    I guess you wouldn't expect anything different to be on the latest T Shirt.....Larry being Larry, with no filters. Definitely cool and should be a hit with those who get to wear it. I would have included a "thought bubble" with Gregg Hansford saying....".your mother should wash your mouth out Larry". Keep up the great work Jack, always enjoy your videos.

    Hello Jack & co
    My tshirt arrived today . Cool as. No mucking from your end obviously. I bought 2 so I have one to wear when living day to day mowing the lawn etc, another one to go on the wall.
    As a business owner with my Mrs we enjoy high standards like LP has obviously pumped into you.
    A thought of mine while admiring the whole story of LP etc.
    Would you consider a story or 2 of chapters about pushing shit up hill and the character building that comes with it. No doubt the story of Legend Larry has some bumps in the road.
    Cheers for all the chapters you are sharing.

      Cheers for the message and glad to hear your order arrived quickly.
      Yeah there's really enough content from Dad's life and career for a decent book, but he's never been that keen on that. Thanks for sharing the ideas, will definitely work on something moving forward.

    Jack what spec were the Chevy engines in 94? Something like an iron block with a 4" bore and 18 or 23deg heads? Maybe even SB2.2? (94 might be a bit early for these?) Did the block and heads have to be OE GM?

    • @perkinsengineering
      @perkinsengineering  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, 182 Chev block, 18 degree heads. They used this configuration right up until 2003 when the Holden Motorsport Engine came into play with a different block and heads.

    Given dads reflexes and health , age ( & natural mental capacity etc ) he'd make for an interesting sport's science experiment being tested whilst driving various race cars on track against a younger driver , all you need is a younger driver ( if you know one 😉 ) & Phillip Island
    Monash University may have someone interested in such a study as this.

Thanks for sharing Jack and I really like how the Walkinshaw car has the dat glow orange on it reminiscent of the Bathurst winning 84 Commodore.

    A really nice tidy looking workshop there Jack, bet LP could mess it up a bit when he's getting "full hands on" with the spanners. Ironic, '93 win with LP's own improved Aussie V8. '94 big Chevy V8 third place, they "hobbled" the horse (power).

      Subscribed from SA. That said the 2023 "great race" was the first one I've never watched in over 50 years. Then again it all fell apart late 90's anyway with the BOGAN V8 Supercars nonsense and simply turned into a marketing and advertising billboard show. Very sad how it's turned out. Cheers!@@perkinsengineering

      It's all over champ! “The existing uses of the Sandown Racecourse will remain as is for the foreseeable future. Horseracing will continue and the Supercars remain on periodical contracts for their meetings.” However, any redevelopment is still far from a certainty and would take a considerable period of time to achieve.
