Albert Collins didn't like anybody, but he loved Stevie. When SRV played with the blues legends, he never tried to outshine them. Pure class!
SRV at the feet of his mentor the velvet bulldozer...awesome!
Albert King’s hands were so big he looks like he’s playing a hello kitty guitar.
Albert King the legend that knows the blue's from a to z and double back again..Stevie Ray Vaughan leaning on Albert was a smart move..Stevie become the legend he is..blue's and rock n roll Stevie was gifted with and Sensational stands out in front lead of him...phenominal is Stevie Ray Vaughan and Albert King..both are sadly missed..RIP legends..its not the sky is crying..its called my heart is crying..r you with me?
Albert King and 'Little Stevie' .... phenomenal talent.
I just can't get enough of this concert! Stevie stole Albert's heart and not many have been able to do that!
💕 💞 💓 💗 💖
Quilte please ! Albert was just goin along to git along. Albert knew damn well that and could hear that this boy is tryin but he ain't got it.Albert even is said to have lightly checked Stevie Ray Vaughan for "Usin'his shit on David Bowie's Let's Dance .Don't think any other guitarist had Albert's heart and love for as Jimi Hendrix ,whom Albert did teach some tricks of the trade when it came to bending strings .
Two blues legends laying it down smooth. Doesn't get much better than that.
Two legends two absolute geniuses of their craft mind blowing performance just perfection could listen to Stevie all day long!! 💕 RIP SRV and AK
And that bass player was TIGHT!
How can anyone not love this...? 2 Greats just feeding off each other...Think they weren't havin' FUN!
Just 2 masters of their craft reveling in each other without saying a word! Truly awe inspiring. Keep up the great work pat, I always look forward to your videos.
They just don't make them like they use to amazing performance by two legends
I loved 'em both, and when you're listening, as Mississippi Fred McDowell said, "You got to move".
This was Yoda and Obi-Wan of the blues having fun together. The whole show was awesome! At the point at the beginning of Texas Flood when Albert was showing Stevie some admiration and giving him advice, Stevie was like a small child, wide-eyed and attentive, and I just melted.
Lady Blues singer Please !
So miss me with all that Jedi Bullshit,Stevie sounds like a Padawan. This coked out culture vulture ass clown copies and tries to Imitate everything Albert King and Jimi Hendrix ever did and made more money than Albert King ever did .
Oh my goodness. 3 1/2 mins in and my foot won't stop tapping and in in my happy place. Wish I knew of these two when alive. But I'm sure enjoying them this year. Keep.them coming Pat.....first one in which I have never heard SRV not sing.
You made my day when you said you're thinking of playing the whole session! Absolutely!
Love the bass line in this song.
i love the guitar and Steve was a friggin legend..... one of if not at the time worlds best guitar players....but with the 2 together holy crap.....weas awesome to watch ....thanks so much for sharing.....sooooo much soul.....liked
Can’t forget the bassist and drummer holding down the beat keeping it right on timr
Please do the whole jam session!
Yes do it!!
Great video! Caught just in time. crazy !!!
Two legends & masters at their craft playing together.... you gotta love it ! ...... 😎🎸 😎🎸
LOVE IT PAT! Cheers mate!
The electric bill for the AC musta been huge when these two had jam sessions. They brought the bacon , eggs, and a tall stack to the studio for sure!
THANK YOU!!!
SRV and his mentor...so effortless. I’ve always said, you can close your eyes and know when SRV is playing. This video proves it...his sound!
David Bowie’s Let’s Dance - Knew it was SRV playing although David did not credit him. That was very early SRV days but, I was already a fan. David lost a fan after the video was released and Bowie is seen fake-playing SRV’s solo. It wasn’t until SRV fandom grew and people picked up that he was playing on the track. Bowie NEVER acknowledge SRV nor, why he excluded him.
Pat, you will know him with your eye closed. Should react to the video now since I’ve put the background out there.
Just like with his work on china girl
pat keep up with the great work 💜
Amazing reaction my friend. ❤
People before you get in your feelings ! You can crown Stevie Ray Vaughan,Clapton,Page, etc all you want, but the Blues is something that is not only felt but something you've been through in life, not Copied !
Awesome!!!
Been waiting for someone to react to this performance
May need more then one beer for the whole set BTW
If you don’t really know Albert King, his “Blues Power” from Live At The Fillmore West in mic drop nasty. Get you some of that ASAP.
Better yet! Do a collab with Snoop Dogg on the whole set. The two of you pissed while jamming to these two would be epic!
Not sure if he's in this version but on the original track Donald "Duck" Dunn was the bassist and had a hell of a groove in this song! Any song with the Duck was grooving! Great song choice and video
Excellent Review PG
You should check out this one (our decades in the Sun(album versjon)) ruclips.net/video/8NC7259TPgE/видео.html from Nightwish album with Floor. Absolutely beautiful. Hoping to see them do that one live Next year 😍

As a Texan who grew up listening to SRV, it does my heart proud to see a new generation find his music. Try this:

You need to check out Luther Allison at Ann Arbor.
Dude, please react to Dimmu Borgir - Gateways (Forces of the Northern Night live) video. Orchestral metal with choir - it's amazing!
And to think Albert king is left handed and just took a right-handed guitai and fliiped it without re.stringing it, meaning that the thin string is on top and thick string on the bottom
If you like SRV you might like this man, Joe Satriani. I highly recommend "Satriani Live" Made of Tears. I'd really like to see you do a reaction Video to this. Here's the link to his video,
Can we get some more maiden? :O

You should check out VoicePlay’s “True Colors” that just dropped! Its so beautiful!
Man I don't know if this is a fact but, you need to interrupt the concert now and then for copyright bullshite.
I don't know so maybe someone else does.
Quit fucking around.....you wanna hear some dynamite guitar work?
Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" off his self titled 1975 album. Then, check out the Outlaws "Green grass & high tides". These two songs will make a believer out of you.
Looking forward to seeing you react to "the Nuge". Then, I'm positive you'll want to react to the Outlaws.
Stevie tries but he,Clapton,Page,Beck,Richards, they Never ever could Master that Stang as Albert King,Albert Collins,Buddy Guy, and Jimi Hendrix when he was in his right , did/does . Too bad this song didn't make the cut on this C.D..
