I've been testing solid versus vented fixed blades as well and have been seeing the same thing. My vented heads are noisy, but they fly like darts. Once I get past 30 yards, all of the solids get squirrely and the groups open up considerably. I'm shooting knock tuned shafts with helical 4 fletch AAE max stealth vanes. Guess I'm sticking with vented. The solids seem to just have too much surface area for the air to interact with.
This all comes down to your arrow build, nock tuning every shaft using broadheads and having a perfect tune. Also solids show shooting imperfections more aswell. I can get my solids to fly exactly the same and just as accurate to 120 yards. Just takes time and tuning knowledge. Vented are more forgiving but noisy
Did you try shooting them out of your Ravin crossbow?? I was told by the tooth of the arrow staff that out of my Ravin R10 crossbow that they recommend the 1" vented because they are more forgiving.

Same here, vented are a tad bit noisier but grouped better out of my bow

Yep I got another video coming up!
I've been a mechanical guy for over 10 years. Until I shot these
Did you nock tune the arrows before hand? That can explain the different POI
Will be trying that tomorrow and see if that helps

I have not tried them. This might be a good idea for my next video :)
Ok video i come across but the bad thing is that u should shoot a field point to compared for both broadheads.
Look similar to slick tricks. To bad the S model isn’t flying nice
I will be doing a follow up video on possibly nock tuning if that helps the flight of the S mode
@@GeLeeOutdoors what is nock tuning? Also having trouble with discount code.
Nick tuning is when you turn the nock every 1/4 turn and see if it shoots better
Try this code

The vented series is for bows and crossbows with speed. The Solid series is not.
Seriously!? Accuracy test with a crossbow? Anything can be tuned.
