And there's an oven version that you can make using the same four ramekins, if you don't have an electric pressure cooker :) Our weekend is pretty spectacular so far, and hope yours is as well! If I had had the Magic Shell hard shell for them, I think they would have been identical :) As it was, we "made do" with hot fudge sauce on top, LOL! Have a wonderful and blessed day ---Stacy 😍❤

Mel's Simple Meals - thanks so much for stopping by! We always get the molten lava cakes at Chilis when we go, I deliberately eat light or put half in a take out box so I can save room for dessert! I know you have an IP, so these are pretty easy to put together. I thought they were really good, but a wee bit cooked more than I wanted at 9 minutes, so next time I might try 8. I talked to a friend of mine locally who has an Instant Pot, although a different model and she said hers were very flowing and lava-like at 9 minutes and she thought she would need to do them more next time in her IP!!!! Crazy! I wonder if the models being different affects it. So, anyway, I hope they work for you and you get a chance to make them. I am a total chocoholic, so they were fantastic to me! These lava cakes are so good, you'll have to try an oven version, or the Instant Pot version the next time you visit :) I got the rectangular plates a couple of years ago at HomeGoods, I take stuff to Bible study on them :) They worked well for the lava cakes and ice cream though! Barbara Turner - thanks so much for stopping by! The Instant Pot is just one of the new hot gadgets for the kitchen :) I know that most places sold out around Christmas, because they were in such high demand. I had had an IP as well as an air fryer on my "kitchen gadget wish list" for a couple of years. I got the IP right after Black Friday, on a good sale, and still hope to get an air fryer in the next year. I do like new gadgets and experimenting and learning new things :) I think that it is *Brilliant* marketing to call it Instant, because it is not, you have to wait for it come to pressure, then cook, then release pressure. Still, for some things, it is a lot faster. Like a roast you would cook all day on low in a crockpot, you can do it in the pressure cooker for about 90 minutes, plus the come to pressure and release pressure times, so about 2 hours versus 8 hours .Same with cooking dried beans. Instead of cooking on the stovetop for 2-3 hours, they take about 45 minutes in the IP. You do have to wait on it to come to pressure, and for things like meats where the juices need time to redistribute, you wait on it to release the built up steam and pressure naturally. Other things, like pasta dishes, you release the pressure immediately to stop the cooking. You can do pasta, like mac and cheese, and spaghetti in half the time it takes on the stove. Still, it is not Instant, but for some things, can be a time saver. I haven't gotten my air fryer yet, but I know I want to get one to try things like fries, onion rings, chicken strips, fish strips, etc that I don't want to fry in grease. I hope some of that helped!
