TV at the same time
