I get good rotation with these ToTA single bevel broadheads through my targets. I'm not so confident hunting with them though since they're awfully small.
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA yeah likely with proper shot placement. But I'm looking for something with larger cutting surface in addition to the rotational function.
It would be awesome to see a follow up video on a long/er range review. I’m curious how long it maintains that good flight. Within reason of course. It’s penetration would probably still be pretty good even at distance because of the head only being an inch and all.
I was thinking about going to single bevel broadhead. And heavier arrow for my wife's wicked ridge crossbow. She killed a big bear. My wife was using TOTA 100 gr vent xl. Blew right thru the bear into a 55 gallon metal drum. Bear didn't run 50 to 60 yds. Her first time bear hunting.
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA i hope u do more test with it. Look forward to ya's bow season. Enjoy hunting video's from other states. The TOTA guy said they would shoot good out of my wife's crossbow.
It’s a good one but it’s exodus or grim reaper for me. Exodus is such a great head under $50. My bow shoots a 454 grain arrow 329 fps. And that exodus still flies like a field point. And it’s the only head that will poke out the back of my rinehart target. Why bother with another fixed head?
@@JeremyMiller-fi7vg i shoot a PSE Xpedite NXT, 80 pounds, set at 30”. It’s a 360 IBO bow, realistically closer to about 350 IBO. But it is unreal. Might go faster with FL mods, I just got a set of those but I am dialed in and will not change it until post season.
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I don’t think there is a better head than Exodus. Stupid sharp, flies like a field point, strong, made in USA. $42.99 for three at my local pro shop. There is no reason to shoot another head for me, except to shoot a big mech head.
@@bryanheimann5370 I was about to say you had to be shooting 80 lb plus limbs on something! Haha I'm shooting a 530 Gr arrow right now at about 270 275
zero rotation is odd, that is what single bevels are designed to do, Lusk always gets good rotation with single bevels in gel tests. it would make a good low poundage/short draw head, maybe for women or kids.
Yes we know what single bevels are for, as we went over this when reviewing the wound channel It Depends what gel he uses we use 20% fbi grade ballistic gel it’s insanely dense in a whitetail or target rotation would be seen
Not sure , but it may have to do with whether it is a right or left bevel on it . I believe you need to use the correct bevel depending on your arrow fetching
Hot dang look at that penetration! Next time try to shoot it through a scapula with gel behind it. I think that’s what single bevels are meant for. Well that’s what I’ve read about them.
Finally the only review i seen on it
We got more coming with it! Make sure to subscribe!

In targets we do as well, I believe in a whitetail it would be lethal

@stevepalmateer check out our kayuga pilot cut gen 2 tests and my hunt with it… it will check all your boxes

Y’all should check out the Crimson Talon CROC single bevel!
I seen lusk just dropped a vid on that maybe we will!

Them tooth of the arrow broadheads are MEAN!
Too small of a wound channel, might as well shoot a deer with a field point🙄

@Arbors.Adventures completely disagree with that comparison but it would have been nice to see this head have 1 1/8 - 1 3/8 cut
@ozark_trapper we will be I got some deer shoulder blades coming! 🤫

I've never seen a flagship bow even shoot 329fps with a 350 grain arrow. What are you shooting

That sounds like who'd be a awesome fix blade for a crossbow. American made is a plus ➕️ their if they work.
I just don’t understand the size of them, wish they were a touch bigger

I bet it’s that fat ferrule that is stopping the rotation.
@malcolmjohnson5941 it would make sense in the gel, in a whitetail I believe there would be rotation
