    I have never thought about using cilantro stems in a sauce. I love ways to avoid food waste and just new ways to use ingredients in general. This salad is rocking texture and flavor, awesome video!

    So many colors and textures! I love a super colorful salad like you put together. I am a big fan of the fried shallots, I’ll have to try that soon!

      I didn't realize beef prices have gone up there in the States. It's also a special treat in Germany. Here it's pork country.

    Now I know why the salt and room temp are important for the steak!

      There are "studies" about the room temp thing and apparently the meat temperature doesn't really shift a whole lot even after one hour, but I kinda do it out of habit.😂 The salting ahead of time, however, is crucial in my book. With a thicker cut steak, it's best to salt and keep overnight in the fridge over a grate. The more moisture you can get out of the steak the better cook you'll get on that crust.✌🏾
