    Great to see you out there. Always have fun watching you. Camping in the snow could be a lot of fun but at the same time it could be a total nightmare. Maybe look into getting a canvas tent especially for the winter. I have a 10 by 10 yeah when it's broken down it probably weighs as much as my big normal tent that I have. What's cool about the canvas tent is you could use small trees for the polls to stand the tent up. Plus no condensation problems with the wood stove and 4 people in it. Nothing worse camping in the snow and cold is water dripping in the tent or the condensation and makes everything slightly damp. As always thanks for the time you put into making it videos for us.

    • @papabear9481

    Hey, I was thinking. With that condensation in the tent, you probably should've cracked a window to get some ventilation. Might've helped. The tent material couldn't breathe. Altogether, it looked like a good time. Too bad the other dude got called into work so early. Poor guy.

    That's the problem with propane. When you burn the gas it puts out to much moisture. The un burned gas becomes liquid again. It happens to me every time I get a new house to remodel. And the gas company takes a week to come out and turn it on. We end up using a propane heater to heat things up. The walls all get wet . That makes it real hard to paint the walls. Lol. So that will happen every time you use that heater. You will be warm but wet. So the bad and the good. I'll just stick to burning wood. Warm and dry plus less to carry. More work but who is afraid of that. Not real campers. Or we would just camp in the living room. That was fun when I was 4 but not so much at 48. Unless it's with the kiddos. Then its priceless. As long as you don't try fire rolls again in doors. Lmfao. 😅🤣😂🙃 stay safe . 😁👍🍻🍺🇺🇲

    • @TheOutdoorsMeGee
      @TheOutdoorsMeGee  Год назад +4

    • @joshjablonicky171
      @joshjablonicky171 Год назад +4

      I noticed when running mine you can get a lot of condensation in there. I would crack open a window or two and it would really help mitigate that problem. Not all the way but it didn't make a difference.

    What is the American obsession with frying pans? Good effort by the way but try and stretch to at least a saute pan or god forbid an actual sauce pan. The amount of people I have seen try and cook eastern food in frying pans too, I mean do woks not exist over there? Looks like your tent could do with a proof. In the UK there's a product called Fabrisil, paint it on. You can hack it probably with petrol and silicone sealant. Get a carbon steel wok on that fire and save the fuel. Peace and respect from across the pond.

      A wok wont sit on a lil backpack stove and definitely dont wana sit and hold it over the flame the whole time. Pan just simple and easy. To each their own tho! The condensation is from the propane not being ventilated properly for sure. Fun time tho!

      @@TheOutdoorsMeGee Oh Right mate fair enough. I can get flat bottomed woks over here maybe a flat bottomed 12 inch makes a good camping pan and I cook stir fries with mine on a Coleman 533 it works a treat, they cook so fast. A wok you can just sit in the fire or on a small free standing grill that's nothing to carry. Anyway, as you say each to their own. I have a carbon steel frying pan too..'skillet' as you say. Camped at a bike rally in April in the Yorkshire Wolds once, the tent actually froze solid. I slept with my crash helmet on, top tip that, my head was warm, my balls went black and fell off mind you, life has never been the same since.

    Sure hope you aired and dried all of your wet gear including the tent immediately on getting home. Mildew will ruin it if you get lazy and leave it for a few days -or more if you forget.
