Love how these little bikes look. Thankyou for sharing. I wish they came with a weatherproof "Hard Sided" storage compartment/area under the seat that was sealed by the seat folding downward and accessed by the seat folding upward.
The Ruck Shop stage 1 is only for the variator and ignition while leaving the engine stock. You wont gain much, or any top speed, but you notice a big increase in low end, and Hill climbing power.
Great video, just bought a 2019 Honda Ruckus and it's the first scooter i've owned and had a few questions as i'm not too familiar with them. The first is, is there a top speed cap on the engine and if you hit it, does it make a high pitched noise? I can get mine to around 40 MPH, but it will start making a pretty high pitched and loud noise, but not sure what that is or if that's an issue that needs to be fixed. The second is, is there something that can come loose in the area near the air filter on the left side? Sometimes when riding it sounds like a screw or something is loose and rattling. I took some of it apart and couldn't find anything. Any help with these would be greatly appreciated!
I really want one in the near future . But Im concerned with it being carbureted. My last bike would have trouble starting if I didn't ride it on a daily bases. And over winter it really sucked to start. Of course it's all because of the Ethanol gumming up the carb jets. So i was wondering if you have had any issues. Thanks Great video !
I’ve never had any issues, I’m in north eastern USA and it has never had an issue, I just put in 87 with no additives, others may have had issues but I hope this helps
You could take a moment to talk about the mod's on your Ruckus. Different handlebars, relocated turn signals, Air Filter (still no luck finding the original?) .. Tach (you mentioned).. Anything else? I just picked up a 2009 completely stock..
Hi Colins! This is Kyra from KEMIMOTO, one of the top 5 sellers in the auto & motor accessories field. We looked through your RUclips channel and realized that you owned a Honda Ruckus. Currently we do have a great product that fits the Ruckus. Are you interested in reviewing it for us? Looking forward to your reply if you're interested. We have enough sincerity to invite you to cooperate with us. Thank you!
Your goodbye, I bought the same, but I saturated it and settled it, but what do I have, the ancestor does not work, and the mind is focused, and I strayed in China to the Indian?
I bought new $3800.00😬 i blame biden but 0 miles i bet it has the new seat smell lol its being delivered directly from honda to my local shop. Im so gosh darn excited but then i think of only being able to go 25 for 600 miles haha so ill be heavily modifying it with electronics stereo lights bigger battery. So when im putting around i dont get bored ill have gadgets. But after break in its getting k&n air filter in factory air box slip on exhaust polini variator and a slightly better carb im not looking to race it or anything but i wanna be able to keep up with traffic so i can enjoy it more. Im expecting to have close to 5k into by next summer. The 20ah lithium is gonna have to go under the seat in an ammo can or something i hate it when my lights get dim at a stop light ...makes my ride look weak.
I have a 2022 full stage 2 done myself plus changed out the carb. Lights are easy, pull the bulbs & install better bulbs such as plug & play LED. Do Not add a K&N filter or a slip-on exhaust. You will be disappointed. Instead, Polini variator, sliders, variator lightened face, side pegs, carb, air intake & a performance exhaust. When adding the exhaust, be not be fooled into buying the cheaper versions as the header will be cheaply made. I have done all this & more, my curb weight over stock is 220lbs including bags, locks & me while I cruise with traffic at 45mph top speed 50/51.
How many miles per gallon does it get? I owned a Metropolitan and it only got 93 mpg. Right now I own a KYMCO Agility 125 and it gets 60-91 mpg depending on how often I ride on 50 mph roads. It has a top speed around 53 mph stock. A new one costs about the same as a Ruckus.@@JFrenchRennier
Man I am on my FIRST year of owning the Honda ruckus and I've managed to put 12,300 miles on it😂😂😂😂
Love how these little bikes look. Thankyou for sharing. I wish they came with a weatherproof "Hard Sided" storage compartment/area under the seat that was sealed by the seat folding downward and accessed by the seat folding upward.
There's an aftermarket compartment that fits under seat
My 28,000 mile review of my 2007 Ruckus;
Still runs great!
Very wimpy. My 2005 Metropolitan has over 62K miles.
@@wileecoyote5749 lol to get it to 62k did you drive it non stop since you bought it since it goes 30mph
Wow, 28,000 miles?
Now I got 32,100 miles.
@pleasedontwatchthese9593 The Metropolitan goes faster than 30 miles an hour. They have a top speed of around 38-40 mph.
Great video. Keep them coming.
I love my Ruckus. They are truly amazing little scooters for being 49cc.
I got around 900 miles on my 2020. Absolutely love it. I have a CBR and I still love cruising on my ruckus.
Ha Ha what a wimp. I have 62,446 on my stock 2005 Metropolitan
@@wileecoyote5749 that’s the gayest scooter ever congrats!
@@Diggyace14 Not a bad thing!

hill climbing hey? I'm debating getting a ruckus and my big concern is the hill near my house...
I got a 07 ruckus got hit by a deer . A car. Ran into a curb at 40. It's still runs like a dream
Things replaced .. mirrors that's it
Love mine. Never getting rid of it.
I want to ride one of these from the Midwest to California
Can't wait to watch your 15 year review video on the ruckus~
It'll last FOREVER
By definition, you're going to have to.
Wow great review! My boyfriend actually has a ruckus too just like that one. Do you think he would be able to take me on the back or is it too small?
Too small
I carried my wife in a parking lot. It seemed ok.
i do it all the time!!
2 small people will be ok but awkward. One big person takes up entire seat
It is a fun bike to ride.thanks for sharing and have a great day
I want one so bad but I'd need to get it up about five stairs into my first story apartment

You need to re-install the air filter on your modified air intake which you have had in previous video's.

Why don't you ride it more? The mileage for three years is sooo low. I rode bicycles that many miles in a year in my bicycle days.
How many miles do the tires typically last?
Are you selling it?

I would like to talk about working together, do you also have Yamaha Zuma parts?
whens year 4 brooo
I think i paid 1400 for mine and its a 2009 i also hit 42 at 230 pounds
It took you 3 years to hit 3500 miles? I have had mine a month and done almost to 3k! And I own 3 bikes to so I ride the others to.
Would you say a 2016 with 3k miles on it is worth $2k? Im in Pa.
1200
Yes in today’s economic climate. If you can get it for 1700-1800 super win,
Ha Ha 3,500 miles. I put 1000 a month on my Metropolitan
