Final Fantasy 12 Necrohol of Nabudis Walkthrough Guide
Necrohol of Nabudis is an optional dungeon which contains some bosses, very nice loot and a brand new Esper! I show you how to make your way through this place along with strategies for the two bosses.

Final Fantasy 12 was first released way back in 2006 on the PS2. At the time, it was considered somewhat controversial by many Final Fantasy fans due to its departure from traditional FF gameplay. However, it is now looked back on fondly and many would consider Final Fantasy XII to be the best entry in the franchise. In 2007 the International Zodiac edition was released (in Japan only), and this version of the game included a more traditional job-based system and a new battle areana. For this remastered release, these additional changes are being brought to us fans in the West for the first time ever - along with high resolution textures and remastered soundtrack!

Another thing to mention is that you can get the Maximilian armor from the flying bats. You actually got it in the video and didn’t realize it. It’s a very strong suit of heavy armor with good defense and speed. It’s great for a physical attack DPS build combined with the sash. You missed the Hermès sandals that was right next to the red mimic pot. It gives you haste when equipped.
That room you entered at 29:49....If facing into the room...got to the far left hand side corner...THERE IS A HIDDEN MERCHANT.....WITH GOOD GEAR AND ITEMS....You will see the 3 ??? then hit your X button and he comes out......This was from the original game,so the zodiac may not have it.
Did they take them out or move them for zodiac age? I can’t get him to show up
The zodiac version is different they did changes its location. You prolly already know but in case you dont the new location for the secret merchant for zodiac age ff12 is now in

If you set gambit to enemy any - dispel, it will use dispel on them if they have any buffs,
When you have both an item and spell gambit of the same effect set to different characters, they will both attempt to use it instead of just the necessary one, i.e. having Phoenix down and Raise set means BOTH characters gambits will trigger on a KO'd ally, wasting an action and item/mp.
At 18:30 when Helvenik turns up and he puts it at 4 x speed - that is insane! 100,000 HP gone fast

Something which happened to Me:
Whilst I was hunting Deathscythe, I encountered Helevnik, and THEN Deathscythe appeared. Still got out of the scenario.
I have two characters at level 64, one at 51, two at 50, and one at 41. I'm confident I could take on the bosses and esper, but man, the regular enemies in this place intimidate me more than the bosses do.

fuzz might have covered this in another vid but the Oversouls have a 1% drop of Staff of the Magi and the little floating demon assholes have a 1% drop of Maximillian...good to keep an eye out for them to drop, one time lady luck smiled and gave me TWO SotM AND 2 Maximillian in the same trip into the Necrohol
Neotemplarking2112 I actually got the maximillian drop from them. My jaw dropped and I said to myself I just wasted the rest of my luck on this bastard. I didn't believe it at first until I decided to check my inventory and there it was. Then that demon horse popped up, and all I got was a damn lamp.
Luffione you can imagine my surprise when i got four 1% drops in the same run haha, this was on weak mode too...granted i have 3 Seitengrat bows but it's still hard on weak mode cause at most i can do like...5-6k with Bravery and Berserk even with the OP bow

Thanks! This is a new way of doing a walkthrough for me, keeping the story sections as part of the numbered episodes then having the optional side content as stand a lone videos. It lets people choose what they want to do, find what they need in search and it seems to be working well :)

You never mentioned the secret SHOP in there. It doesn’t sell that many good items until you get past Bahamut. He is the only place that sells Hi-Ethers after that point in the story. After the Draklor labs he sells some useful ammo types for every ranged weapon.
My characters are in the 60s. Its nearly impossible to hit Fury once it's gets low. Best to use quickenings and get it in one final go.

If you ever play again, a Red Mage / Black Mage dominates with Dark magic
Try a cameo belt if you have one. Increases hit chance I believe.

All of my characters are lvl 64 and I don't have Reddas. We dropped the enemies so fast and I didnt even mess with the gambits

The Baknamy enemies are truly the spawn of Satan. I know they can be taken out with blizzard. But man, are they annoying. I remember running through the dungeon just to get the Zodiac spear, in the first game.
