I know this was two years ago but I just had to comment. What a drag to lose a beer 🍺 like that. Well, it's a drag to lose a beer period, but to have it leak all over the items that are supposed to keep you warm and comfortable is an even bigger disaster😬 yikes 😬 EESH KEESH!
Let me just say you handled it quite well, you didn't let it ruin your trip you just moved on and stayed happy-go-lucky and had a great trip. After all, being mad and complaining 🙄 🙃 wouldn't have made it any better.

Gr8 Sunday tv. Wonder, if you all have cup of soup, Wal-Mart has by Roman. It is Ramon noodles and you only have to pour water to line and let set, and eat. I use in microwave, 2 min then 1 min.

Including this channel, I am subscribed to only one other channel where the number of subscribers is so low as to make absolutely zero sense. The rest of the ones I subscribe to seem to grow by leaps and bounds, and half of them barely compare to this channel, some not at all. I've heard many people say that they were somehow mysteriously unsubcribed from a channel, I've heard that a lot, even had it happen to me twice myself that I can remember. This channel offers real content, real humor, and just an all-around good time. We should easily be between 100k-300k subscribers after all of these years. Sorry for the speech, but I'm irritated and confused

As for your pesticide in the water comment, check out MN Millennial Farmer RUclips post on July 24, 2018. He does tests on the water coming out of his field drain tile where they enter a creek. He even drinks it WITHOUT filtering it. Test results are amazing. Better then bottled water that it sends to the same lab to be tested. LOL Dirt and rock filters water as it passes through. Glad you didn't freeze to death. Crazy on dude.
Heck yeah! Thats some good info! He probably takes damn good car of his land as well. This creek sits next to a few cattle and pig farms as well. Cow shits always a little spooky unless there's mushrooms under it lol

Hey Boss, boiling just kills the bugs in the water. So wont really change the ppm reading. there are dozens and dozens of things that can make for a high TDS, or contaminate level & they each have their very own little EPA MCL level. I would suspect that meter is not very good, if your water filter is working? Me, I say forget the water and call Jenny to bring more beer......LOL, Awesome video I'm in stitches.

Awesome! Just remember the axe/hatchet is always secured/tied to the outside of the backpack
Always bring an extra tarp (harbor freight) build a fire wall for your fire pit and reflect some heat back to the tent
Think about go “live” on one of your trips, it’s great for raising funds for new gear , food , beer , new locations , or take a novice bush crafter with you (non friend)

I didn't want to be to close the way the wind was blowing.
Since the north winds were blowing heavy didn't want to risk burning up the tarp/damaging it.

Sock flavored beer! Woot woot! A long time ago, I had a similar issue with a hatchet sleeve. Ended up making a new sleeve out of duct tape.
That Free Soldier Tarp is the bees knees! Used it on my Alone at Waldo Lake and Hammock Camp in an Oregon Rain Forest videos and had zero complaints about it. They also make pants that I wear all the time that are kickin. Stay away from their boots though. Garbage.

I always keep my sleeping bag in a plastic bag in transit, just incase of beer explosions! or accidently dropping bag on wet ground! hope this helps in future min! :)
