- The OG Xbox has been an easy system to mod throughout its life but now it is easier than ever thanks to the Endgame Exploit! Any Xbox regardless of whether it has a working DVD Drive can be easily softmodded with the latest version of Rocky5's Softmodding toolkit. All you need to mod your system is a compatible USB Thumb Drive and a few programs! This guide will take you through the initial softmod and cover swapping out the default replacement dash with the Rocky5 Extras Disc. Once modded you can check out my HDD swap guide to increase your HDD size!

Thank you for mentioning that if your initial glitch fails you can turn your Xbox off and try again!
Followed the tutorial got up to plugging the USB back into the Xbox with the files needed.
Once I go to the Memory on Xbox it freezes for a long time like over 30 minutes with no flashing lights. I haven't done anything differently, just been scratching my head trying to figure out the issue. I've turned off the console several times and have even changed ports after turning it off with no luck.
Can you tell me everything i need bc it's my birthday in two months and i want a original xbox

You will need a larger drive if you want to take advantage of the mod. Softmod should take care of you just fine to start off with.

Can someone help please. So how do you get the games off the disc onto the hardrive. I dont understand. This mod is meant to not have to use the dvd drive. So how do we get the games from the disc to the hardrive?
This is a softmod that no longer requires a working DVD drive to achieve. You can still use DVD2Xbox to copy games if you have a working DVD drive.
can i put the exploit directly on the disk drive without the need to use any usb? i have IDE to usb adapter so i thought that it could be possible
No you need to do it as shown
I just wish that we could someday softmod a Xbox360 with only a usb drive without installing any chip to the motherboard.
The new hacks are at least easier than ever but agreed, a software solution would be great.

Literally just did this last night before your post. By the way it doesent work when using a brook xb2 I had to pull it out for the exploit to go past the orb screen.

But how do I transfer an xiso Xbox game to the og Xbox? Do I just do it the same way you did the other iso file connecting to the Xbox IP and drag and drop?

@@1CrackKane1 yes. i used a program called WinSCP. you get IP of your xbox and insert it in the program to connect to it from your pc. then drag and drop the ISO into the proper folder in your xbox HDD. keep in mind. the game file must be converted into the proper format in order for the xbox to read it as a game. I used Xbox Image Browse for that.

You need it to make an account and it is useful for the connection troubleshooter for those times it decides to not play nice.
@@ArchadesGames so i have an insignia installed thanks to your videos.. so I can install this soft mod with the dashboard you chose and be good to go.
After doing the softmod you might need to run the insignia setup assistant and clear the ticket cache otherwise yes it should be fine
