I drive a Kenworth T680 with an X15 500 HP Cummins. I bought it brand new in August 2018. The model is a 2019. Now with 390,540 miles. I wanted to buy a new 2022 and sell this one...... Even my sales agent said. TRUCKS ARE OVER PRICE RIGHT NOW. I paid $142,500 now is $280,000 for a 2022 model. It should be at no more then $165,000 an increase of about $5,300 per year that is normal. For a $280,000 it is crazy !!! I will wait till there is enough trucks to keep a fair price..... We are patiently waiting for model year 22's to arrive, I guess KW is back logged with orders cuz they can't get parts... when will the current 680 design be phased out, 23 model year?
The old style T680 was phased out this year in favour of the Next Gen. I think the last on line were this past month. Ordered last spring.
