- Today we've got an update on our 1968 Topps Set Build. It's going extremely well! We've made a ton of progress in a very short period of time. Check out the cards we've picked up in the last week, including a few really big names like Dick Allen, Norm Cash and more. We also discuss our process for set building and what's coming next.
Later, we show some wins from the recent Collector Connection Prewar vintage baseball auction. We got three extremely cool cards, and an exciting tobacco slab with a huge Hall of Fame star. It's the kind of card you don't see everyday.

Regarding the 1968 Topps set, your delving into this set build calls to mine when I did mine in 2022. I'd love to share my story as how long it took me, cost and thrill of a favorite set of mine but don't want to inundate the comment section. If you'd like to read that story, I could share it via email. The need to add this set to my collection is built around a favorite in Reggie Smith. I subscribed to your channel tripping on it today. What method of wax removal from cards did you elude to?
There are a few different ways to do it, but I cut up cheap black bicycle shorts and use the pieces to clean off the cards. People also say pantyhose works, but I haven’t tried it.
