Yea i did the V5 mod as well. I state that the V4 is loads better because of the bigger screen ratio. Also, the colors on the V4 seem to be more vibrant.
V4 all the way then for me I guess. Too bad the screen size took that tiny size hit, looks like the first version of GBC TFT screens that hit the market a few years back.
Not a bad video but when you got to soldering the speaker to the pcb you did a absolutely horrible job on that one thing. Anyways you should have been more careful to keep your wire insulation out of the hole to prevent it from making the contact with the wire and pad as good as it should be this might be a future problem with that gameboy at some point. Anyways again not a bad video that is my one and only criticism for this video is the soldering of the speaker to the pcb pads. Thanks again for the video. 🙂👍✌

i think i prefer the V4 OSD version too
I would have liked to see gameplay video not just the no game inserted rectangle.

Not actually connecting it to a tv which is the unique feature of this screen, renders the video irrelevant
