- A fun challenge to test your outdoors skills with super cheap items! I had some surprises on my adventure and it got intense at times but was definitely worth it!
this is the video that hooked me on your channel and the great outdoors, this is what the outdoors is all about, there's other cool stuff out there on other trails sure but this is the REAL deal

One thing you could've done with that $1 knife is pull the blade off the handle and manufactured something stronger out of a stick. Maybe. I dunno. Seems like an option perhaps. Maybe depending on how the length of the tang.

Not outdoorsy at all but even I wouldn't try to start a fire directly on damp ground. Some branches underneath the tinder bundle would help, along with having everything ready. But since it was early in your adventures it's all good
But seriously rethink the music!

The Outdoors MeGee another RUclips survival channel. They also have a dog that they bring.
I tried this challenge last night. After bidding my ugly wife farewell I set forward in to the forrest. My ten items were as follows. One bog roll. One lighter. Seven cigarettes. One bottle of single malt. As the weather drew in and the rain came down I sat in my car and was quite warm and toasty. Camping is easy if you prepare :)

Man that is crazy I was just saying on another guy's $10 dollar store 24 hour challenge that nobody has ever used to shower curtain and I'm like if I'm going to do it I think I would buy a shower curtain because it has the holes in it already for lashing and some of them have little magnets at the bottom you could use for buttons for lashing and of course it's waterproof so this is cool I'll be it'll be a little bit weird to see if it works good or what

I thoroughly enjoyed this!! Did your wife pick out the soundtrack material, or did she let one of her kids do that? You ain't gonna gain too many fans with that crap playing...but it didn't stop me! Great moments; from the dog takin' a dump in the center lane, the blade failure - the struggle is real...and you had a pretty sensible set up. Up off the ground is great, and you had enough lighters to eventually get a fire started without involving EMT's and a call to 911. Well done, brother!!
The music was absolutely garbage... the whole video sucked i feel lol ive come a very long way sinve this video! Check out one of my newer videos I think you would enjoy them!
toilet paper,... that was not bought at the 1 dollar store,.....but what to do if you run out in the bush,... maybe some bark or leaves make good toiletpaper,.... could be a good topic for a survival channel.

Get some of the dollar tree sales papers from the front of the store. They are free and would work as well as the sears catalogue we used to use as kids..

your cheap knife actually stood up to a fantastic amount of abuse. wrap the hanndle tightly with a strand of your plastic twine and carefully melt it into place over your fire. roll it down with sticks while it's stillll soft if you need to.

So disappointed. I really wanted to watch. You have your own style, beautiful dog, nice woods, different supplies, I really wanted to watch and see what you came up with, but why do people ruin their Videos by making the music too loud? I got through it a couple times, but it kept coming and I couldn't take it any more. So sorry. I hope you had a good time though.
