Congratulations on the new truck. The dollar store, target or Walmart has the rubber drawer liners that you can use on the vinyl surface of the truck. That would allow you to still use your wire baskets without them slipping around.
Whatever company you work for seems to know how lucky they are to have you as an employee. Your gratitude and work ethic is their reward. Peace & Love 💕
Hi Niesha, congrats on getting a newer truck! I like the dark colors inside the truck, just like you do. I hope you are doing well. I love watching your videos, keep up the great work. Pepper is adorable! I'm glad you have a riding partner to share your trucking journeys out on the road. Be safe! - Mike
Hey just remember our conversation about the new truck smell in that same type of truck so during the day u have allow air Inside while ur driving for the 1st 30 days or ur gonna get those headaches from the formaldehyde that plastic is made of the heat will cause fumes to recirculate in the air u breathe...ur gonna love/hate the early detection system..lol..good running Ms lady ride hard..get u some sat/ wireless wifi n a Tv
@Niesha K I'm not sure if u have resolved the sliding of your baskets you can go to the dollar tree and get the non slip carpet pads or the fabric cabinet liners to keep your baskets from sliding. Love your videos!
Thank you. They just got rid of my 2018 and my new 2022 isn’t licences yet. Enjoying the time off. Gettin a few things done. One thing I picked up on with the new one is the automatic idle shutdown on it. Presently set for 5 minutes. Not sure what the contingency plan is for sleeping when the temp is a hundred plus or below 0 F. It’s got a bunk heater, so stayin warm isn’t a problem, but getting it started below 0 F could be an issue. We’ll see.
The pros for me are definitely the lighting, quiet ride, space and storage. The only con on my new one is it has the Cummins instead of the Detroit. It really struggles. If you have the Detroit, you will probably love this truck over all. Romans 8:29
As far as coolers go, just like with anything else, a surge protector will extend the life and protect from burning out…. Also, dry ice last way longer than freezer packs. A thin cut block of dry ice will last 2-3 days.
That's the kinda truck I use. The big area that opens up to hang clothes on.. I converted it into a dresser ... got the rack an stands at home depot an made it fit into the dimensions
Toolbox draw matting is anti slip . It's cheap n lots of colors. U can cut into shape wid scissors n dnt require glue or velcro. Try it. It works great
3 of us just started a trucking company. 1 is an experienced driver. The other handles logistics (Monday morning there was 4600 loads on the board). I do the mechanics and preventive maintenance. We are getting between$4-$6 per mile (some companies get more). Mechanical insurance for repairs pays VERY well. We are already looking to buy 2 more trucks. Though it's a blessing to have a new truck, it amazes me that these corporations keep you comfortable while you're missing the real money. Do the math.
So I take it that you are still over the road driver, really nice truck they gave you, it's automatic which is probably a lot better than manual, God bless you and keep you safe 🙏
HI NIESHA !! You are such a beautiful MODEL and sales person hope that company pays you for the comercial YOU DESERVE IT!! GOD KEEPS BLESSING YOU DEAR !!!
Congratulations 🎉🍾🎊🎈 Niesha on getting that 2022 Freightliner Cascadia. I got a Cascadia (2020) it was brand new when my employer’s gave me it back in 2019. Thanks for sharing this video lol.
I noticed while going to dealerships that all trucks have optional buttons some have them others don't. It's how they either roll them out the assembly line or how customer requests it.
There's this rubber feeling mesh cabinet liner that grips and no glue or anything like that required you should be able to find it where the kitchen stuff is it's good for keeping stuff from sliding and slipping you just have to cut it in pieces
As far as both of your Caccadias the only changes Freightliner did was the front end the doors, windows and interior. But other than that they are both the same frame. So from behind you can't tell the difference. Even the day cab.
Baby girl I just hopped in the new cascadia and omg 12 miles but I’m On my way to the yard no tv mount or inverter but no cap this truck have sensors everywhere
I have noticed that the new Cascadia sleeper it seems darker in the cab area but I have noticed on both the new style and old style day cab the new style is lighter inside than the old style since the old style day cab has dark gray ceilings and the new style light gray. I hope to get a 2022 Cascadia at Ruan after I pass my road test and DOT Physical. I rarely see pics or vids of Ruans newer day cabs so I don't know if Ill be getting a day cab or a sleeper but I know Ill be home daily.
Congratulations, on the new ride! Overall, great video, on the interior differences. I wonder why you received, to date, 15 thumbs down? I think truckers, would have looked for you to talk about some of the mechanical/engine differences. Stuff like turn radius; wheel base; gear ratio. I recognize, that’s not your Area of expertise! But something to consider, stepping up your game and knowledge.
Good advice to her but as for dislikes, people are always gonna hate. That should not be her concern. She got over 1000 likes and only 21 dislikes. She is brave out there as a road warrior so young. She is a millennial truck driver. There are many other vlogs based on different aspects of trucking. She is more focused on the lifestyle and making other young folks aware of the possibilities in the field. Them haters ain’t making videos, editing and sharing like Niesha. That’s a lot of work. I don’t even know her but I am proud of her efforts. It’s only going to grow right.
Pre-emissions are the only way to go! Cat C15 is good for a million five. But if you like it the I love it...! I got a Chihuahua named "Trucker" Be safe and may God bless you!!!
Good for you getting a new truck. You'll make it your own before you realize it, but I'm confused. You suggested that you get home every week. How much storage do you really need? I'm not trying to be a jerk. I'm a long time driver +40, and these days I go home most nights. I carry the least amount of things possible, outside regular safety stuff.
Yea my company sold my 2018 Freightliner cause the warranty runs out after 400k and got me a 2022 International... I miss my Freightliner 😅, definitely what imma buy when I go Owner Op
With the company I’m with I started in December 2020 they put me in a 2016 freightliner it had a custom ac unit but anyways the said by springtime or summertime I will be in a brand new truck so now of March 2021 they put me in a 2022 freightliner it only had 148 miles on it now June 2 2021 I have over 20,000 miles on it
pepper will be happy with the new truck now that you have a new truck you can buy some sweathers for pepper for the winter times when you are traveling in snow and cold weather i notice that morning you had your coat on but no sweather for pepper to put on the hard cold is not good for puppies bones so just and case you shave her dont for get her winter sweathers from now on enjoy your new truck you deserve it bob sims
Congrats! I got into a 2022 today myself. Only 30 miles on the beauty

I was just about commented on the same thing when seeing this video thanks!!😄
You should make a video about how you care for Pepper on the road. Congrats on the new truck, it looks nice!
