they develop well as characters and as a cute couple katara wldn't stop talking about aang after he passed away in the legend of korra which proves how much she still loves him. that's true love and true dedication which personally I like how it ended with them instead althought the comic explains more how much of a healthy couple they became.

3. In Crossroads of destiny Aang giving up Avatar state to save Katara and Aang letting go of Katara save Katara

@@techedbirb6663 I know. But even I personally (it may be different for everyone else) wouldn't attack or hurt someone if they did something on accident. That and I wouldn't attack anyone at all. I just don't think physical harming is.a proper disciplinary method. Especially in this case.
But, it's kinda Katara's fault for practicing Waterbending near Aang who is so hyperactive. And let's not forget how she stood behind Zuko when Azula struck lightning and directed to her!

I really wish that they made a sequel called katara the last water bender showing us more of her path and future the show revolving around her emotions and not revolving around ang
Whenever I get discouraged about the modern state of film and television, where there’s this concerted effort to push edgy “anti-romance” storylines, I always come back to Avatar, a show that is unapologetic in its romances. Yes, the hero and the girl get together. Eat your hearts out, edgelords. This is what real love looks like. Thank you, ATLA writers, for giving us romantics something to hold on to in this cynical age. Thank you.
