      @@ASRCO :lol: no it gets it every 6 mos or 5k miles. I do it myself. I did see a tiny weep on one of the rear struts, I ordered a set of KYBs. Looks like an easy job. That is certainly expected and fair at this point as a maintenance item. I think the rear handling is a bit softer from when I got it.

      Kevin S im NOT sorry, i broke my chair. Everyone is playing the SUV business. Baby boomers getting old and need SUV for comfort. Baby boomers with $$$$. Lexus has a PROBLEM. they are trying to play small and safe with the wrong type of customers at the wrong price level. Customers with lots of $$$$$ majority of them dont care how they spend. They just want something amazing, fast, powerful, good looks, prestige. Also, a common complaint about lexus design and i heard this while attending the autoshow, is the face front grill. A lot of peepo are not happy with the weird “hourglass” look. It looks like a toyota designer, took a grill off an audi, cut it in half and put it back together, with wrong proportions. I am not the only one who thought about this, there has been so many complaints about the front grill.

    • @kevinManhattan
      @kevinManhattan 4 года назад +1

      @@klau88873 Broke your chair? That's the lamest comeback Ive ever heard. Second of all, that's all you can come up with? the grill? hourglass grill??? This is called Spindle Grill and I know there are people who hate them and there are people who love them. I happened to be latter. You really think one design aspect of this car is enough to generalize Lexus having issues??? A consistent Toyota problem of lack of aerodynamics and track performance??? You obviously never heard of LFA Nurburgring Edition.
      Have you seen what they sell annually? check the numbers bro. Number don't lie. Not to mention, have you seen which company has been the number 1 ( they slid to 2 this year) in highest dependability awards?? I can go on and on. Just because you are a bimmer or Audi fanboy (whichever) and do not like the way Lexus designed their grills, you can't say Lexus has a problem. Every company has problems. Not just Lexus. But to me, they are selling their vehicles alright. Play safe with wrong type of customers at the wrong price level? How the hell did you come up with that one? who told you they are playing with wrong price level? YOu can't afford this or something??
      Gonna tell you again. Sit your ass down.

    • @boboutelama5748
      @boboutelama5748 4 года назад +4

      I doubt this would happen. And you can't simply bring back a car with just a few thousands of demands. Just look at the example of the Yaris GR. Peoples are writing all over the US to Toyota to allow this car to be imported, and they don't do that.
      And seriously, in the actual sedan unfriendly environment, Lexus would be well advised to reduce it's sedan portofolio. GS was not solding, LS doesn't sell, CT sells not very well, ES isn't imported in all markets yet. LC is very expensive and sells in scarse numbers. Honestly, on the european market, the IS is the only sedan of the lineup that can be calling "selling", and the CT just behind it (european like small cars). But I need to underline the good international selling performance of the RC, that is clearly gaining the interst of the younger community due to it's presence in popular videogames and the Supra fiasco.
      My strategy for cutting costs for Lexus would be to play the proximity with Toyota and use Lexus to propose models that are more interesting and soughed after. The Toyota Century, for example, could be a splendid Lexus LS with a slighly revised/adapted interior to make him more international market friendly. The Toyota Alphard coud be a splendid Lexus Van, that are in high demand amongst rich peoples.

The car came with 28600 miles and so far, I definitely made the right decision in getting this car over the ES 350. The ES is not a bad car, it's very spacious and very comfortable and quiet, but I needed a big sedan with AWD and performance. Within 3 weeks, the car drives like a combination of the IS and ES. Went into the market for a GSF and after driving back to back, ended up getting an RCF with carbon fiber/TVD. Just the 1 foot smaller size, lighter and stiffer/sportier setup, exterior styling suited me more personally. Ended up getting a used Lexus RX450h to cover the utility while RCF for that gem of an engine. It is every bit the masterpiece the hype is about. 471 HP from a very sonorous engine. If I wanted a 4 door, I would have gotten a GSF no doubt. Both are great cars.

    What would have been the truly *BEST* send off for the GS-F would be to give it the active exhaust and 10-Speed from the LC500! I love everything about the GS-F, *but* haven driven _and experiencing_ an LC500 ... the GS-F definitely deserves those two upgrades!
    The LC500s exhaust gives you what you want and is that thing that has been missing from *EVERY LEXUS V8 “F” CAR!* ... which is a damn shame because the LC really isn’t a true sports car, it’s a _touring coupe!_ Yes it goes quickly and can handle decently well but it doesn’t give you that _drive me harder_ feeling like the GS-F!

    Loved my 2013 GS350 AWD F-sport. It offered perfect size, good performance and good looks. Lexus is going to mistake if they think GS customers are going to be satisfied with a current ES350 offering. The IS is too small and the LS is a boat. Unless Lexus is willing to make an ES350 AWD F-Sport, some of us may be forced to look outside Lexus. That would be a real shame.
