With the more or less apathy the RTX 4070 was met with- how can Nvidia fix the launch of their upcoming RTX 4060 and 4060ti? Well, unfortunately not much besides lower the price...
A GPU is a separate bank of ALUs and FPUs, designed to offload heavily parallelizable calculations from the main CPU onto a dedicated chip. The Graphics Card refers to the entire sub-system, containing the PCB, Memory, and Cooling solution.
Building a Budget PC can be tough. Not only are GPUs and CPUs so incredibly expensive, but they can be hard to find on a budget... But, there are tips and tricks to finding you your dream Budget GPU, and pairing it with a CPU that will give you the performance you want!

Considering that Microcenter is ALREADY bundling the 4070 with 100$ steam gift cards tells you how badly this price creep decision is going for Nvidia and retailers. They are going to have to make the 4060 300$ with 3070 performance to move anything resembling volume.

NVidia's shareholders saw how much people were willing to pay scalpers for the *"privilege"* of owning a GeForce RTX graphics card with the 30 series cards. So in turn those shareholders have told NVidia's execs to "NOT UNDERVALUE" their products again like they did with the "low" pricing of the RTX 3070 and 3060 class cards. Nvidia was like, "OK shareholders, you're the boss and we will price the cards how you see fit."
RTX 3080 FE launch price in September of 2020: $699
RTX 4080 FE launch price in November of 2022: $1,199
    Shareholders win.
    We lose.
Even AMD got yelled at by their shareholders.
Probably why the RX 7800XT won't be launching until late August of 2023. It will be $699 at launch and it will be handidly beaten by the RTX 4070 non-Ti base model and either matched or outperformed by the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti especially in Ray Tracing. Why? A paltry 8GB of 128bit GDDR5 memory at just 1.2Ghz, a wimpy 2,048 Stream Processors, 64 Texture Mapping Units, a wimpy 32 ROPs and just 16 virtually useless Ray Tracing Cores piddling along at 1.5Ghz core clockspeed with no overclocking! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 For $699! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nvidia wins! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh and the Radeon RX 7700XT will be utterly stomped by the GeForce RTX 4060Ti while costing over $500. Why? How's having a lousy 1,536 Stream Processors, 48 Texture Mapping Units and a lousy 24 ROPs and zero Ray Tracing Cores sound? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 For $500? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nvidia wins AGAIN! 🤣🤣🤣
And then there'll be the Radeon RX 7600XT,... this bucket of mutated puke will be far worse! Just imagine being absolutely humiliated by the GeForce RTX 3050 and yet the RX 7600XT will cost well over $350 at launch!
It will have just 6GB of 128bit GDDR4 graphics memory, 1,024 Stream Processors, 32 Texture Mapping Units, 16 ROPs and zero Ray Tracing cores, will be clocked at 1.3Ghz core clock, 1Ghz memory clock and no overclocking allowed. There, AMD fanboys,... ho ahead and spend $350+ on that piece of crap! 🤣 Nvidia wins again!
The RX 7500 will be barely better than the integrated GPU Vega 11 graphics chip in the Ryzen 5 3400G. The RX 7500 will cost $199 at launch and the pathetic Navi 34 chip will be paired with just 4GB of 64bit DDR4 graphics memory and feature 640 Stream Processors, 16 texture units, 8 ROPs and zero secondary features and will run at 1.2Ghz core clock with a 1Ghz memory clock and no overclocking. For $199? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nvidia wins *AGAIN!!*
    Nvidia always wins.

Also wanted to comment and say that with the 4070. The fact that the specs are extremely similar yet the bus goes down while price skyrockets up.... yeah that's not good... pretty much there to make the 4070 Ti, 4080 and 4090 look good in comparison to the 4070. But the issue then is, if you look at the current 40 Series lineup in terms of specs, REALLY the only one worth bothering with is the 4090 which.... ya know you gotta take out a whole loan and then some to buy. That's just not practical for most people. Anyway, always happy to click on a Proceu Tech video
