He's alive!!!!! Nice Video mate. Eventually you will get rid of the scaffolding (wind vane) and buy a back up TP like I did. :-) They just look so much nicer without the junk hanging off the back. If I remember correctly we are about at the point where someone suggested you may have forgotten your keys as progress was reversed for a while! :-) Looking forward to the drama. haha.
Noticed you using the tiller pilot & not the wind steering on day 3 , was the Hebridean struggling at this point.?I have more or less the same setup ready for my departure in early June, doing a non official year behind Azores jester themed of course, but few things I have changed for this year is the amount of gear I’m gonna carry. I have more spares for spares and spares, too much excess weight and stuff. She’s dry docked at the minute newly painted and anti fouled so thinking now about what to take what reserve stuff to take and what I’m never gonna use. Brilliant video though mate, nonsense about the duration it took to get out it was worth the wait .well done dude
Thank you! I chose 6mm control lines and matching sheeves. I should've gone with 6mm sheaves but 5mm lines. They were chaffing, I was just saving the wind vane for night times, that's all. It did brilliantly for the trip. A must have in my opinion
@@SVRoquetta noted, will check my control lines and sheaves .hope you have another video coming out soon and with luck you can compare my journey with mine.15 wks to go eek!
@@crispinbonham-carter8588 well... There didn't seem to be a huge amount of interest and the last thing I want to do is appear arrogant. Fame is enough, ya know?
Good to see you back Justin…looked like a great sail up to that point…looking forward to seeing how the force 7-8 went 😉👍🏼
You just love that boat. Never lets you down. and now it's ashore, unloved......
Not unloved mate. Resting and getting some love

Yes, exactly that point 😂😂😂😂
Yeah, I remember running in to see your track and thinking Oh, that must be tasty out there. Great first week though eh??
Alway a bonus when you find something that you thought was lost.
Omg I’ve been waiting way too long for this video.!
I'm so so sorry. I've just been so busy. It's no excuse, I'm a bad person. Thank you for your patience 😁
Always enjoying your videos! Here also a Hebridean under construction, hope to put it in use soon.
Fantastic. Well done!

Finally! What's the rope dangling off the boom? Jibe preventer at the ready?
Yes exactly, preventer 'in waiting'. Sorry for the delay, I'm run ragged 👍
@@SVRoquetta and when is the promised live lecture/Q&A happening?

@@SVRoquetta hmmm... I think there needs to be a Twister meet/piss up sometime. Before you sell Roquetta!
Great sail trim. Watched the electric tiller pilot at the end of the video and it wasn’t working hard.
It's very 'twister' thing that, isn't it? They balance beautifully 😁
